Sent With Love & Our Blog Hop Winner!

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a fun little card that I made with the "Sent With Love" set!  I haven't had this set long but it really has become one of my go-tos with it's cute collage image and wonderful sentiments!

I started off with a brown card base that I covered with some map paper and added some film reel ribbon to the left side.  I stamped the collage image onto some card stock, cut it out, and inked/distressed the edges.  I thought it needed some color so I added a few elements I colored in with my Copics.  I finished the card with an oversized ticket that I stamped with one of the sentiment and another of the images from the set.

Happy Summer

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a little summery card with you that I made using "Sweet Taste of Summer."  How has summer been for all of you?  Today is a bit gray but yesterday it was about 95 so we spent the good part of the afternoon in the pool!  It was fun - we got new floaties - but spent a good part of the afternoon shooing wasps and bees away!  Anyone have any remedies for that?  

Anyway, I started off with a peeled wood patterned paper and stamped one of the sentiments from the set into the corner.  I stamped three versions of the little pail and then pieced them in summery colors.  I finished the pails with a bit of Stickles for some shimmer.  I cut out some hexagon shapes from a patterned paper and arranged them onto the card - they reminded me of umbrellas at the beach!

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a card I made with the wonderful Sweet Silhouettes stamp set!  I just adore the images in this set and the frame is compatible with your Spellbinders Labels 10 dies!

I started out with a black card base and used a pretty, dotted paper background.  I stamped the frame, silhouette, and sentiment onto a chalkboard looking card using silver ink and added sequins and pearls to the card.  I layered some crochet trim, twine, and a seam binding bow and finished the card off with a couple of circle embellishments from the same paper collection.

Sending You Smiles

Hello friends, Jennifer here to share a card with you that I made with a "new to me" set - Sent With Love.  I've had my eye on this set for a while and just got it!  Couldn't wait to get it inky!  I just adore the images in this set and think they are perfect for masculine or feminine cards!  I started out making a card for my husband so I chose the chocolates and kraft colors.  

I layered a thick piece of burlap ribbon over the top of a panel of cream cardstock that I stamped with one of the sentiments in the set.  I then stamped the collage image onto some craft cardstock, cut it out, and distressed the edges.  When I placed it on the top of the ribbon, I thought the card needed more so I picked some blush paper roses and added them to the card.  I think the roses make the card a bit too feminine for my husband but perfect for my mom who moved to Oregon late last year and who I miss so much!
