A Kiss...

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today! I love creating Valentine's and this one was so fun to create! I used My Craft Spot's Always And Forever sentiment stamps on this card. This is such a great set with the best sentiments!
I cut the dog from Create A Critter and stamped the face with a Peachy Keen stamp. The letters in his mouth, kiss, and tuft of hair were stamped using Peachy Keen's January SOTM kit. I heat embossed the lips to give it some shine and added the hair. I also used an Xacto knife to cut around his mouth to be able to slip the letters under his teeth. I cut 2 of the base pieces for him and then cut off his head and mounted it to the base with an action wobble.
The scallop heart was cut from Sweethearts and I inked the edges of the inside mat. To finish I added some Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and stamped that adorable sentiment from My Craft Spot's Always And Forever stamp set.

Here is a short video of the Action Wobble in action

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

Day 4 Of My Craft Spots Release Party

Hello everyone! Day 4 of My Craft Spot's sneak peeks, and only 2 days until the full release and BLOG HOP!!! Are you getting excited yet? Make sure you go over to My Craft Spot everyday this week for a daily prize. And come back on Saturday for the Blog Hop where you could win a new stamp from each blog in the hop!
Today we are giving Sneak Peeks of the Bundle Of Joy stamp set. I have to admit that I actually cried when I read some of these sentiments! My only child is getting ready to head off to college and these stamps really touched my heart. Kimberly had created some beautiful stamps in this release!
For my card I created this beautiful scene. And the sentiment is SO true! There's nothing like holding your baby for the first time and realizing that you LOVE them more than anything else.
I cut the "mom" from Sweethearts. She's the girl being proposed too. I sized her really big so just her upper body would show in the frame. The crook of her arm was the perfect place to put a baby. The baby was cut from Winter Frolic (Baby Jesus). I re-sized him a little wider in my Gypsy and stamped the face. I also covered his whole body in twine to make it look like a baby blanket and added his head over the top. The heart mat and scallop frame I cut by hand so I could custom size it to the stamp. I used a pair of scallop scissors to get the scallops. To finish the front I added a punched border strip and some crinkle ribbon with a bow. The inside I stamped the sentiment and added a matching paper strip.

SUPPLIES:
My Craft Spot- Bundle Of Joy Stamp Set, Lemon Divine Twine and Buttercup Crinkle Ribbon
Cricut- Sweethearts and Winter Frolic
Peachy Keen- Happy Lashes ( I used the nose stamped twice, once upside down for the mouth on the baby)
Border Punch, Scallop Decorative Scissors, Sizzix Button Candy Texture Folder
Thanks for stopping in today and don't forget to head over to My Craft Spot for more sneak peeks and the daily prize! Have a great day!

For Eternity

Hello everyone! I have a gorgeous card to show you today that I did with My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After stamp set. I LOVE this set! It's so pretty and I adore the pretty flourishes that come with it. This card is being featured at My Craft Spot today if you want to check out my post there also!
I cut the wedding couple from Sweethearts and the decorative mats from Elegant Edges. I sized the couple very big so just their upper bodies would show in the mat. I assembled all the cuts for the couple, embossing her dress and adding tulle to her veil. I glued them onto the white mat and then trimmed them down from the back along the mat. I embossed the background, hand cut the banner and stamped the sentiment. The inside I also stamped with the sentiment and the flourishes in the corners.

"What's Your Age" My Craft Spot Challenge

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This time the challenge is Birthday "What's Your Age?" You must include a number in your project.
The first thing I want to say about this card is, CAN YOU BELIEVE I DID A CRITTER CARD WITHOUT PEACHY KEEN FACES???  LOL! But it sure did turn out cute even without  PK faces. I did this card with my nephew in mind. He won't be 1 until October, but at least I'm ahead of the game with a card already done.
I started this card by using my Gypsy and welding all the mat pieces together where I wanted them on my card. I then welded a square to the left side of my card so it would be one piece. Then I proceeded to cut all the layers for each cut. I mounted the #1 on pop dots to make it stand out and added a strip of decorative paper to the side and stamped the sentiments. The inside sentiment I stamped strategically to be behind the front of the card.

