Portland OR Policeman Duty Station Changed After Comment on Black Lives Matter

[From article]
"I am highly offended, and I think other people should be,'' said Teressa Raiford, a community activist involved in Don't Shoot Portland. "I think it's very unprofessional, especially someone in his position.''
Officer John Hurlman, a 24-year bureau veteran, removed the post from his Twitter feed, but a screen shot was caught by others.
His message read, "Black Lives Matter is planning to protest at Lloyd Center on black Friday. Oh joy, stuck late again at work to babysit these fools."
[. . .]
In September 2012, Hurlman sent an email message on his patrol car's mobile computer that went out to the entire police force by accident. It was while he was seated in his patrol car, listening to radio coverage of a news conference where Oregon's U.S. Attorney and members of the U.S. Department of Justice announced that a federal investigation had found Portland police engaged in a pattern of excessive force against people suffering from mental illness.
Annoyed by the outcome, Hurlman intended to respond to another officer's email but sent a message to the entire police force, writing something like, "This is the same DOJ or people who created Waco and Ruby Ridge."

White Long Island, NY Teacher Files Lawsuit After Black Racism Bias, Violence

[From article]
Newsday reports Lynne Albuquerque, a science teacher in the Hempstead Public Schools district, claims “the school district took no disciplinary action after a student threatened her with sexual assault and discriminated against her because she was white.”
The student and school administrators at the center of Albuquerque’s accusations are black.
According to the suit, a student, identified by the initials “N.L.,” threatened the teacher in her classroom in May 2014.
“When I get done ramming you, I’m gonna bag your daughter, then ram the bitch through the whole gang,” N.L. allegedly told Albuquerque, according to the suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, the New York Daily News reports.
The teacher reported the threat to the school district, the police and the Nassau County district attorney’s office, and the student was suspended for three days. The penalty was later reversed, according to Albuquerque’s lawyer, Steven Morelli.
The suit claims the teacher was then accused by an administrator of “instigating” the threat. She was also hit with disciplinary charges by Assistant Superintendent Rodney Gilmore over a worker’s compensation claim she filed due to “emotional trauma.”

Updated: Misguided Diversity Consultants Create Classroom Chaos, Blame White Privilege

Posted June 2, 2015 8:50 PM ET; Last updated June 4, 2015 8:59 PM ET

[From article]
St. Paul faced a problem with minority violence in its school. What to do? The answer: pay a consultant $3 million to teach about White racism.
[. . .]
PEG says concepts like hard work and planning for the future are traits of “white culture,” and implies that minority students cannot be expected to respond to a curriculum based on those values. They say black culture is more in tune with “collectivism,” presumably the type applied in Cuba or North Korea.
According to PEG, white culture is based on “white individualism” or “white traits” like “rugged individualism,” “adherence to rigid time schedules,” “plan(ning) for the future,” and the idea that “hard work is the key to success.”
[. . .]
You know, if a conservative said that "showing up on time" or "working hard" is a White trait, he'd be branded a racist. But when a leftist group like PEG does it, it somehow becomes progressive. What else would you expect from an ideology which conflates peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with racial identity?

Schools solve problem of minority violence by teaching about White racism

[From article]
Have the taxpayers of St. Paul spent nearly $3 million over the past five years to bring chaos and danger to their schools and students?
Apparently so.
In 2010, the St. Paul school district began a contractual relationship with the Pacific Educational Group, a San Francisco-based organization that tries to help public schools deal with achievement and disciplinary issues involving black students.
PEG packages and sells the concept of victimization, for a very high price.
It claims that the American education system is built around white culture, tradition and social norms – aka “white privilege” – to the unfair detriment of black students.
PEG believes that black students will only achieve if school curricula are customized to meet their cultural specifications. It also rejects the concept of using suspensions or expulsions to discipline black students.
[. . .]
Student suspensions were replaced by “time outs,” and school officials starting forgiving or ignoring violence and other unacceptable behavior, according to various sources.
[. . .]
The result has been general chaos throughout the district, with far too many students out of control because they know there are no real consequences for their actions.
[. . .]
“Last spring, when she stepped into a fight between two basketball players, one grabbed her shoulder and head, throwing her aside,” the CityPages article explained. “The kid was only sent home for a couple of days.
“In March, when a student barged into her class, McQueen happened to be standing in the doorway and got crushed into a shelf. The following week, two boys came storming in, hit a girl in the head, then skipped back out. One of them had already been written up more than 30 times.
“Yet another student who repeatedly drops into her class has hit kids and cursed at an aide, once telling McQueen he would “fry” her ass. She tried to make a joke of it — ‘Ooh, I could use a little weight loss.’ Her students interjected: ‘No, that means he’s gonna kill you.'”
[. . .]
several teachers, who asked to remain anonymous, describe anything but a learning environment. Students run up and down the hallways, slamming lockers and tearing posters off the walls. They hit and swear at each other, upend garbage cans under teachers’ noses.
Nine teachers at Ramsey Middle School have quit since the beginning of this school year. Some left for other districts. Others couldn’t withstand the escalating anarchy.
In mid-April, staff at Battle Creek Elementary penned a letter to their principal over “concerns about building wide safety, both physical and emotional, as well as the deteriorating learning environment.”
[. . .]
Will officials continue to waste taxpayer dollars on an organization that pushes policies that destroy any hope for creating or maintaining a productive learning environment?
As one recently published story on better-ed.org put it, “Given the recent (and probably ongoing) turmoil in St. Paul Public Schools, it’s time to ask questions about Pacific Educational Group.”

