OK so I had everything typed and ready to SUBMIT yesterday when the power went off. Needing to get onto work I had to just give up on loading what I had worked on for the days challenge. I used my Martha Stewart Button punch and a hole puncher to make my closure along with some melon colored baker's twine and viola, it was done. Now off to work I go,

Stamps: Short & Sweet, Unknown Cake imag
Paper: white, River Rock, TPS Persnickety
Ink: momento tuxedo black, elegant eggplant

Acrylic Distressed Holidays For You
This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 373.
I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 363 - Basic Pretty Pirouette.
I searched through my craft supplies Holly and guess what I found? Yep Acrylic Paints. So this is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 365 - Acrylic Distress. After drying I sanded and then sponged some basic gray on the raised sections but it also got on the rest of it. Not sure if this was the look I was going for but it is the one I ended up with ;)
I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the Pink Pirouette matt layer then matted that on basic gray.
My dp is from Basic Gray's Crazy Love pack.
I used my Copic ABS to color the 4 layers of primas then added some white cording to tie the button in the center with.

My heart is also for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 156 - Hearts. I added stickles to the heart stipes, cut a poppy parade mat for the heart and popped it up on dimensionals.
I used a sheet of dp from The Paper Studio - Love You stack for the bottom panel and soft suede for the base.
The focal panel is stamped with poppy parade using Wild West Alphabet "I" and "U", sponged with poppy parade then popped up on dimensionals. I punched 3 of the larger holes from poppy parade cs using my crop-a-dile, popped them up on dimensionals then covered with glossy glaze for faux brads.
This will be my valentine card to my darling hubby. I hope he likes it. He is so supportive and encouraging while enduring my addiction. LOL
RECIPE:
Stamps: Wild West Alphabet
Paper: white, daffodil delight, soft suede, poppy parade, TPS - Love You dp
Ink: poppy parade
Accessories: dimensionals, eyelet, crop-a-dile, stickles, ribbon, circle punches, Martha Stewart Heart Punch, corner punch
Techniques: Make Your Own Stripes, faux brads, 3D, sponge distressing
My colors are from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 361 - Soft Poppy Delight.
My tag panel and heart with the stips of cs from the color challenge are from Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 363 - Make Your Own Stripes.
