How's the Weather Out There?

********************
I've been wanting to post some pictures of some lovely New England foliage but so far we really haven't had all that much to speak of here in my part of Connecticut. All things considered, it's been a pretty screwed-up kind of autumn so far with temperatures ranging from the low 50's to the mid 80's. Matter of fact, when I walked out the door this morning at 6:45 to go to work, it was a balmy 67 degrees - on the 1st of November!

I've got to wonder if Mother Nature is as screwed up about all this as I am! No doubt we'll all be complaining before too long about how cold it is (especially with the cost of home heating going up by another ridiculous amount this year) but for now, it's just strange - very, very strange!

What's it doing in your part of the world? And is it "normal" or a little bit out there??

We've got a cool front moving through today. It's going to be cool tonight...in the 40s. :)

  2. Southern New England weather is fouled up, always. I think it was last week that the warmest days were abnormally warm. I'm not looking for 0 deg. F temperatures, but just what's 'normal'. As if CT weather ever made any sense...

It's still hot here in Florida. It's supposed to get cool - in the 70's tonight. Oh no can we handle that big drop in temps?

Thanks for the photo of the leaves. I do miss seeing that.

  4. well, let's see, yesterday the high was 80, today the high was 70....so I'd have to say it's a very dull, boring old normal fall in NE Texas!
