Motorradkarte für meinen Mann / Motorcycle card for my husband

Mein Mann hat Geburtstag. Weil er nichts lieber tut, als an seinen alten Motorrädern rumzuschrauben, bekommt er natürlich eine mit einem Oldtimer. Der Hintergrund ist mit einem alten Text bestempelt und bekam danach mit einer Schablone noch die Flecken aufgetupft.
My husband celebrates his birthday. Because there´s nothing better for him than to overhaul old motorcycles I created this card with an oldtimer. I stamped the script at the background paper, then I sponged the smudges with a mask (or a stencil).

Ich grüße euch an diesem verregneten Samstag! Ideales Wetter für Kartenkram! :-)

Hier ist ein Kärtchen für den Geburtstag meiner Tochter. Zuerst habe ich den Hintergrundtext mit Versamark gestempelt und weiß embosst. Darüber wurden die Pflanzen mit "Sahara Sand" gestempelt sowie die Punkte mit einer Schablone und Schwämmchen getupft. Dann natürlich viel gerissen und gewischt sowie dieses herrliche Frantáge Embossingpulver und Frantáge Mica auf den Ecken verteilt und geschmolzen. Die Blüte aus Organza ist wieder eine Eigenkreation.

This is a card for my daughter´s birthday. First I stamped the background script with Versamark and heat embossed it white. Then I stamped the plants with 'Sahara sand' and sponged the dots with a mask. Then I ripped and distressed the edges and added those awesome Frantáge embossingpowder and Frantáge Mica. The Organza flower is my own creation from leftovers. And I love the feathers because they symbolize lightness and match pefectly to the colours of the card.

Für meinen Kollegen gab´s diese Karte. Er freut sich zwar immer, aber noch mehr über den Rotwein ... *hahaha* Ich habe den Hintergrundstempel auch auf den Blüten benutzt, die waren ursprünglich weiß. Das braune Papier ist Strohseide. Schönes WE euch allen!

Hallo, Mädels, dieses Mal musste ich für einen traurigen Anlass basteln. Habe mich dabei nach einer Sketchvorgabe gerichtet. Ich hoffe, der Schmetterling mit seiner Symbolik wird verstanden. Die betroffene Familie ist christlich und das Tier (nach geglückter Metamorphose) soll Hoffnung ausdrücken - daher auch der Grünschimmer.
Hi girls, this time I had to create a card for a sad occasion. For that I used a sketch. I hope the symbolism of the butterfly will be understood. After it´s metamophosis this animal should express hope. That´s why the green tone too.

Hallo, ihr Hübschen! Hier ist eine Karte, die eine liebe Kollegin bekommen hat. Eigentlich ist sie ein Braun-Fan ... ich fand dann die "üppige Farbwahl" für das Motiv schon ganz schön mutig. *haha* Der Hintergrundtext ist weiß embosst, das Motiv braun gestempelt, klar embosst und noch dezent mit ein paar Distressfarben aquarellig coloriert.
Hi everybody! I´m going to show you  a birthday card for a colleague who is actually a fan of brown colour. In the end I thought that I was really daring with my choice of colours for the image. ;-) The background script was white embossed, the image was stamped with brown and then clearly embossed and subtly coloured with Distress inks.

Glückwunschkarte craft-grün / Birthday card craft-green

Hihi, der Werdegang dieser Karte ist amüsant. Ausgangspunkt war mal ein gestalteter Hintergrund, den ich verarbeiten wollte. Der landete schließlich wieder in der "Kann-ich-später-noch-gebrauchen- Kiste", dieses Mal mit einem zusätzlichen Motiv. Es passte einfach gar nichts zusammen. Außerdem mag ich diese Farbkombi nicht besonders. Naja, geht farblich evtl. als Herrenkarte durch. Eine verfahrene Kiste. :-) Nun habe ich diesen HG nochmals mit Distress und einer Schablone gewischt. Die Blüte von SU habe ich zweimal gestempelt, die obere Lage einfach kleiner ausgeschnitten.
Omg, that took some doing! The initial point of this card was a handstamped background which I made a while ago. But absolut nothing went together! Finally the origin background ended up with another image in the stock box. I´m really not this content. So what... Maybe it´s a card for a man because of this colour combination. :-)  Now I sponged this background again with Distress ink and a mask / stencil. The image was stamped twice and cut apart for double layering.

