Männerkarte mit Auto / Male Card with a Car

Hallo, alle zusammen, hier ist noch eine Karte für einen Männergeburtstag. Passend zum Gutschein musste auf die Karte natürlich ein Automotiv (alle Stempel von LaBlanche).
Hi everyone. I'm gonna share with you another masculine birthday card. Matching to the voucher it had to include an image with a car. 
@As You Like It Challenge: I prefer to create simple cards with stamping only, no scenes, no time-consuming colouring, if possible in a Vintage style and monochromatic (or quiet colours). In my opinion scenes fit better to styles with cute images such as cards for children.

4 Männerkarten mit Charlie Chaplin / 4 Masculine Cards

 

Hallo, allerseits, ich melde mich mal mit ein paar Männerkarten zurück. Zwecks Zeitmangel hatte ich gleich vier im gleichen Stil gestempelt. Im Hintergrund sind ein Ziegelsteinstempel (von Impression Obsession) und Zweige (von Hero Arts). Das Hauptmotiv ist von Deep Red.

Hi there, I'm back with a few male cards. For lack of time I created four cards in the same style. I used a brick stamp (by Impression Obsession) and a branch stamp (Hero Arts). The main image with Charlie Chaplin is from Deep Red.
I prefer to create simple cards with stamping only, no scenes, no time-consuming colouring, if possible in a Vintage style and monochromatic (or quiet colours). In my opinion scenes fit better to styles with cute images such as cards for children.

Vintage-Geburtstagskarte mit Foto / Vintage Birthday Card with Picture

Mein Töchterlein bekam eine Geburtstagskarte mit ihrem Foto von vor 20 Jahren (in Sepia umgewandelt). ♥ Für diese Karte habe ich den Hintergrund bestempelt (alle Motive von LaBlanche), geprägt und vor allem schön ramponiert. Das Foto habe ich mit einem Oval von Spellbinders ausgestanzt. Zu meinen Lieblingsstempeln gehören übrigens alle Schriftstempel für Hintergründe ... davon habe ich etliche. :-)
This was my daughter's birthday card with a 20 years old picture. I die-cut the photo with a Spellbinders ovale die. I stamped and dry-embossed the background and distressed the edges. By the way ... stamps with old scripts belong to my favourites, I got a bunch of them. :-)

Dezente Geburtstagskarte / Quiet Birthday Card

Hallo, allerseits, hier ist eine Karte zu einem 75. Geburtstag. Den Hintergrund habe ich erst mit Schablone und Strukturpaste gestaltet, dann mit Glimmermist eingesprüht. Auf das Pergamentpapier habe ich eine alte Schrift gestempelt und klar embosst. Einen silbernen Faden drum, Text ausgestanzt ... fertig. Leider ist der schöne Schimmer vom Glimmermist nicht zu sehen. Sieht insgesamt ziemlich unbunt aus, aber ich weiß schon, was ihr gefällt. ;-)
Hi there, this is a card for a ladie's 75th birthday. Once I created the background with a texture paste and a stencil I spread it with Glimmermist. I stamped an old script onto vellum, put a silver thread around, die-cut the sentiment ... done! Altogether it looks quite achromatic but I exactly know what she loves.

Vintagekarte für Hundeliebhaberin / Vintage Card for a Dog Lover

Hallo, allerseits, ich hatte vor geraumer Zeit eine Karte im Vintagestil für eine Kollegin gemacht (ich weiß, sie liebt das). Im Hintergrund ist alles gestempelt und mit Frantage-Prägepulver verziert. Alle Ränder sind schön ramponiert und braun gewischt.
Hi there, I created a Vintage birthday card for a colleague ( I know she loves it). Everything in the background was stamped. Then I added Frantage embossing powder, distressed and sponged the edges.
@As You Like It: I prefer making cards with many layers. It's an easy way to imitate a passe-partout and a frame.

