Guys, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was. I’ve been following Abbi’s work from the very start and the last time I saw her was in 2013! You can pretty much guarantee I cleared out a good stack of books from my bookshelves to take with me for her to sign. My shoulders weren’t very happy with me, but a little pain is worth having my entire collection signed and personalized!
Below you’ll fine our complete interview with Abbi as well as some pictures we took during the event.
Having that one on one time with her was everything I hoped for. I might've wanted to push more for that Jimmy book (Raise your hand if you still think Jimmy needs his own book.), but we've been with this series for a while now so I understand where she's coming from. On that note though I am insanely excited about the possibility of a spin off with those characters we got a glimpse of at the end of Until The End. If you don't know what I'm talking about GET ON IT RIGHT NOW! I expect a thank you basket in return, :D

So Nan, we know you; you've been that constant person that always showed up to stir the pot. The picture you let us paint of you hasn't been pretty, but you allowed us to see small glimpses into the real Nan and you made us want more, you made us curious. And finally, FINALLY, Abbi gave us Nan's story and let me be honest, IT WASN'T ENOUGH. Seriously, the town villain needs at least two books to really tell her story, open our eyes and heart and hopefully let us know that she truly does have a soul.
Nan's story was definitely a different from any other story of Abbi's, there were two hot men involved. I mean. there is definitely a lot of hot men in all of her books, especially the scenes when the whole gang gets together, how Rosemary Beach can survive that crew is beyond me. First we have playboy Major, the hot Texan we met in When I'm Gone, who was getting in trouble then and is definitely keeping up his games in Rosemary Beach too. So our playboy messes up one too many times and Nan is over it, and the best way to get over it is to vacation, in Vegas. Now cue our second guy Gannon, who approaches Nan at a club with the confidence and arrogance that is needed when handling a girl like Nan. After Vegas things get a little more interesting, definitely crazy, and a lot more sexy.
While we do still have Dean's novella to look forward to, this is the end of The Rosemary Beach series and I hate saying goodbye. I still have questions Abbi, like that ending...!? Up in Flames was a blast, slightly dark, sexy, and some solid moves on swooning a girl, but I felt like I was missing a redemption part, maybe a darker past for Nan. I would've loved to see her forging a friendship and sisterhood with Harlow, especially after Harlow gave birth and Nan stepped up to help. We got a glimpse into the not so monster Nan then and I would've loved to see a bond form from that. So Abbi, you really don't have to stop this series now, I could go for another Nan book, and a Jimmy book and then a book with everyone!
