Counting The Waves of Love

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 593 - Eating Cake and Pointing at the Wild Sky and for dessert "at the beach" which is where I long to be 90% of the time. It is also my Cool Treat place that I treat myself to as much as possible so this is also for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 384 - Cool Treats. I used my Marvy Mega Circle Punch to create my open circle for sponging for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 590 - Everything Old is New Again - Reverse Masking. I sponged soft sky, stamped my dolphin image in black then sponged pacific point for the water. I lined the waves lines with stickles for bling. I used the circle from the mask to cover my focal image and sponged some crumb cake then stamped some itty bitty background image in crumb cake to simulate sand. The palm tree die was cut out in crumb cake and wild wasabi.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the ODB set in pacific point ink then inked up just the last part of the sentiment and stamped on the envelope. Hope you like it. I have a 16 days count down to our next family beach trip. Cant wait.

Paper: white, crumb cake, wild wasabi

A Groovy Beachy Birthday

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 583 - So Tempted to get out there and Mambo I decided to go with a beach theme. I used my copics for the water portion making random strokes with 4 different shades then topped that off with stickles for wave action and what is a beach scene without a dolphin. For Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 586 = Erasable Ink I inked the upper left corner of my acrylic block with so saffron and used an eraser to simulate sun rays. And for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 377 - Groovy Elements these colors and the HB cake die are really groovy together.  My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 448
On the inside I stamped the Birthday Innies sentiment in tempting turquoise. From It's Your Birthday I stamped the HB sentiment on the envelope in melon Mambo. I hope you like it.

Paper: white, Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo

Wavey Anchors at the Beach with Bear

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 546 - Mind the Gap and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENG E# 336 - Waves of Color. Since blue is my favorite color and the beach is my favorite place to be, well, need I say more. LOL. I used 3 different shades of blue for the umbrella top and 2 for the water. I cut the dolphins out of basic gray cs and the lab from black. I love dolphins so I have a few swimming and jumping out of the water on the inside of the card.
The envelope is stamped with the same sentiment as the top front.   My dh is always whining about wanting to bring his mutt to the beach when we go so I am going to give this to him and tell me next time to bring this card and pretend "Bear" is with him. Hope he likes it and hope you do too.
Having computer issues with new upgrade of Windows 10 and can not load pics from home. I will edit pictures once issue is resolved
RECIPE:

Paper: white, Marina Mist, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand, Lost Lagoon, Baja Breeze, black
Ink: Marina Mist
Accessories: acetate, DRU-Dolphins, IO-Wave, Adirondack Chair, Beach Umbrella, FS-Lab

Hope you like it.
