Little And yellow elephant baby card

Today I have a cute little elephant card

Why do they always put elephants and hippos in the stamps sets made for a pregnancy related cards?

Elephant Stamp is by Close to my Heart
I colored him in with Copic markers.
Then I layered that elephant with 4 different squares-ish punches and die cuts
The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug
The is no patterned paper on this card.

The sentiment is from Honey Bee stamps, I think. They were a gift from Vera for helping her with the Caring Hearts card drive.
I’m bummed we’re not doing it this year because it was successful and the nursing homes loved it. It worked out well making it possible to have my minor foot surgery. I’m finally able to go downstairs and craft apick up and put away

I was able to add some yellow brads. I’ve made an effort to use brads and eyelets in my projects and sadly, I haven’t made a dent in the amount I have.
So, I thought about doing a few rainbows with them. Maybe not on a card, it may be too top heavy. But what about on a canvas or in an open frame or in a quilting hoop with strong fabric to hold it in place.

Manly Monday Linus Baby Boy

Linus makes another showing for baby boy cards. I have baby stamps but they are by Lawn Fawn and this will sound stupid but I don't want to stamp with them because then they will be dirty. They stain so badly and I'm not sure why I care but I do. Ugh!
Patterned paper by Die Cuts with a View.
Sentiment stamp by Three Bugs in a Rug.
Linus colored in with Copic markers and cut out by a Spellbinders die

Thanks for looking.
Two more cards with this stamp.

All my cards look the same. Ugh!

Gina Marie Little Star Card

Start with a 4 x 5 ½ off-white card base (Recollections) and adhere a piece of marbled cardstock on top. Trim a piece of patterned paper and adhere it to the left edge of the card. Die cut a Stitched circle die by Gina Marie Designs out of off white shimmer cardstock by Recollections. Die cut the onesie also by Gina Marie Designs out of Sassafras patterned paper. Adhere the two die cuts together and to the front of the card. Die cut 2 small stars and one arrowhead (Lawn Fawn) out of green and blue cardstock. Adhere a K and Co sentiment sticker to a scrap of cardstock and then to the card front on an angle matching the pattern in the background paper. Trim off the edge and adhere small dies as shown.

Healthy Pregnancy card

My card today would be great for a baby shower card. The image stamp by Studio G was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock. I then matted a yellow and black cardstock behind that image. I stamped the sentiment by Gina Marie onto yellow cardstock. Both stamps were stamped with Hero Arts black ink.

The embellishments above and below the sentiment took a little work but here's what I did:
I punched a square shape by Creative Memories with black Recollections cardstock. I punched a smaller square punch out of yellow Bazzill cardstock. I cut the sides of the yellow squares with scallop decorative scissors by Pioneer. I adhered the two squares together. Then I came in with the Fastenater by EK Success, which is basically a big stapler, and stapled the silver baby icons into the two squares.

I adhered all the pieces together and this is what I came up with.

Baby Elephant baby Cards

I have two baby cards to share today. The elephant stamp is by Fiskars and I've stamped it with Memento black ink and colored it in with Copic markers.

I die cut the elephant with a Design Objectives die. The background paper, the strip in the center and the light green squares are all patterned papers by Creative Memories. The darker green/sage patterned paper is by Making Memories. I didn't die cut those squares because I don't think I own regular square dies. I just cut them with my trimmer. The tag and the eyelet are unknown.

I die cut the elephant for the blue card with a Dreamweaver Stencils nesting die. This card uses blue cardstock by Recollections and patterned paper by Making Memories. The ribbon and the charm were decorations at a baby shower that I went to and kept for this sort of reason. I love this card and it was so simple to make. Bonus!

Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Hippo

The baby cards below use the same hippo stamp by Fiskars and stamped with Memento black ink. I colored them in with Copic markers and die cut them out with different Spellbinders as well as the dies behind them. I inked the inside of the die with light blue and pink ink.

The boy card I started with yellow Bazzill cardstock and adhered a patterned paper on top. I'm not sure who it is by. The I wrapped some Michael's shear blue ribbon around to the left. I made the sentiment with Spellbinders dies using a Unity Stamp Co stamp with Hero Arts Cornstarch ink. I then die cut a swirl from my Cricut and added some baby feet stickers (by CM) to the bottom.

