You're The Bee's Knees Lip Balm Card

Hi everyone! I got my NEW Peachy Keen stamps  in the mail and couldn't help but play...especially with the smell of Peachies in the house! I miss that smell and am so happy Kathy decided to make the New  Digital On The Pond stamps into physical stamps!
There in a limited supply of the physical stamps so don't hesitate! If you want them, get them now before they're all gone.

I made up this fun lip balm card

I started this project with the Jaded Blossom Folding Gift Card Die and cut it out of white cardstock.
I then added score lines around the center die cut line and used an xacto knife to cut the slits. Then I slid the lip balm in.

I added a piece of decorative cardstock to the front and the beehive from an old Peachy Keen stamp set.
I stamped the bee, stitched line and sentiment from the PK-02 On The Pond Package 4 stamp set.
I colored the bee with Copic markers and  cut the sentiment banner using the Mini Tag Dies 2, adding them on pop dots.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Spider Web Treat Bag and Tutorial

Hi everyone! It's my day to post at Jaded Blossom and I have a fun project to share along with a short tutorial.

I made this fun treat bag using the NEW Spidey Senses stamp set for the spider. Sometimes for people who are not colorers, these stamps can be intimidating so I wanted to share a fun way to create them in different colors using simple supplies.

 Supply List
Spidey Senses Stamp set
Cutting Machine
Colored Paper
Ink to match paper colors
Scissors
White Gel Pen
Versa Marker Pen

Step 1
Stamp your spiders onto the colored SVG Cutouts.( If you don't have a machine to cut them, you can always cut them by hand.)
Stamp faces onto scrap pieces

Step 2
Cut out the faces with scissors
Ink the edges of the face and center of bodies

Step 3
Using the Versa Mark Pen, color the legs, cheeks and dot the body.
Using the white gel pen, add dots to body and color in teeth

Step 4
Pop dot the head to the body. Now you have a fun spider and are ready to create with him!

I used him for this fun treat bag I made using the Goody Bag Die.

I cut the bag out and added the mat layer before gluing it together. I then cut out the web outline using the Halloween Die's through both layers and then assembled the bag adding some velumn behind. I cut another web and glued that to the front of the velum and added the sentiment tag. I cut the sentiment tag using the Panel Die's and stamped the sentiment from the Pick Your Poison and the web from the Spidey Senses
To finish, I added my fun little spider.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Post It Note Holder and Tutorial

Hi everyone! It's my day to post at Jaded Blossom and I have a fun  Post It Note holder and short tutorial to share.

Here is the project I made for today

Isn't this cute?! I love that adorable worm!
Today I am going to show you how I made this using the Jaded Blossom Lollipop Die. It is the PERFECT size for post it notes!

Here is what you will need

Jaded Blossom-
Score Board
Sticky Back Hook and Loop circles
Decorative papers and die cut
Post It Notes

You will start by cutting out the Lollipop Die.
Then you will score it with the scallop side to the right, at 6 1/2 and 6 7/8 inches. Fold along those score lines on the scallop side and the first 2 score lines on opposite side.
Glue in a Post It Note pack to the back side of the Lollipop Die.
Now you're ready to decorate!

I cut out a piece of blue cardstock to fit the font flap and stamped the background with the Paint Splatter 2.
I cut the worm from the PPPR Bookworm Couple file and stamped the eyes with the Peachy Keen Erkle and Merkle face stamps.
I cut the ruler and clipboard from decorative paper and glued them on. (This paper is from the Doodlebug Take Note 6X6 pad)
To finish, I cut the Flag Die 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Encouragement stamp set. I cut this die down to fit the exact width of the post it note holder, gluing onto the flap just above the scallop border. I added the Hook and Loop tab to the flap for the closure.
(OPTIONAL-If you want to cover the score marks on back of holder, add another piece of cardstock cut to size)

I am going to enter this into the PPPR Smarty Pants Challenge.

I hope you all liked my project and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

I stamped the paint splatters on the background using the Paint Splatters stamp set and the flowers from the Our Lil' Stinker stamp set.
I used my I-Rock to glue the gems to the centers of the flowers and stamped the skunk. I colored him with Copic Markers and cut him out.
I cut the sentiment banner using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Our Lil' Stinker stamp set.

As an extra bonus, I also have a fun tutorial for you today. You can see all the tutorials in the "TUTORIAL" tab on upper link bar.

And now for my project of Annie!

I started this project with the SVG Cutting Files Side Cut Card-Lacy. I cut it out using my Cameo and added a background mat.
I cut the decorative mat using the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die and stamped hearts around the edge. I colored the hearts with Copic markers and used a black pen to do the stitching lines.
I stamped and colored Annie with Copic markers and added her on pop dots.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added a ribbon with bow.

Copic Colors Used
Flesh- E51, E21, R20
Hair- E51, Y21, YR23
Clothes- BG01, B000, 0, W7, W5

I also made a tutorial of how I did her hair! I wanted to show you that it's not as hard as you might think to color hair. As with anything, practice makes perfect.

