 The current TTM's I have sent out have come back very quickly, which is very exciting!  I'm in the process of getting ready to decorate my office, and my TTM display will have some new cards now.

This next one was long written off.  In fact, when we moved this summer, I extended my mail being forwarded for a year, just in case I had some tardy TTMs coming my way.  I'm trying to decide if I should do one more year; that would take me into 2023.  We will see how many TTMs I get back in the next 10 months or so.  Unfortunately, the Heritage came back with a ding in the top right corner.

It's been a slow TTM summer

I guess it's really my own fault, I haven't been able to send out many TTM envelopes due to an increase in job hours.  But, I have gotten to back in the last couple of months.  Slow, but it's better than none.

A surprise TTM envelope!

I got a couple of PWE full of TTM requests back this week.  One was a huge surprise!  I can't even find on my log sheet when I sent it, but it has to be a long time ago because the forever stamp was a plant, it had my maiden name on it and it was in a large envelope instead of a small one.  If I had to guess, I'd say I sent it in 2012ish.

Bryson Brigman is in the Marlins minor league system.  He was traded to the Marlins from the Mariners at the trade deadline last year.  I sent this request to the Arizona Fall League.  I sent one card and got three back!

Anthony Bass

I was starting to get a little nervous, as I've seen fellow TTM'ers start to get mail back.  Finally, my day was yesterday, and I got the one I sent to Cubs spring training camp.  Anthony Bass is a non-roster invitee to Cubs camp.  So far in spring training, he's pitched 4 innings, and has struck out 5 batters.

Taylor Jungmann

After reading about Taylor Jungmann's 2017 season, I was surprised to get this one back.  I'm shocked it didn't get hung up in Milwaukee.  Taylor made the Brewers opening day roster, however, spent only 4 days with the big league team (and one poor pitching outing) and was sent to AA Biloxi.

Christian Colon

Christian Colon is a former Royal, who was a big part of their 2015 World Series championship team.  He was released by the Royals earlier this year, and claimed by the Marlins.  He has spent most of his time with the Marlins with their AAA team, New Orleans.  He did not get a September 1 call up to the big club.

Garin Cecchini

Garin Cecchini signed a free agent contract with the Royals over the winter.  He is a non-roster invitee to the Royals Spring Training camp.  Garin will probably start the year at AAA Omaha.  He has a brother, Gavin Cecchini, who is with the Mets.

Josh Hamilton

I sent another request to Josh Hamilton last season.  I really wanted to get a Lineage card signed from him, and he helped me out.  Josh has signed a minor league contract with the Rangers going into Spring Training.  I wish him the best of luck!

Obviously, the title gives it away.  When I opened up this particular TTM envelope, I couldn't believe it.  I remembered sending cards to Alex White, but I couldn't remember when.  I had guessed it was somewhere around two years old, but it has been over 4 years when I checked my spreadsheet.  And, it was to the Rockies Spring Training!  I am ecstatic to have these back; I had sent this out at a time when I was thinking about collecting 2010 Topps Pro Debut autographs.  Needless to say, that goal did not last long.

Jeremy Hellickson

I know, I know...it has been awhile!  I have been working 12-14 hour days, and have not had the time to send out any TTMs or do any trading.  Hopefully, this next month my schedule will open up a little.  For those of you who are sending me trades on Zistle, please be patient.  Hopefully soon I can be up and running again with trades!

It had been quite a long time since my last PWE in the mail.  It always feels like forever in the off season!  I got these cards back from Jeremy Hellickson.  Mr. Hellickson is now with the Diamondbacks, after being traded in the off season.  I am very happy to add a native Iowan to my collection!

Vernon Wells

This was my second attempt at Vernon Wells.  I had sent him mail while he was with the Angels a few years back.  I sent this one to his home address and got two nice cards back.  I have always like Stadium Club, and need to get my hands on some 2014.  I have also always been a fan of the Lineage set.  I have always been disappointed that they never produced this set again.

The second PWE was from Detroit.  I got my small envelope back, so I thought it was a TTM.  However, it was just my card, unsigned.  At least they could have put a RTS on it; would've saved me a stamp, like the Clippers did.

Matt LaPorta

Matt LaPorta sent me mail this weekend.  I had sent him two items; a 2011 Topps and a picture that I had taken of him while he was playing with the Indians here in Kansas City back in 2011.  I didn't get my picture back, which is kind of a bummer.  I hope he just threw it away.  It was not a photo that was good quality, so it's not like he'll be hanging it up on his wall, or at least I hope not!
