Another addition to the Hockenson rainbow

I saw this beauty on eBay and I was able to snag it via buy it now.  One more down for the rainbow, 12 more to go; 15 more to go if you count 1/1s (does not count printing plates).  I did recently pass on a Kittle red circles I need for another rainbow.  😖

I'm currently working on (and that's probably a stretch to say that) on 3 rainbows.  I don't include 1/1 printing plates, and with as long as this is taking me, probably won't include 1/1s, although I'm not ruling them out, for the right price, of course.  😜

Top 5 TTMs of 2024

When I set myself reminders, I do well and again this year I set a monthly reminder to send out TTMs.  I was successful every month this year!  I have been sending out more Panini products to MiLB players because I love the college uniforms.  Here's to more TTMs in 2025!

5.  John Orton - A rookie catcher during my peak years of collecting when I was a kid.

4. Jeff Juden - Same as John Orton, but I always love an autograph on a card featuring a uniform other than MLB.

3.  Ryan Helsley - Stud reliever for the Cardinals.

2. Ezequiel Tovar - A argument could be made for this guy to possibly be the best player for the Rockies right now.  Plus I love the Heritage card.

1. Todd Zeile - Another rookie during my childhood collecting years, plus a former Cub, but I only have 1 Cub card and that's in my mega collection.

Top 5 cards I bought in 2024

I started the year off strong going to the monthly card shows here in town, but the summer and fall were busy with traveling for work, so I haven't gone much lately.  However, I relied on the card show, eBay, COMC and Sportslots to help me fill some needs in my PCs.

2. Caitlin Clark - I don't buy too many Bowman or Topps Now cards, but this was a moment where I had to have one.

1.  Caitlin Clark - I bought this at the monthly card show and I'm glad I did because her cards are not cheap, and don't appear to be getting any cheaper in the near future!

Top 5 "hits" of 2024

 hese are the best hits (in my opinion) that I bought from blaster boxes, hangers, etc. from product purchased in 2024.  It was a struggle to buy blaster boxes, fat packs, etc. this year, so I had to supplement most of my PCs through card shows this year.

5.  Kris Bryant - A forever PC player.

4. Jimmy Rollins - always nice to get an autograph hit.

3. Paul Skenes - One of my few Scenes cards.

2. Jackson Holliday - Hit both of these out of the same box. 

1.  Junior Caminero - Big, big hit!  Definitely the hit of the year!

Top 5 cards I traded for in 2024

 I was doing great at trading earlier this year, but then too many work trips got in the way.  I hope to start off the new year right with getting back on track with trading.
