~ quilled mommy-to-be gift tag

... and here is the gift card that went with the quilled baby buggy I posted last post

I've made this card before but it's hard to tell by the pictures that 

this is smaller than the standard card size of the original 

this version is a little gift enclosure size card 

& I love the addition of the quilled heart in the gender colour

(which was requested by the Nana-to-be)

 it's so cute I will have to make more of these but I am knee deep in 

Christmas (& Nativity) quilling so it might be a while

I've been busy with special projects lately

this one was for my friends daughter 

we had been talking about it for a while but you never know how 

it is going to turn out until you start

  each and every piece I made was made in one shot...

I never had to remake or fix anything 

that's when I know it is going to work

{sorry for all of the pictures...it was hard to get every angle}

and lastly my most favourite gems of the bunch

.... quilled bride and groom 3d sheep

my customer asked for a

black sheep with a hat and bow tie

a white sheep with a glitter veil

... and this is what I came up with

I certainly am going to make more and list them in my etsy shop

but they were both done in one shot so wish me luck lol

~ quilled Daria & Brandon

 

 ~ I was recently was commissioned to make a quilled scene for a friends

 daughter, Daria to give to her husband on their first anniversary

...which happens to be PAPER

Daria sent me a few pictures to get a sense of what they looked like

and I decicded to take this one and quill it as close as possible...

quill both her and Brandon and the dogs running down the beach

   

Daria's hair is not as curly in the picture but it is normally

so that is what she chose to go with

the fun part for me is in the details from her necklace to Brandon's hair
 don't you just love his hair, it's shaved paper (or do it yourself flocking)

 I know I took oooodles of pictures but they are the hardest 

darn things to take photos of because you can see right through them

 

...and besides they are sooooo cute it's hard to stop taking pictures

these are challenging to do but I love making them

  the hardest part is taking pictures of them and they certainly don't do them justice

 Marie is the baker of the family and she loved her quilled scene
