Love Letters From Jane

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful new Love Letters collection from Relatively Thoughtful, and a tutorial from Paul Lang-Ford (Papercrafting with Paul)

The tutorial is available for everyone to watch for free, so I'm not going to go into how this was made, except to say that it's very clever, and fits perfectly into a 6x6 envelope.
I've cut and matted my layers from the Love Letters papers. The two 4x3s are from the Stamperia Romance Forever 8x8 collection that Sally has in the store.
I've also die-cut a sentiment for one of the panels.
And here it is! It stands up beautifully and then folds perfectly to fit the envelope. Paul really is a genius with his card theory and measurements.
These papers are just so pretty!
And the Romance Forever collection co-ordinates perfectly.
I've added a few pearls and gems for decoration.
And of course, a bit of stitching just to finish it all off.
As always, the collection is available in both A4 papers, and a digital download.

Here's Alice Again

Good morning, a very happy Sunday. I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We took our decorations down yesterday, and the house looks really bare now. It also means that I have to dust again, I can't just hide it all behind the cards lol.

I've made some clusters for my first project of the year for Relatively Thoughtful. Until a couple of months ago I didn't know what clusters were, but they are handy for adding to mini albums, either for journaling, or just something pretty to look at.

I started by choosing my papers, cut-aparts and die cuts from the Alice In Wonderland collection.

Then I played around with the layers and images.

This is what they look like in the Alice Album.

You can buy the collection here in the store.
Take care, stay warm, and enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Alice - Not Just For Christmas

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I've mixed up a couple of my favourite Relatively Thoughtful collections from this year, and made an Alice Christmas Card.

Yeah, Alice and the Cheshire Cat weren't originally wearing Santa hats or bright red bow ties. I don't know why, I guess Sally just didn't think about it lol.
I started by cutting out my layers (yes of course I gut my papers do you KNOW the price of postage!!). To be honest all of my cards are always large letters, and sometimes it's a struggle to get them in the envelopes. I attached my hats and bows to the Alice images, then backed them onto some black card to give them a bit more strength.
Rockin' the look!
Always blame the cat!
I absolutely love the blues in the Not Just For Christmas collection.
As always the collections are available in both digital and A4 Craft Packs

I hope you like my mixed-up card, and that your own Christmas preparations are coming along well.
Take care and have a very happy weekend xx

An Egyptian Dream

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Just to have a little break from Christmas crafting, I've chosen one of my favourite Relatively Thoughtful collections and made a floating centre panel card, following a tutorial from Paul Ford (Papercrafting With Paul)

The colours are much brighter in real life, but we've reached the time of year when there is no sunshine here.
Isn't she beautiful! This image is actually one of the backing papers that I've cut down.
And the following are from one of the cut-apart sheets.
They are so vibrant in real life!
Wish I had eyebrows like this!
As always, the collection is available digitally and as an A4 Craft Pack. I'll include the links to Paul's Facebook group and YouTube account below.

Dachshund Through The Snow

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a Christmas card made with the fabulous Not Just For Christmas collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

Just look at that face, he's such a cutie!

I love all the cut-apart sheets that you get with this collection, and also that they are in the traditional red and green, and also this gorgeous blue.

With so many different sheets you can really go to town with the embellishments.

Beautiful traditional colours.

And quirky sentiments too, what's not to love!

As always the collection is available as both digital and A4 paper collections.

Take care and have a lovely day xx

Well Charming Sherlock!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a couple of boxes from the Sherlock Holmes collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

The boxes come in two sizes. The Small Rectangular Book Box and the Charm Box With Charms.

I love the flexi hinges - they really help keep the boxes together. I've used gilding paste rather than paint to colour the chipboard as it leaves a much thinner layer so all the pieces still slot together.
I've added some stamping to the inside as well. I've also added an ATC sized Mary matted in black to give the silhouette on the front of the box.
And here are some more ATC's to fit in the box.
This is the teeny tiny box that comes with charms.
Again I've used gilding pastes to colour, and these are some of the fabulous charms.
And everything fits perfectly inside!
As always the collection comes in both physical and digital formats.

I hope that you like my boxes. Take care and have a wonderful day xx

Elementary My Dear Watson

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a loaded pocket made with one of my favourite new paper collections Sherlock Holmes from Relatively Thoughtful.
I do love all the old Sherlock Holmes films and television series, but I must confess that the latest BBC one is my favourite. Andrew Scott as Moriarty is just perfect!

The collection is full of backing papers and cut-apart sheets with images and sentiments.
Of course, I had to use a Papercrafting With Paul tutorial to make my stuffed pocket. This was so user-friendly - nice easy measurements lol. I'll put Paul's links at the end. This is the front with two pockets.
And this is the back with a picture of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself.
These are three photo mats that fit into the wallet
And these are the backs. As you can see, Relatively Thoughtful now has stamps - whoo-hoo!!
I made some tags and journalling cards from the cut-apart sheets.
These just fit into the pockets on the front. Is that a bloody handprint that I see.....
Yup, the photo mats fit perfectly. I love these boarders from the cut -apart sheets.
After 'Elementary my dear Watson' this is the quote that I always remember from Holmes.
Here's the very dashing Sherlock Holmes.
And the equally handsome Dr Watson.
As always the collection is available in both digital and paper format.