SUPPLIES
My Craft Spot- Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
Cricut Carts- Create A Critter: giraffe, hippo, palm tree. Sweethearts: monkey. Paper Doll Dress Up: grass. Birthday Bash: Number 1.
I hope you all will play along in the challenge. Please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created for your inspiration. I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a great day!

Sweet Friend Gift Bag

Hello everyone! I have a gift bag to show you all today that I made for my SIL. She is not only my SIL, but my very best friend!
I made a Box In A Bag...I know, it sounds funny but thats really what it's called. I found a tutorial HERE if you would like to make one yourself. I absolutely LOVE how this bag turned out! And I am VERY disappointed that my pictures do not show it's true colors! No matter what I did, it just wouldn't play nice when I was photographing it. LOL! It is alot pinker in person.
After I made the bag I added a punched border strip to the bottom and added brown crinkle ribbon over the top. The flourish was cut from Sweethearts. I didn't use the whole cut, just the flourish part. I used a Viva Decor pearl pen and added all the dots to the flourish. I also added pearl brads around it instead of the hearts. The sentiment tag was made using Fiskars punches and I also used the Viva pearl pen for the dots and on the hearts. The sentiment was stamped from Whimsical Designs Everyday Sentiments. To finish I added the handles which are wire edged ribbon and added bigger pearl brads.
I am going to enter this into the following challenges:
1. My Craft Spot's Monday challenge: Girly Girl Projects
2. RRRR- Pink and Brown with ribbon

The puppy was also cut from Sweethearts and I stamped the face with the Ballin Bunnies face from the Peachy Keen Sampler Faces set. Monkey Love

Hello everyone! This is the card that I made for the Simply Crafts challenge. This time the challenge is to use the tree from Sweethearts.
Of course I COULD NOT help it but to use the so so cute monkey from the cart too! This cut is my ALL TIME FAVORITE from all the carts that I own! LOL! It's just SO CUTE!
I cut the tree at 4 inches and stamped the pink layer with the X's and O's stamp from Whimsical Designs With Love set to create the "leaves". The monkeys were cut at 1.5 inches and I used a black pen for the faces. I also added eyelashes to the girl monkey and added a twine bow. For the heart leaves at the bottom of the tree I punched them from a heart punch and layered them at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the tree and also added more X's and O's to the side. To finish I added a ribbon. This is the card that I am going to give to my hubby for Valentine's Day! Here is the picture of the stamp set I used. I LOVE the tiny xoxoxo stamp!

The squirrel was cut from Birthday Bash at 3.5 inches and I stamped the face with a Peachy Keen Wide eyed and Bushy Tailed face stamp. The flowers were cut from Sweethearts at 2 inches and I added a bow and used a Viva Decor Pearl Pen to add the dots in the center of the flowers. To create the photo I cut a 2.75 X 2.75 inch square for the picutre part and a 3 X 3.5 inch for the mat. I glued the squirrel to the 2.75 inch square and trimmed him to fit inside. I inked around all the edges and stamped the sentiment which is from Whimsical Designs With Love stamp set.
For the tickets I printed a blank digi that I can't remember where I found and stamped the sentiment which is also from Whimsical Designs With Love set. I inked around the edges and added them to the card using a heart paper clip. To finish I added 3 buttons to the corner of the card.

Happy Day

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for several challenges. The first is More Than Favors CCCC challenge which is to use Sweethearts. The second is for My Craft Spots Monday Challenge which is " Sew Much Fun" use some sort of stitching on your project.
I want to take a second and give a BIG shout out to Kimberly at My Craft Spot! I won several items in her new stamp release blog hop this last week and I just want to say THANK YOU! So THANKS AGAIN KIMBERLY!
For my card I cut the scallop frame and mat from Accent Essentials. I used my sewing machine and stitched the black line around the white frame and used a white and black pen for the other stitching. I cut the girl on scooter from Sweethearts and used a white and black pen for highlights. I embossed the basket with The Paper Studio's Mesh Texture folder and added punched flowers to the scooter and the girls hair. The little dog was cut from Four Legged Friends and I put him in the basket and stamped the sentiment. I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

