Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! It's time for an all new MFTWSC sketch challenge. Thanks to all who joined along with last week's sketch ~ so many fantastic entries!
This week, we at MFT have another fun sketch for you to create with:
I needed to make my sweet MIL a Mother's Day card, so I combined a variety of MFT stamps, Die-namics dies and Pion design patterned papers to create my sample.
I started by layering pretty papers from the Pion design Vintage Garden collection then die cut two different sized ovals using Die-namics Oval STAX Set 1 dies. To create a "framed" look around the inner oval, I left the oval die in place then stamped the Linen Background using Natural ink. I stamped the beautiful rose image from Inspired by Flowers Set #2 x 2, once on vellum and once on a piece of Blending Card by X-Press It using Hybrid Hot Fudge ink. I colored the image on the Blending card paper using Copic markers then layered on top of the embossed vellum image. The sentiment is from Sweet Roses stamped using Hybrid Hot Fudge ink.
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you join along in the fun! You have the opportunity to win a $20. gift certificate to the MFT Boutique! Be sure to visit the MFT blog for additional inspiration.