Hi there! This is a birthday card for a former colleague with a milestone birthday. The background was stamped and one part was dry embossed. I used the same paper and stamp for the matching voucher. I made this flower using Organza leftovers. I cut some circles and singed off the edges. Finally I added those nice feathers. Feathers used to express lightness or weightlessness - love them.

Die kleinen Bälle im Hintergrund sind mit Versamark gestempelt und klar embosst, der große Ball und der Text mit Versafine black und ebenfalls klar embosst. Außerdem sitzen der Ball und der Text auf verschieden hohen Abstandspads.
Hi there, that´s me again. This is a birthday card for a little soccer who turned to 7. I stamped the small football with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear powder. The sentiment and the large ball were stamped with Versafine black and also clear embossed. Furthermore the sentiment and the ball were added with dimensionals in different heights.

Hallo, ich grüße euch alle und wünsch euch ein schönes Wochenende! Hier zeig ich euch eine Karte, die beste Wünsche zur Genesung übermitteln sollte, passenderweise mit einem Schutzengelchen drauf (und auch als kleine Figur anbei). Erst hab ich das Papier mit verschiedenen Distressfarben und Glimmermists grün eingefärbt, dann den Engel gestempelt, maskiert und den Text darüber.
Hi there, this is a get well soon card which should send my best wishes for the sick person, fittingly with a guardian angel. At first I coloured the paper with several Distress Inks and Glimmermists, then I stamped the angel, masked it and stamped the script.

Geburtstagskarte für eine junge Frau / Birthday card for a young woman

Hallo, ihr Hübschen, meine offensichtliche Blogflaute hält nun schon geraume Zeit an. Asche auf mein Haupt. Aber die Fotos der zwischenzeitlich gebastelten Karten warten aufs Hochladen, nun muss ich doch endlich mal etwas zeigen.
Dies ist eine Auftragskarte für eine junge Frau. Das ist so eine Hübsche, ich kenn sie vom Sehen, deshalb hab ich die Karte schön romantisch und zart gehalten. Der Text ist ausgedruckt. Innen ist noch ein Geldfach - vergessen zu knipsen.
Hey there, this is a commissioned work for a young woman. I created it in a romantic style because this young lady is pleasing to the eye. The flower is handmade with organza leftovers. I used to wrap all my birthday gifts into organza instead wrapping paper. Then I gather it and cut off the edges. It looks just beautiful! So I use those leftovers for my flowers - I love this gentle and romantic effect. Inside of the card is a pocket for money -  forgot to photograph it.

Unsere Studentin hat ihren Abschluss gemacht und ich hatte den Auftrag, das Kärtchen vom Kollegium zu machen. Sie hat sich sehr gefreut! Im Hintergrund habe ich geprägte Papiersteifen, das Designerpapier hab ich noch mit silbernen Schnörkeln verziert, ebenso wie die Textstanzform. Der Glückwunsch ist aus demselben Papier gestanzt.
Our female student graduated last week and I had the order to create the congratulation card for her from the teacher team. She enjoyed it! I embossed two stripes of paper and added some silver swirls to the patterned paper. The sentiment was die-cut out of the same patterned paper.

Hallo, Mädels! Hier ist eine zweite Karte zum Abschluss unserer Studentin. Da ich sie u.a. im Fach Ethik unter meinen Fittichen hatte, habe ich auf diesem Kärtchen das GLÜCK thematisiert und auch die Geschenke darauf abgestimmt (ein Teil davon war das Hufeisen). Der Hintergrund ist mit verschiedenen Motiven bestempelt und zusätzlich mit Perfect Pearls "bepudert" Der Glitzer ist mal wieder nur zu erahnen. Schrift und Schmetterlinge sind gestempelt und klar embosst. Der Name ist ausgestanzt.
Hi everyone! This is another card for our female student who gratuated last week. Because I had her under my wings i.a. in the school subject ethics I chose a luck inspired theme. Zum 70. Geburtstag / For a 70th birthday

