Penny Black Saturday Challenge - AG and Optional Easter

I'm joining the March Anything Goes challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  I recently ordered this fabulous scene stamp called Calm Waters.   It's a large stamp in red rubber that stamps beautifully and large enough to stand alone.

The image was stamped onto a Gelli Print base and wet embossed with clear powder.  Green Memento ink was sponged for the grass.  A simple birthday sentiment completes the card.

My Favorite Things Slimline Challenge - December Mini Slimline

I'm joining the current Slimline challenge at MFT which is Anything Goes with a mini slimline size.  My finished card is 3x6.  I enjoy this size and the adorable Happy Pumpkin Season set worked perfectly for this size.

The images were stamped then masked to stamp the cobble street road from On Solid Ground.  In hindsight, the brick might have been a better choice but I like the look of the cobblestones!   With the images masked, I used Memento ink to blend the sky.  I removed the mask and colored the images with Copic Markers.  A sentiment from the set finishes the scene.

Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero - The Great Outdoors

I'm joining the current Hero Arts challenge with a tropical scene featuring Waterfall Heroscape stamp set.

This was my first time using this set.  It was SO easy and I love the results.  The tropical waterfall scene reminds me of the Hawaiian islands.  Hubby and I are looking forward to a trip to Kauai soon.  This scene really makes me anxious for our trip!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - June Option of Transport

I'm playing along with the Penny Black Saturday Challenge featuring a couple of Penny Black sets - Panoramic 40-814 and Hugs! 30-020.

I started by stamping the scene using Panoramic and my Misti.  The card base was created using the ink smooshing technique and water color paper.

The sweet balloon (transport option) and mouse image was stamped, colored and fussy cut then added to the scene.  I really like the scene building images in the PB Panoramic set.  I will be creating with it again soon!

I kept the design simple and will add the appropriate sentiment when a card is needed.

Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #24 For the Guys

I'm joining the current Stay Crafty with Hero challenge with a birthday scene.  My card features Hero Arts Color Layering Pier at the Lake clear stamp set.

I started the card with a Gelli Plate print using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  Images from the set were stamped in black Versafine Claire and Adirondack inks.  This is a really fun set!

Gerda Steiner SYD and AAA Cards #191 No Layers + Hexagons

Good morning!  I'm sharing a fun No Layer birthday card featuring Gerda Steiner Designs.  I combined a couple of sets to create my scene - Chicken Scratch and Dachshunds.

I started by stamping the chicken on kraft card stock.  I applied a mask then stamped a retired Stampin' Up! Chicken Wire background stamp.  The scene was colored with Prismacolor pencils.  So FUN!

Art Impressions Challenge #280 Kid At Heart

I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge "Kid at Heart" with this playful scene featuring Got Style.

The image was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I created my scene with a Cityscape Nightline die from Memory Box and cloud paper from my stash.  A few hand drawn hash lines on gray cardstock makes a road!