The second card I used some old patterned paper that may be by Three Bugs in a Rug. The ribbon is by American Crafts and the sentiment is a Fiskars stamp in the same set as the hippo.

Boy Teddy Bear Duet

I have two baby cards for you today. They are similar so I figured put them together in one post.

The bear stamp is by Stampin Up and it is stamped with Tsukineko brown ink and colored him in with Copic markers. I fussy cut the image out with a small white border around him and adhered him to two Cricut cuts. The first one in white patterned paper by The Paper Studio is from Close to My Heart Art Philosophy (Square 7) and the blue and brown patterned paper by Deja View is on the same cartridge as Square 5.

There are a lot of layers to this card. Starting closest to the card base is a light blue cardstock by Recollections. The white on top of that is the same patterned paper the bear is on. The darker blue paper is by Paper Pizzazz and the brown with circle like stars is by The Paper Studio. The sentiment is on Stampin Up grey cardstock and is made using Lawn Fawn stamps and brown ink. I think I should put an exclamation mark at the end. Hmm.

The next card I stamped and colored the same way but I didn't cut him out. Instead I die cut the image with a Design Objectives die and inked the inside with distress ink. The die behind it is same paper as above and same cartridge (Square 3). The embossing on the brown cardstock is a Gina Marie folder called Fluff. That brown cardstock is by Coredinations. The blue grid patterned paper is by Basic Grey and the white paper is same as above. The sentiment is a stamp by Fiskars stamped in brown ink and the epoxy sticker is by Sticko/EK Success.

It's a Girl Stroller Card

Here's a little bit of pink to brighten your day. The ribbon is by Offray and The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby. Stroller stamp is by Stampin Up and colored with Copic markers. Background paper by The Paper Studio and behind the image is a My Mind's Eye journal box. I die cut the image out with a Design Objectives die and then inked the inside with distress ink by Ranger. I die cut the same shape out of white fun foam to give it dimension. The flourish was cut out with my Cricut and the flower is from my stash.

Cricut Rattle Baby Shower Card

For my card today I die cut out a rattle and a scallop square from my Cricut off the Cricut Sampler cartridge. I used some old papers that I had for the die cut and unfortunately I don't know the company names. The background paper is by The Paper Studio and the pink cardstock is by Sunborn. The black cardstock is by Recollections and the sentiment is a rub-on by American Crafts. The ribbon is by May Arts and the little tag under the ribbon is by Making Memories.

Baby Rocking Horse Card

My card today features a rocking horse stamp by Stamp N Plus. I stamped it with Stampin Up ink and then die cut the image with a Design Objectives die. I inked the inside of the image while the paper was still in the die with distress ink. I die cut the two Spellbinders dies that are behind the image. The card base is by Recollections, the teal paper closest to the card base is by Studio G and the background paper on top is by SEI. The ribbon is from my stash but the sentiment is a vellum sticker by K and Co that I placed on to white cardstock.

Cuddles with Linus

Linus from the Peanuts gang is a stamp I've had forever. It is by All Night Media and I stamped him on Neenah Solar White cardstock so I could color him in with Copic markers. I looked up the image online and there was a picture of him in this exact pose so I could accurately color him in with the right colors. Once he was colored I cut him down with my trimmer and matted him onto some blue Recollections cardstock. The patterned paper is by Sunborn, the ribbon is by Stampin Up and the sentiment stamp is by Three Bugs in a Rug with black ink by Hero Arts.

Baby Teddy Bear Pink Card

Here is yet another baby card using the teddy bear stamp but this one is geared toward a little girl. I stamped the bear onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored her in with Copic Markers. Then I die cut her out with a Spellbinders die and while the paper was still in the die I inked the inside with some Spun Sugar distress ink. The pink polka dot frame sticker under the image is unknown but the white cardstock behind it is by Recollections, The background paper is by Imaginisce. I thought the pink in the teddy's bow matched the pink in the patterned paper perfectly. Then to finish the card I wrapped some pink fibers around the card front and stamped the Sweet Stamps LLC sentiment with black ink onto white cardstock.
One thing I always do when making cards is work off the card first. So this card was made with this piece of patterned paper and once it was finished I added it to the card front. That way the fibers can't be seen inside the card and also if I mess up or don't like what I've done I didn't waste a card on it.