Das ist eine Karte für eine Dame zum 70. Geburtstag. Der Text ist ausgedruckt. Die Hutnadel und die Blüten hab ich selbst gemacht. Die Blüten sind mit Glitzersteinchenbrads befestigt. Hinter dem Designerpapier ist Spiegelkarton, hab ihn auch für die gestanzte Schnörkelform genommen.
This is a card for a lady´s 70th birthday. The sentiment was printed out with the computer and the flowers and the hatpin are handmade. I fixed the flowers with rhinestone brads. I used mirror paper (how do you say it in english?) behind the patterned paper and for the ornate die-cut too.

Resteverwertung. Ich hatte eine Restmenge dieses grünen Papiers aus den Anfangszeiten meiner Bastelei hier liegen. Ich finde, für Männerkarten passt das ganz gut. Hab es etwas aufgehübscht mit dem Hintergrundstempel von Impression Obsession und goldenem Embossingpulver. Bei den 2 unteren ist noch Platz für den Text.
Making use of leftovers. I had a residual amount of this green paper from the beginning times of my crafting. Now it´s used up. *mwahahaha* I actually dont like this green tone. I prettied up it with this background stamp and golden embossing powder. There´s some space on the upper two cards for the sentiment.

Im Hintergrund habe ich Specialty Stamping Paper mit Glimmermist eingesprüht und dann als Collage mit verschiedenen Motiven bestempelt. Die blödeste Idee war, den Glückwunsch mit kleinen Stanzbuchstaben zu gestalten, das hat ewig gedauert. Hätte man ja auch ausdrucken können ...

Ich hab wieder eine erste Klasse und die sind sooooo klitzeklein und anhänglich! ♥ Eine von den kleinen Mäusen feiert ihren 7. Geburtstag. Für sie gibt´s die kleine Sarah Kay. Coloriert ist mit Polychromos.
I have a new first class again. The tiddlers are so heavily tiny and cute and clingy. ♥ One of the little girls is turning to 7. I made this Sarah Kay card for her. The image was colored with Faber Polychromos.

Das ist meine Anna zu ihrem Schuleintritt 1998. Der Teddy, der aus der Zuckertüte guckt, hieß Herr Lehmann. :-D  This is my Anna at her first day at school in 1998. The name of the teddy who´s looking out of the school cone is Mr. Lehmann.

Männergeburtstagskarte / Male Birthday card

Hallo, Mädels, ich habe hier eine Karte für einen jungen Herrn. Den Text hab ich mit Versamark gestempelt und braun embosst. Der Rest ist gestanzt.
Hi there, this is a birthday card for a young man. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it brown. It´s actually one of my favourite techniques to use embossingpowder. The other details on the card were punched and die-cut.

Männerkarte / Male card

Unser befreundeter Nachbar hat Geburtstag und bekommt dieses Kärtchen. Das Motiv ist - wie bei der vorigen Karte - gestempelt und klar embosst. Danach hab ich es noch mit Distressfarben und Wassertankpinsel "aquarellig" coloriert. Die gestanzten Buchstaben hab ich auch einzeln mit Schwämmchen "gebräunt".
Hi everyone! This is a card for our neighbour. I used a sketch for the layout. I stamped the image brown and then clear embossed it - like my last card in the post below. After this I coloured it with Distress inks and a water brush. All die-cut letters were sponged.
My absolute favourite style is Vintage. I love it to use cards in this old style. I arranged my whole flat like this. :-)

Zum Geburtstag für eine Frau / For a woman´s birthday

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich hab hier mal eine Karte für die Vorratskiste. Habe mich nach einer Sketchvorgabe gerichtet. Das Motiv ist gestempelt und klar embosst, ich finde immer, das wirkt dann viel intensiver. Danach hab ich es noch mit Distressfarben und Wassertankpinsel "aquarellig" coloriert. Das cremefarbene Papier ist geprägt.
Hi everyone! Here´s a card for my stash. I used a sketch for the layout. I stamped the image brown and then clear embossed it. In my opinion it appears much more intensive. After this I coloured it with Distress inks and a water brush. The cream paper was dry embosssed.
