Altered Beach Lantern

Today I have for you a Christmas card in an interesting combination of white, soft blue and natural brown. In the middle of my card I placed a snow globe, created by the help of metal dies. Far Far Away Altered Clipboard

Hello there Snip Art Fans!!! Farrel here to share another mixed media project with you all. 

Now that we are into December, usually we would be planning trips to spend with family and friends for Christmas but unfortunately with the situation that a lot of us are in, that's just not possible.... and that's where I got my inspiration from for this project. I miss not being able to travel and thought the next best thing would be to create a project about travel instead.

I bought the clipboard from a dollar store and used a wood grain tool for the background. I stenciled the background using modeling paste and Snip Art's Text stencil. I then applied Gold Crackle Paste and let dry.

I painted all my chipboard pieces with 3 acrylic paint colours - Cream, Red and Blue. I then adhered them to my clipboard. I also painted the metal clip with cream paint.

Once the glue had dried, I than covered the whole project with Vintage Paste and using a baby wipe, I very gently wiped away the paste until I was happy with the result. To finish off the project I added a metal embellishment to the clip.

Kamieniczki / Tenement houses

 Witajcie kochani!
Dzielę się z Wami dzisiaj nietypowym wieszakiem na klucze. Kiedy tylko zobaczyłam projekt kamieniczek od razu wiedziałam, że chce stworzyć właśnie taki kolorowy projekt. Nie byłam pewna których dokładnie kolorów chce użyć, dlatego nakładałam czasem różne farby, aż docelowo wykorzystałam Impasto nakładane gąbką. To pozwoliło mi uzyskać charakterystyczną fakturę. Następnie wymiziałam je gesso, dodałam cienie z pomocą rozwodnionej brązowej farbki akrylowej i dodałam wosk aby wydobyć odrobinę blasku. Okienka pokryłam biały embossingiem.  Podstawą konstrukcji jest sosnowa deska, którą pokryłam gesso, pastą strukturalną, impasto a następnie przetarłam pastą bitumiczną i woskami.
Na koniec przykręciłam wieszaki od spodu i włala! Projekt gotowy!
Zapraszam Was z całego serca do zabawy z tymi kamieniczkami, bo są na prawdę cudowne.

I would like to share with you my key hanger with stunning houses that SnipArt lately relased. When I saw them I knem I need to create mini colorful tenement houes. I wasn't sure which colors I should use so I had some trials and need to recolor them. There was a little work to do but I had funtastic fun while making them. The base of whole project is pine block. I made some structure by structure paste, colored it with brown impasto paint and cover with waxes, at the end of creating whole composition I ad three hangers on the bottom. Houses where also colored with impasto paints using sponge to create some structure as well. I emboss the windows and made some shades on the edges by acrylic brown paint and cover it with waxe to make some shine. I hope to inspire you to use those houses. I simply love them from the first sight!
This is the first of few little towns I made so look out for them :)