Vintagekarte mit zerbrochenem Glas / Vintage card with cracked glass

Eine meiner Kolleginnen liebt es "so Vintage wie möglich". Also hab ich mal wieder die Broken-Glass-Technik angewendet. Der Hintergrund ist mit Glimmermist besprüht, mit der Blume bestempelt und dann mit mehreren Schichten UTEE embosst. Danch ging's ab in den Gefrierschrank. Im Anschluss wurde die Scheibe paarmal zerknickt. Um den Effekt der Glasrisse noch verstärken, wischt man mit dunklem Distress Ink darüber.
One of my colleagues loves so much Vintage as possible. That's why I tried once again the broken glass technique. I glimmermisted the background and stamped the image. Then I embosst several layers of UTEE and put it in the freezer. After a while I snapped it until you can see the cracks. For a better effect I sponged a dark Distress Ink.
@As You Like It: I prefer making cards with many layers (today it's only two - omg). The lower white layer seems like a passe-partout and acts as a frame.

Karte zu Pfingsten / Card for Whitsun

Uiuiui, diese Karte hätte ich beinahe verpasst zu zeigen! Im schönen Vintagestil gestaltet mit gestempelter Pfingstrose, Spitze, Wellpappe, geprägtem, zerrissenen Kanten, bestempelten Blümchen usw. Der Text hinter dem Cabochon ist handschriftlich.
Nearly I would miss out on sharing this card with you. It's created in the nice Vintage style with a stamped peony, with lace, corrugated paper, distressed edges, dry embossed background, stamped flowers etc. The sentiment behind the cabochon was handwritten.

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich grüße euch! Lang ist es her, dass ich diese Karte verschickt hatte, nur hatte ich sie noch nicht gezeigt. Motiv, Text und Hintergrund sind gestempelt. Passend zum Look habe ich Wellpappe, Spitze, Juteband und ein gestanztes Label verwendet.
Hi there!  It's been a while that I created this card. It was sent to cheer somebody up. The sentiment means: 'Pessimists are standing in the rain. Optimists are showering beneath clouds.' The phrase and all images were stamped, also in the background. Matching to the look I added corrugated paper, lace, burlap ribbon and a die-cut doily.

Männerkarte mit Kupfer auf Holz / Male Card with Copper at Wood

Hallo, ihr Guten, ich möchte euch hier eine Männerkarte zeigen, die man beim besten Willen nicht richtig knipsen konnte. Auf dem dunklen Holzpapier sind kupfern embosste Schnörkel, die hier fast nicht zu sehen sind. Im Original reagieren sie schön auf den Lichteinfall. Auch der Text ist so geprägt worden.
Hi there, I created a male birthday card that I could not photograph well with the best will in the world. I embossed copper swirls in the background and unfortunately they are here almost not visible. In the original they nicely react to the incidence of light. Also I did that with the sentiment.

2 Babykarten / 2 Baby Cards

Ich sollte über Weihnachten zwei Babykarten machen. Ob die lieben Kleinen inzwischen geboren sind, weiß ich noch gar nicht. Na drücken wir mal die Daumen!
Die Karten sind mit Papieren und Papierelementen von LaBlanche entstanden. Dazu gehören die Papiere, die Banner und viele kleine Bildchen zum Ausschneiden. Der Wagen, die Namensgirlande und das Schnörkelquadrat sind gestanzt. Zuletzt habe ich den Kinderwagen noch mit dem Wink of Stella beglitzert.
I had to create two baby cards over the Christmas holidays. I don't even know if the babies are born in the meantime. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
I used a paper set by LaBlanche including the paper, banners and little pictures (like the bears etc.). The swirly square, the carriage and the pennant were die-cut. At last I glimmered the carriage with the Wink of Stella.

Für unsere Nachbarin, eine Musiklehrerin. Ich habe das Uhrenmotiv zart mit Wassertankpinsel und Distressfarben coloriert. Das Zierdeckchen unter dem Hauptmotiv hab ich mit Distress und Schwämmchen eingefärbt.
This is a card for a neighbour. She's a music teacher and I think it fits perfectly for her. I coloured the clock with Distress Inks and also sponged the doily with Distress Inks.
