In My thoughts with Hope

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 570 - Honey and Cherry Meadows, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 573 - Revisiting Emboss Resist, and Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 435.
I have been MIA all week last week sick with sinus junk and just not feeling well enough to play and I think it is coming back for round 2 but I wanted to make something today. It started as a sympathy card and turning into encouragement for a co-worker who has worked hard all of her life and just at the peak of her career she goes and has a major stroke leaving her child-like in mentality. Such a sad situation as she was the breadwinner for her family. There is still hope that her faculties might return but not back where they were. The white embossed trees are a sign of winter when the leaves die off and the branches are bare. The mossy meadow tree popped up is the hope of the future that ins the spring the leaves and branches come back to life again.
Off to work I go.
I stamped the single tree on the inside after stamping off 2 times then the sentiment on top of the tree.  I hope she likes it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: In My Thoughts, Lovely as a Tree, Word on Word
Paper: White, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Bo Bunny-Forever Fall dp
Ink: Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: dimensionals, Cottage Cutz Tree
Techniques: 3D, emboss Resist, 2nd generation stamping

More Itty Bitty Merry Christmas Messages

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 559 - A CASE in point where we were to make a selection from the lists. I chose to REDO last Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 558 - White Silhouettes while CASing my LOVELY DECORATING SNOWMAN CARD. I left off the snowman. After loading last week I thought duh, why not have a snowbank with white trees so today I accomplished that. Whoo Hoo. I used a different stamp set today as well. I sponged the ink onto white cs then stamped the background stamp with versamark and added some white detail embossing powder and heat set it to simulate falling snow. EEK I may have to CASE this one since I left off the stickles on the curvy snow banks that I wanted to add. I was only 4 when my Grandmother passed away but 2 things I remember and have pictures of where a lot of trees in the yard so this is also for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 350 - Memories of Grandmother's House.
I stamped the sentiment on the front, inside and envelope with Island Indigo ink from More Merry Messages SU Stamp Set. I hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: More Merry Messages, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: white, indigo island, versa mark
Ink: Indigo Island