New York BDSM Club Revealed

[From article]
Located a floor above a nail salon, the secret sex lair has security cameras covering the building’s front door, vestibule, elevator and stairs as well as our suite’s front and back doors. There are no signs, not even a mailbox, indicating what’s inside.
To get an appointment, you need to find the Web site and fill out a “slave application.” “Are you into infantilism?” “Do you consider bruises ‘tokens’?” “Do you live to serve?” It also asks you to create a code name.
If we’re convinced you’re not a cop, you’ll enter a lobby covered in Persian rugs, gilt-framed mirrors and the scent of perfume and incense. You might hear muffled voices coming from behind the lobby doors. Those are the girls — as many as nine at a time — chatting, changing clothes, trying shoes, applying lipstick, watching movies, swapping costumes.
[. . .]
Even male clients are mostly submissive or “switches.” The few “doms” who do come in are seldom good-looking. And they are always married.
[. . .]
His first question: “Will you spank me gently and chastise me so that I may beg forgiveness for being unworthy of you?”
Sure, whatever. I cup his chin in my hand and lift his face to mine.
“If you are truly sorry,” I purr, “for being lower than the dirt, for being so pathetic that you cannot pleasure me properly . . . I suppose for once I can be . . . merciful in your correction.”
[. . .]
Some of us only do domination work — we will spank you, use sex toys on you, insult you. There is a girl who keeps her own bamboo canes to beat clients. She’s been a dominatrix here nearly as long as the business has been open — almost two decades — and won’t do submissive work.

Ex-Model Describes Being a Dominatrix In NYC

Baber recalls that while it was made clear prostitution was forbidden, it was also alluded to that it would be unwise to say no to a client’s role-play fantasy if you were his chosen one.

[From article]
Valerie Baber has been a Playboy model, a call girl and a sex therapist. But there’s one popular career the “sexpert” has never tried — dominatrix. Here, the author of “Notorious VIP: Confessions of An Emperor’s Club Companion” and a forthcoming collection of essays, describes her trip to a Midtown dungeon — discovering that it’s a far cry from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” fantasy.
What exactly does one wear to an office interview to inquire about the position of a vinyl-clad, corporal-punishment officer? Even if I did have a full-body PVC suit, how well would that have gone over on the subway?
[. . .]
It might seem like being a dominatrix is easier than being a call girl, or a stripper. After all, you don’t have to dance or have sex. You get to beat up men all day — and get paid for it.

Low Morale in U.S. Navy

[From article]
“Sailors feel strongly about their distrust of senior leadership, and believe the Navy has a significant risk-averse culture and zero-defect mentality,” the report says. “Officers in particular hold an incredibly negative view of the current state of affairs, with vast majorities decrying the overwhelming perception of a risk averse and zero-defect mentality culture.”
[. . .]
He wrote of “a recent shift within the Navy to eradicate behavior that is, by its very nature, ineradicable.”
“Put simply, there is no dollar amount that can be spent, or amount of training that can be conducted, that will completely eradicate complex issues such as suicide, sexual assault, or commanding officer reliefs for cause — yet we continue to expend immense resources in this pursuit,” he said. “Sailors are bombarded with annual online training, general military training, and safety stand-downs — all in an effort to combat problems that will never be defeated.”