1. Using E51, color in the center pieces of her hair.
2. Using a "flicking" motion from the part lines out about half way, add in the Y21.
3. Using the same flicking motion, add YR23 over what you just did only about 1/4 of the way.
4. Using the Y21, blend over all her hair with flicking motions til it looks smooth.

*FLICKING*
Flicking is when you lay your marker down at the part line and then lift up at the same time as going out.

Make sure to head over to the Stamp AnnieThing Blog to see the other fab creations from the DT.

I hope you all liked my card and I will see you back tomorrow for our final sneak peek and release!
Have a great day!

Snow/Sky Background Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing a tutorial for a snow/sky background.

Here is a pic of the card we will be making today.

SUPPLIES
Peachy Keen- PK-1443 Faceless Penguins
Chalk Ink in light blue
Stamping blender brush
Scrap paper
Scissors
Copic Markers

To start with the background, I stamped the tree from the Faceless Flake and Christmas Tree stamp set onto my card mat to the left side. I also hand cut a piece of white scrap paper for the stencil line for the snow.
Place the scrap piece of white over your card in the center and ink up the blender brush with the chalk ink. Using circular motions, ink in the sky with the blending brush. It's ok to go onto the tree a little as long as you're using a light color.
When the sky is all inked in, remove the white scrap paper and there you have it! A snow/sky background!

Now you will color the tree on the background, and stamp and color the extra tree and penguin. Cut them out with scissors along with another piece of scrap white for the snow. This doesn't have to be perfect, snow comes in all shapes and sizes LOL! Do make sure it is the width of your card mat though.
Ink the edges of your small snow piece with the blue and then you're ready to assemble.

I mounted the second tree, penguin, and snow on pop dots to give this card lots of depth. After it's all put together, the last thing to do is stamp on the sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments stamp  set.

Here is the card all finished.

I hope you all enjoyed my tutorial and will try this technique for yourself!
Thanks for visiting and Happy Stamping!

Monochromatic Collage Card and Tutorial

SVG CUTTING FILES POST JUST BELOW

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Peachy Keen Stamps and I am sharing a tutorial on how to make a monochromatic collage card.

Here is a picture of the supplies I used:
Copic Markers- C0 and C3
Paper Trimmer

You will cut the layers for your card
Standard A2 Card Base- 4 1/4 X 5 1/2-White
Next layer will be slightly smaller than card base - Gray
4 X 5 1/4- Black
3 3/4 X 5- White

Next you are going to cut apart your inside white mat.
 With the 5 inch side up, cut at 3 1/4 inches. Then turn that piece and cut at 2 1/2 inches. This will leave you with a 2 1/2 X 3 1/4 and a 1 1/4 X 3 1/4
The next layer you will line up with the 3 3/4 inch side up and cut at 1 1/2 inches.
This will leave you with a 1 1/2 X 1 3/4 and 2 1/4 X 1 3/4

Now you will stamp the images onto the white pieces and color  the images with the gray Copic markers.

All that's left to do is to assemble your card
Carefully line up your mat pieces on the black mat making sure that there is an even line around all the edges and glue down.
Next, glue onto the gray mat and repeat onto the white card base.

And there you have it! A fun monochromatic collage card!
I hope you all enjoyed my tutorial today and have inspired you to try one of these yourself.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Matchbook Halloween Treats-Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at Jaded Blossom and I am sharing some fun Halloween treats along with a short tutorial. These are super easy to make using the Jaded Blossom Dies and they would be so cool to hand out to kids.

I kept the design simple so you can whip these up in no time. You can also change up the colors and add any kind of candy packets you wanted such as M&M's or Reeces Pieces. I chose to work with Skittles.

DIRECTIONS
Cut black cardstock at 3 X 7 1/2 inches
Score at 3 inches and 6 1/2 inches
Place your candy in the cover tucking it under the 1 inch flap. Then you will staple the flap closed catching the candy wrapper in between. Make sure to staple towards the bottom so you are able to tuck your flap in, but also make sure it's high enough so your mat piece covers the staple.

Now you are going to cut your mat pieces and add the decorations.
This turned out to be the PERFECT size to use with the Card Mat Dies.

Cut white with Card Mat Die
Cut second mat at 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches.
(I wanted the stitching from the Card Mat Die to show, so I cut mine slightly smaller than the 2 1/2)
For flap cut a 3/4 X 2 3/4 inch

Next I cut out the spiders and webs using the Halloween Dies and glued them on.
The sentiment mat was cut using the Mini Tag Dies 2 and it was matted in black with a
3/4 X 2 3/4 inch piece of black. The sentiment is stamped from the Halloween Candy Wraps.
To finish, I added a punched web to the inside of the cover. I glued it to the candy wrapper (this way it will fit under the flap) placing it under the flap.

And there you have it!
I hope you all liked my project and have inspired you to try  these for yourself!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