Inspiring Words

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Whimsical Wednesdays! This week the challenge is "Inspiring Words". Make a card/project using one of the words from the picture as your inspiration and you must use that word in your project.
For my card I chose to do a wedding card. To me, all of the words in the photo represent a marriage.
I used my Gypsy to weld together 2 hearts from Sweethearts and their shadows. The "Love" was also cut from Sweethearts twice. I layered all the images with pop dots to give it some dimension because this is an all white card and I wanted them to stand out. I embossed the background of the card with the Cuttelbug Textile folder and added a ribbon to the bottom. It was a very simple card to make, but I think that it is very elegant looking. This is actually going to my sister for her wedding card in a couple of weeks.
I hope you liked my card and will play along this week! Barb from BugBites is the sponsor for this challenge and you will be playing for her NEW All Year Round Stamp Set! This is such a cute set! If you haven't seen it yet, just click on the link and check it out!
Also if you didn't notice that cute badge on my sidebar, Whimsical Wednesdays is having a Halloween Blog Hop on Oct.7th, SO MARK YOUR CALENDERS! Your not going to want to miss this!
Have a great day and I can't wait to see what you will create!

CTO Challenge # 27

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is " Any Occasion" but you must make a CIRCLE SHAPED card.
My card base and layers was cut from Birthday Bash at 5 inches. The inner white circle I used my hole punch and punched holes to make it look like a doiley. The banner was also cut from BB at 2 inches and I cut off the bird. The puppy was cut from Sweethearts at 3 inches and I used a black and white pen to do some highlighting. The horn in his mouth is also from BB that I flipped and cut at 2 inches. To finish I stamped the sentiment, added some twine to the banner, and used a white gel pen to do some stitching around the outside of the card.
I hope you all like my card and will play along this week. I can't wait to see what you will create!
Have a great day!
I am going to enter this into Fantabulous Cricuts Challenge #47 this week which is to make a birthday project.

Mini Baby Book

Happy Sunday everyone! I have a mini album to show you today. My brother and his wife are having their first baby at the end of October and I wanted to make a mini album for them. This will be my FIRST nephew/niece from one of my brothers or sister, so I am extremely exited!
All the paper I used  is from the DCWV Baby Boy Stack and I made the book using my Bind It All.
For the cover I cut the monkey from Sweethearts and the name from Robots. The alligator, giraffe, little bird on the turtle, and bee were cut from Create A Critter. The elephant was cut from Cricut Sampler and the turtle was cut from Walk In My Garden.
The DCWV stack I used had all these cute sayings with pictures and journaling box's, so I cut them apart, matted them, and placed them on the pages. I added ribbon to some pages and also a button with twine tied through it.
I am so proud of this book! I think it turned out adorable and I hope they will love it as much as I do!

No Monkey Buisness

Hello everyone! Here is the card that I made for More Than Favors CCCC challenge. This week the challenge is to use Sweethearts.
I made my card using the scallop square from Accent Essentials in my Gypsy by welding 2 together. For the mats I used the rounded square from George and Basic Shapes. One I cut slightly smaller for the mat. I cut the monkey from Sweethearts. I chalked all around his body and his cheeks. I used a white and black pen to do the highlights and mounted his face on pop dots. The bananas were cut from Smiley Cards and I chalked around the edges, used a white gel pen and a brown colored pencil for the hightlights. I also mounted the bananas on pop dots. To finish I did dots around the outside of the card, stamped the sentiment, and hung the monkey from some chocolate truffle twine.
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for looking!

CTO Challenge # 13

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Celebrate The Occasion! This week the challenge is to make a wedding card and you must include a ribbon. I hope you will play along.

For my card I wanted something simple yet elegant. I think I achieved what I was going for. This card is actually pretty big... 4 1/4 by 8 1/2. I cut the cake from Sweethearts at 3 inches. I cut all the layers in white and colored in some of it with a silver pen. I embossed it with Swiss Dots folder and pop dotted the cake layers. I embossed 3/4 of the background paper with the Sizzix Twizzle folder and tied a ribbon at the end of the embossing. To finish I stamped the sentiment. I hope you all will give this challenge a try and I can't wait to see what you'll create! Have a wonderful day and thanks for looking.
