A Dream...

Hi friends!  This is a canvas I created using lots of Clearsnap goodies!
The background was stamped with Donna Salazar's Swirls stamp and embossed with Clearsnap embossing powder.
Then I added texture with Ceramic Stucco and a stencil.  The entire background was then sprayed with Cashmere Smooch Spritz and inked with Petals Chox and Stormy Inx (Mix'd Media Inx).
The quote is made up of Dusty Attic chipboard words and cut letters.
Most of these flowers were made by hand using Donna's Bitty Blossoms dies.
To finish off my canvas, I added gorgeous Zva Creative pearls to my chipboard flourish.

Until next time!

Two Hearts, One Soul

Hi friends! Today I have the honor of sharing a layout I made as a Guest Designer at Scrap Africa, a site that holds different types of challenges.
I was given this lovely sketch to work with.  If you look closely at my layout, I used stitched circles to portray the circles in the sketch.  The papers I used are by Pion Design.  I combined two different collections - Fairytale of Spring and Studio of Memories.  All of the papers I used for this layout are available in my shop.
The gorgeous cream-colored flower is a Resin Briar Rose from Handmade Halo.  The bottom is perfectly flat so it is easy to adhere to any project.  I love the realistic look of it! The couple in the photo is my dad and step-mom.  :o)
...such a beautiful quote. The gorgeous Decorative Scroll surrounding the photos is made by The Dusty Attic.  It is a double-layered chipboard element that is adhered together to create this 3 dimensional look.  I added pearls to further decorate this ornate piece.
The two center flowers are made from Bitty Blossoms dies by Spellbinders.  The chipboard heart button is also made by The Dusty Attic.
The title is made up of letters cut from the Pion Design cut-out sheet and chipboard words.
I tried to make the background detailed, yet subtle.  I splattered a touch of sky blue paint to bring out the blue in the papers.  I used an ink and stencil to create a tile texture, and I stitched designs onto the background.

These pearls are manufactured by Zva Creative.  I love the quality of their pearls/bling.

Thanks for visiting today!

Remember

Hi everyone!  Natasha here with a layout I made a while back using Bo Bunny's gorgeous 'Little Miss' collection.  Green is my favorite color and I love how the peach complements the green in these papers.  The picture is of myself.  :o)
These inspirational sayings were cut from the papers and are the reason why I titled my layout, 'Remember'.  They are nice reminders to myself.
The large flower is my Romantique Rose made from Rose Creations dies.  You can find the tutorial HERE.  The pink and yellow flowers were made from Bitty Blossoms dies.
The chipboard title, doily and vine flourish below are made by The Dusty Attic.
The leaves on the Vine Flourish were painted with acrylic paint, and the entire piece was sprayed with ink.

The peach resin flowers tucked in my flower clusters are from Handmade Halo.  They carry a lovely variety of embellishments!

Have a great week!

A Daughter...

Hi everyone!  This is a layout I made using the beautiful Botanique collection by Donna Salazar.  I love the subtle colors of these papers!
This hand-made flower is my Cabbage Rose made from Donna's Rose Creations dies.  You can find the tutorial HERE.
The stitched flower in the background is a die-cut from these same dies that I adhered and stitched onto the background.
The pink flowers were made from Bitty Blossoms die cuts.  They are so easy to make!
These Dusty Attic chipboard alphas were painted white and lightly distressed with ink.  I wanted the title to blend into the background yet still be legible.
... another Dusty Attic chippie that was painted white and covered in Fairy Dust glitter.  You don't need to have super-duper chipboard alteration skills to use chippies on your projects.  A touch of ink, paint or glitter will do just fine!  Even bare chipboard elements are beautiful!
Beneath the punched edge, I adhered a lovely piece of vintage lace.
... more hand-made flowers.
The doily in the background is also made of chipboard.
The circle embellies were cut from Spellbinders dies and layered/stitched together.  Yes, I am a bit addicted to Spellbinders dies!  They are so convenient and make creating a breeze!

 Thanks for visiting today!
Much love & hugs... xoxo

Sunshine Baby & More Chances to Win!

Hello again!  This is a simple layout I made using Bo Bunny's Country Garden collection.  I guess I was feeling bright & happy when I made this!  Love Bo Bunny papers!
The photo is of my daughter when she was a baby.  She always knew how to make me smile... even during my tough days.  :o)
These chipboard letters (Bookman ABC Set DA0666) were painted to match the papers.  I added a few hand-stitched lines to underline the title.
I tucked in this chipboard border beneath a layer of paper.  And YES... it's naked!  I actually used bare chipboard!  LOL.
I LOVE using metal charms!  All of the gorgeous metal pieces are from Handmade Halo.  They have such a great variety!
... more flowers, another lovely charm, hemp cord and chicken wire chipboard...
Love these squooshy mushy flowers by Mistra!  Click HERE for the tutorial.
See the cute little resin dahlia behind the large flower?  That is also from Handmade Halo.  They have the BEST resin flowers!
I also snuck in a little lacing and a few eyelets.  :o)

The Halloween Contest Continues!

Hi there!  This layout was created with some of my favorite products!  Playtime is even better when you use products you love.  The papers are from Pion Designs' Studio of Memories Collection.
This little frame is actually a Dusty Attic ATC frame that I flipped sideways to frame my title.
Look at this gorgeous Green Tara lace!  It is one of my favorites!  I tucked a few pieces under the distressed edges of my layout.
I found this quote on Pinterest and it accurately describes my life.  As a young adult, I think we all had an "idea" of where we would end up in 10 years, but life always holds unexpected surprises.  I have come to realize that I am happy where I am, and although some days can be a struggle, I know I am on the right path.  :o)
I love to combine an assortment of different types of flowers.  The white cherry blossom and the cream rose are made by Green Tara.  The little spiral bloom is a hand-made Bitty Blossom made using the Spellbinders die set, and the tiny blue flower and the metal leaves are from Handmade Halo.
Here you can see more of the assortment of flowers.  The largest flower was made using my friend, Mistra's, flower tutorial found HERE.  She makes awesome smooshy flowers!
In between the flowers I tucked a few skeleton leaves to accent this floral cluster.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Please visit my blog for a full product list.

My Heart

Hi everyone!  This is a layout I created using papers by My Mind's Eye.  The photos are of my daughter when she was a baby.  I miss those days!
The background was splattered with paint and distressed with a stamp and embossing powder.
These Dusty Attic chippies were painted, inked with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays and embossed with LSG embossing powder.  These embossing powders have a lovely glimmer to them.
I made this flower using Mistra Hoolahan's flower tutorial that can be found HERE.
The smaller flower was made using the Bitty Blossoms dies by Spellbinders, and the apple blossoms are Green Tara flowers.
The butterflies are also manufactured by Green Tara.
All of the stitching on this layout was done by hand.  I stitched around the hearts to further define them.
That's all for today!  Have a wonderful week!
