Verve July Release Day ~ Day 4

Welcome back to Day 4 of Verve's July Release Spotlight Hops!  It's an exciting day as there's new Verve in the store this morning! Three beautiful new sets and coordinating die sets just released and they're all available in the shop right now. Oh, the day we get to use ANY set is hard for this Diva...which one?!  I wanted to make a bookmark with this darling sentiment so that's what I did.  I used 3 sentiments from Happiness Is and the word "coffee" from Always Time.  Then I added some of those darling flowers to the background with some fun sequins in the middle :)  I attached the bookmark using some non permanent dotto tape so the recipient can remove it and use it!

Verve July Release ~ Day 3

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's July Release Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Fill My Cup stamp set. This set also coordinates with the Happiness in a Cup Die Set we shared yesterday.

I just adore all the sentiments in this set...this one in particular! It reminds me of the country songs, "Jesus take the Wheel," "She Loves me Like Jesus Does," and "Me and God Love her."I picked out some more fun paper and added an extra sentiment banner because that little sentiment was begging to join the card! HA!  There's blended coffee in those cold coffee cups, just in case you were wondering!

Today's card is a special one for me...it's the one I gave the DH yesterday for our 10th Anniversary!  I used whites and greys with a splash of blue (the colour for tenth anniversaries).  When we answered the priest's questions during our vows, the answers were, "I have, I will, I do."  I thought it was most appropriate to add the "still" on the inside :)  I used an older set, Love Everlasting along with Everlasting Heart Die Set and the Heart Quartet Die to help make it extra special.

I'm a coffee drinker so this set makes me tingle with delight!  I chose some fun papers to make up the background for my Coffee Blessing card :)  I just love those sweet little cups full to the brim with coffee and a splash of milk (the way I take mine!).

New Verve Release!

If the nativity is my most favourite Christmas image, reindeer are my second!  I have the Pottery Barn reindeer mug collection and I love putting them out each December.  

 I choose which mug to use each morning based on my mood! LOL  Vixen and Prancer gets used A LOT!! HA!  This card is going to the dh Christmas morning.  I've used both Beyond Measure and Jolly Jingles to create today's card.  I'm also using today's Viva La Verve sketch...

My most favourite Christmas image is the one of the Holy Family, the Nativity Scene.  You can imagine my excitement when I saw this set.   Beyond Measure is a timeless Christmas set.  If you only had this set in your stamp collection, you would be good to go for many Christmases to come.
