Baby Bottle Card

Tracy from the Idea Closet and today's post is in honor of our new little granddaughter, who was born  last week.

My daughter loves to read and I thought it would be nice to give her a Kindle Gift Card, because she will probably have lots of time to read while she is staying up late and rocking the new little one.

I wanted a handmade card to give her but didn't have much time.

I LOVE  the trio cards because they are easy to make and there is lots you can  add to them  as well.

The file I used for this card is the Baby Bottle Trio card from SVG Attic.

I think the little bottles are so adorable.
I used a light blue cardstock for the bottle shape, grey for the "milk" and then cut velum for the bottle top piece.
To finish each bottle, tie a little twine around the neck just under the lid.

For the inside of the card I used a gift card holder that I had in my library from another project.

I am very excite to share this card with my daughter, but even more excited to hold our new little girl.

If you haven't tried one of the trio cards yet, give it a try; I promise you are going to love them.

Thank you for stopping in today

Baby Cards with Beth

Happy Monday morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today with these sweet baby cards.

This baby bottle card svg is from SVG Attic's SDS Rockabye Baby Cards.  It started out as a shaped card, but I wanted it to fit on the front of an A2 card, so I didn't use the shaped card base included in the file, I simply created a shadow layer for under the bottle.  The sentiment was cut with brown vinyl.  The embellishments I used were white Nuvo crystal drops and Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.  Papers are from Craft Smith's Blackberry Lemon paper pad.
The onesie cards were files from JGW Occasional GC Envelopes & Embellishments.  I sized them to be A2, then I created a shaped card base by duplicating the onesie shape and rotating it 180 degrees, then welded the two shapes at the shoulders.
I couldn't decide which style of papers I liked the best, so I made one out of DCWV's Flower Shop stack and one out of DCWV's Meet Me In Paris stack.  Which style do you prefer?  Whimsical or classic flowers?  Either way, I think they turned out sweet.  Now I have a new supply of baby cards in my stash!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Baby Boy Wardrobe

Hi and welcome, everyone!
Lisa from The Relativity of Paper and I'm taking over the blog today with my take on this amazing Wardrobe 3D Box.  As soon as I saw this wardrobe I knew I wanted to do for a Baby Shower.  You could easily make an album and place a gift card in the drawer, so cute!

The paper is About A Little Boy by Photoplay. That adorable giraffe was meant for this wardrobe. While I was putting this together I thought how amazing this would be with a wind-up music box in it, #craftygoals, is all I can say at this point.

I used a Tim Holtz Ideaology Curio Knob, Ornate Plate on the top, and a Keyhole. I used a lot of the stickers from the paper kit and popped them up with 3D mounting foam. A tiny bow with Trendy Twine.
How would you use the wardrobe file?

As always, thanks for joining me and have a great weekend.

HTV Onesie with Beth

Good Monday Morning!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with this onesie I personalized with Heat Transfer Vinyl.  I made it as a gift for a co-worker who recently had a baby.
I used the Flower Split Monogram J from SnapDragon Snippets and cut that out in lavender HTV.  Make sure you flip your image before cutting!  I used my heat press to add that to the onesie first.
Next, I used a font called Siena CG and wrote out the baby's name.  I flipped it in my software and cut it out of purple HTV.  I once again heat pressed it to the onesie.  I think it turned out sweet!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Teddy Bear Baby Card with Beth

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here with you today.  I made this card for my newest niece!
I used the Teddy Bi-Fold card file from SVG Attic's JGW Beary Sweet set.  The papers are from DCWV's Minty Lace stack.  I embellished the card with GMD Watermelon enamel dots, and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.
Here is what the card looks like all opened up...
The inside is even decorated!  I love this file!  It can work well for a boy or a girl.
Here is a look at the set I used from SVG Attic:

Boy, Girl, or Don't know?!

HELLO SVG Attic lovers! DT Sonja here. Today I bring you a combination set I made using the newest 3D Teddy Bear and the new Beary Sweet set.

I am not sure why, but I felt that this would be a great set to give to expectant parents.

So I decided to do a pink, teal, and gender neutral set.

I did downsize the teddy bears, only because well, I didn't want to run to the store for more of the same colored paper!
This last little guy holds a gift card in his tummy. Just pull his head to reveal it!

Mini Album box with Angeline

Happy May!
Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

Angeline here to share with you a box I made for a baby mini album I made for my friend who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. Album here is 6"x6". For more on the album, please visit my blog HERE.

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

Thanks for stopping and have an awesome week ahead!

Trio of Trio Cards with Beth

Hello my crafty friends!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here, and I decided to make three cards since I needed to get more of those made!
First up is a card that is going to my sister and brother-in-law as today they finalize the adoption of their sweet little princess!  It is a great day for all of us :)  The Crown Trio card file comes from the JGW Off To The Ball set.  I popped the center crown up with foam tape and embellished the card with sequins and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack.
Next, I created the Easter Egg trio card that is in the JGW Happy Easter set.  Easter is only a month away and I knew I needed to get motivated on those Easter cards!  The eggs are popped up with foam tape and I added three pearls by the sentiment.  The patterned papers are from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper pad.
Finally, I created the pencil trio card from JGW Campus Capers.  This one will be great to write a note to a teacher or even save it for Teacher Appreciation Week later this spring.
I embossed the pencils with a linear embossing folder, popped the pencils up with foam tape, and added Totally Black Trendy Twine at the bottom to look like writing.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Grade School stack.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Mother's Repose with Lisa

Welcome everyone! Lisa, from The Crafting Cave, with you today and I decided to step out of holiday mode completely with this post. Today I'm sharing a great way for anyone to present a
gift card at a baby shower.

Using JGW Santa's Repose 3D Chair  I created a baby themed chair for an expecting/ new mom.
If you don't have this chair in your arsenal of cut files I highly recommend it. There are some many things you can use it for. Here's a link to show my Halloween version.
A Mother's Repose using SVG Attic JGW Santa's Repose 3D Chair
