Jury duty for Monday was also canceled. I have to call in tonight to see if the trial for Wednesday goes as scheduled. My guess, probably not. That's just how it's been going the entire month. I haven't had to go in yet. I'll tell tomorrow.
You lost The Game.
I was looking through the little drop-down menu at all the search terms I've typed into Google. I should really clear that thing more often. At the very bottom was the words "you lost the game". So because I lost the game, I'm making the rest of you lose it as well. So there.

This just isn't my day. The boys are screaming, I haven't slept, I nearly broke my toe last night on the bed frame, we have PS2 issues w/ a Rayman game that won't work....
ReplyDelete.... And now, I've lost the frickin' game too. All of this and it's only noon.
Sorry...
ReplyDelete...Ok, not really. I still would have made you lose the game.
Thanks.....
ReplyDelete..... not really.
It is funny though that you caused yourself to lose unexpectedly.
Yeah, it happens. Seems to be more frequent lately as well.
ReplyDeleteYou know that little sand, oil, water, salt game that you have... well I so lost that... mainly because I don't like to read directions... and well you said it was simple... I tried and tried to figure out the goal, until I finally realized (cheated and checked online)... there is NO goal! *sigh*
ReplyDelete@ Barbara: LOL. It's just a fun little thing to mess with and waste time with. And it's addictive enough to waste plenty of time. It reminds me of an old screen saver I once had.
ReplyDeleteIt's terribly addictive. We had it up forever instead of a screensaver.
ReplyDeleteFinally had to take it down because I think it was hypnotizing Brendon((Li'l B)). He would just stare at it in a blank kind of way that no Mom wants to see on the face of their child.
But hey, it was great fun, Thanks Marf. L
No wounder why I have had some 2 hour (or more) long visits...
ReplyDeleteL, Yeah, didn't think about that.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, I was one of those the other day... playing all the games... of course once I had to play one oil/water/sand/salt game I had to play them all...
ReplyDeleteoh and that what was it float or something... where you have to go around eating all the creatures and getting to the bottom of the sea or something... I wasted hours the other day I think... I kinda lost track of the time.
ewwww I don't know about the creature thing.
ReplyDeleteIt's called flOw... I swear I'm not making it up... it was a bit of a time suck...
ReplyDeletenow we're rambling all over Marf's blog too... *laugh*
He won't mind. I'm a bit surprised he isn't in the middle of it all, being the social butterfly he is - right Marf ?
ReplyDeleteOk... so now I'm picturing with nylon butterfly wings over his black trench... see how sleep-deprived I am! he'll hate me for that I'm sure...
ReplyDeleteSounds like the makings of an AWARD.
ReplyDeleteYou two can sure leave a lot of comments in the 2.5 hours I'm away from a computer.
ReplyDeleteYeah, flOw is addictive, too.
Sometimes I see major spikes in my "average time on site" statistic.
You have no idea, we covered a few blogs in that time frame....
ReplyDeleteYou missed a string almost entirely about you in fact...
I suppose we're little social butterflies too... we even got in a few emails along with all the comments... that's what you get that late at night. I didn't get on at all last night. I got some much needed sleep as soon as I got back home.
ReplyDeleteMarf: Yeah I was kind surprised you still hadn't posted in those comments by this morning... You must have an aversion to Bob Ross... Either that or just think we're crazy.
I was so thrilled to have the night to myself, w/ Bay (Big B) sleeping in his bed again, that I stayed up until almost 3.
ReplyDeleteI think the boys are going out of town w/ their Dad though, so I'll get my R&R this weekend.
Real life things have been keeping me away...
ReplyDeleteReal life? real life? pshaw... :P
ReplyDelete@ Monique: Where is this string about me?
ReplyDelete@ Barbara: I know, real life gets in the way...
Barbara told you...
ReplyDelete....Well nevermind, you just found it.
Yup, I'm running a bit behind in my google reader.
ReplyDeleteI gave up on mine and just cleared the 1000+ to start fresh. After I had made sure all my faves were seen, of course.
ReplyDeleteI'm not that far behind. But I don't even try to actually read all of them anyway. Most I skim through with the "K" key.
ReplyDeleteNeed I REALLY say it Marf??? You know you've got my attention and now the curiosity is set....
ReplyDeleteNot enough?
Ooook... what do you mean by the "K" key?
It's a keyboard shortcut in Google reader... Go into a feed, and press "K" (on the keyboard) for next item and "J" for previous item.
ReplyDeleteThere are many keyboard shortcuts, but those are the only ones I use on a regular basis.
Awesome. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteeven skimming 1000+ takes forever! :) I'm going through my faves tonight then I'm going to mark all as read... It would also help if I'd stop checking old posts to reply to comments... but as I've mentioned to Monique in the past, my fave blogs are the ones like this because it's more like a conversation... far more fun and interesting... and lots of late night psychobabble! :)