Sweden Rethinks Child Punishment

[From article]
A best-selling Swedish academic has concluded that permissive parenting is creating a generation of arrogant young adults who lack social empathy, personal resilience and, after a childhood of pampering, are destined to be bitterly disappointed in life.
“Saying 'no’ to a child is not the same as beating a child. Parents should act like parents, not best friends,” says David Eberhard, psychiatrist, father of six and author of How Children Took Power. “They should prepare their kids for adult life by teaching them how to behave, not treat them like princes or princesses. In Sweden, they think that any form of intervention against the child is a sort of molesting.
[. . .]
“What strikes me as the most disturbing feature of Swedish society is the voluntary abdication of adult authority,” says Frank Furedi, Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Kent and author of Paranoid Parenting. “It began with stigmatising the punishment of children and mutated into a fear of disciplining them, which is what parents are supposed to do. The area for concern isn’t what happens to them as children, but what happens to them as they grow up.”

Misguided Promotion of Courts As Enablers of Drug Addiction

[From article]
But there aren’t nearly enough beds at licensed treatment facilities, which means many addicts are sent to prison instead: men to a prison in Bridgewater and women to MCI-Framingham. There, they are treated like prisoners, not like patients trying to escape a serious, chronic illness.

This editorial makes it sound as if heroin addicts are victims of the criminal justice system. Did government bureaucrats force them to ingest drugs? Is there a taxpayer funded conspiracy which encourages people to abuse drugs? Is a lack of discipline, a weakness of will an illness? How does one correct that? Can psychiatric drugs strengthen willpower, discipline? On Super Bowl Sunday NYC police reported they found Philip Seymour Hoffman dead with a heroin needle in his arm. Was he unable to afford the prescription form of these opiates?
More troubling is the apparent misguided belief of the editorial writers that state courts in Massachusetts incarcerate people for being drug addicts. That would be a status crime prohibited by the U.S. Constitution. These people have committed a crime, possession, sale, larceny, burglary, assault, threats, something that is a violation of a criminal statute. Police cannot and do not arrest people for being a drug addict. That practice ended about 70 years ago.
This sounds more like a PR piece promoted by the human services industrial complex (State Rep. Marie Parente's term) for more taxpayer funds.

Obama Continues Promoting Racist School Policies

[From article]
“What this means is that whites and Asians will get suspended for things that blacks don’t get suspended for,” because school officials will try to level punishments despite groups’ different infraction rates, predicted Hans Bader, a counsel at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Bader is a former official in the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights, and has sued and represented school districts and colleges in civil-rights cases.

Obama Distorts School Discipline As Racist, Hindering Learning in Favor of Lawyers, Consultant Fees

This same principle applies to race riots when police and politicians refuse to recognize black racism. The problem will escalate due to the teens knowing they will not get arrested for their egregious harms. See Colin Flaherty's new book, White Girl Bleed A Lot; and Harry Stein's new book, No Matter What . . . They'll Call This Book Racist. Also Eric Holder's refusal to enforce civil rights laws in a race neutral manner adds to this notion of unaccountability. See, J. Christian Adams' new book, Injustice. The unsubstantiated claims of the Education Czar is the same pattern of diverting attention from the serious abuses of the Teachers' Unions. Like US Sen. "Dingy, Whorehouse" Harry Reid, they make outrageous claims which right minded school administrators spend their efforts disproving. What a waste of time by these government subversives who steal taxpayer funds and keep young people uneducated.

[From article]
Teachers also constitute one of the most liberal occupation groups, as a visit to any education school will confirm. Yet if we’re to believe the Obama administration, when they enter the classroom or become administrators, these eager proponents of white-privilege theory suddenly become retributive bigots, favoring fractious white students over pacific black students.
[. . .]
When students see no consequences for bad behavior, not only do they continue to misbehave, but the behavior worsens, with more and more students joining in, Zollman told the Commission on Civil Rights. Under such conditions, very little teaching or learning takes place.
[. . .]
The executive branch has decided that school bullying is a problem of such epic dimensions that the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Justice, Education, the Interior, and Health and Human Services are required to fight it, along with the Federal Trade Commission, the National Council on Disability, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Office for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
[. . .]
Though the federal bullying initiative encompasses some forms of bullying not directed against gays, its most prominent backers are in the gay advocacy establishment.
[. . .]
After the Department of Education informed the Rochester, Minnesota, school district that it was under investigation for disciplinary disparities, the district sent its staff to training sessions on the role of whiteness, the impact of race on student learning, and the need for “courageous conversations about race.”
