xl lemon exhibition

exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition exhibition

XL lemon exhibition at By Branderhorst in Dordrecht.

One week ago i've transported my XL lemons and XL mokapot in the orange Mini to the beautiful and inspiring art & design store on Voorstraat 199 in Dordrecht, for my first exhibition.

I'm kind of proud to exhibit my lemon canvas collection at Jolanda Branderhorst's unique store.

In case you are in the area, feel free to come by and be inspired at the coolest place in the city center of Dordrecht.

cold crisp day

handmade fingerless mittens handmade fingerless mittens handmade fingerless mittens

We cycled to town for a coffee to go and pastel de nata at Nobel's Brood this morning.
On the first really cold and crisp day, warm wool mittens were no luxury on the bike.

The first handmade pairs of the diagonal striped mittens collection are ready. (only have to weave in the loose ends, the least fun part)

The black & white tweed yarn mittens, like the ones i'm wearing, and another antracite grey & white tweed yarn pair, are already for sale in my Etsy shop.

The rest of the tiny collection ready-made fingerless mittens, will be added soon.

I'm an addict of woolen winter accessories; throw in a beanie, mittens and scarf and i’m good to go. How about you?

Saturday in the city.

Actually, we were on our way to Rotterdam.
On the highway, the car was making strange noises and we decided to drive to the garage.
We could borrow bikes and made a triftshop round in our home town Dordrecht.
The old historic center is truly beautiful.
We ate fried fish (kibbeling) on the market.
Bought some vintage Christmas decoration and a 'hard of hearing' sign (SH) and I fell in love with the x-mas windows!

At the end of the afternoon we cycled back to the garage and the car was fixed.
All in all, nothing special, but we had a pretty fun time in Dordrecht!

Voorstraat, the main and longest street of the city.
