| Bio: |  Hello one and all and welcome to the livejournal of, Christie. Christie is 19 years old, and will be turning 20 on December 4th of this year. She resides in the United States of America, and does not hate her country, only a lot of the morons that reside within it. She is of South American descent, her father being native to Argentina, her mother born in Uruguay.  She looks very Caucasian and that is because countries such as Argentina and Uruguay did not have a large amount of American Indians and therefore the Europeans who settled there did not mix with them, thus leaving them with lighter skin and fair hair. She is naturally a medium brunette but enjoys making her hair a myriad of natural colors, her current fixation being multi-colored red all at once. Her eyes are dark green with brown around her pupil, she's near sighted and has astigmatism which means her contacts are not only hard to get, but expensive, a different perscription for each eye. Woe is she. Christie enjoys webdesign and usually has three layouts in waiting for her livejournal and domain, but is usually too lazy to code them to be ready for use. She enjoys creating livejournal icons, and is always looking for new techniques and trying to imitate effects created in Photoshop with her faitheful companion, Paint Shop Pro 7. Personality wise, Christie is a bit quirky, tries to be optimisitic, and sometiems overbearing. She sticks in her foot in her mouth more often than she likes and is not one to approach people often to make friends. In fact, she is very shy and not very social when you first see her unless she is surrounded by good friends. Relationship wise, she is single but not seeking. Trying to get her feet firmly planted on the ground is more of an important objective to her, rather than hunting for Mr. Right. She's got goals, she's got dreams, and she believes that if Mr. Right does come along, he'll probably be in that path. Christie's faults tend mostly to be procrastination and the inability to speak up for herself when it comes to something serious. She controls her temper very well, and can't stand dealing with people who don't actually try to think their way through a problem. If you wish to know more, then you'll have to ask to be added as a friend and you can read back on her daily life. Christie enjoys music also, her favorite band currently being 311, and her favorite singer is Utada Hikaru (known as Utada in America). She enjoys lots of different types of music, including heavy metal, black metal, hard rock, classic rock, alternative rock, very very very little hip hop, classical music, new age stuff (it's good to fall asleep too), pop from foriegn countries, and techno (trance, etc. you get the idea). Christie also likes to watch Japanese animation and Taiwanese drama, read Japanese and Korean comic books, and fantasty novels dealing with the supernatural. Her favorite authors being Tolkien, L.J. Smith, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Tony Hillerman. She also likes to read mystery novels and fantasy novels that have a unique storyline such as the Lord of the Rings trilogy (while other kids got Cinderella, she got to hear about Frodo and the Ring).
