I'm combining two challenges on this card. The ABC challenge theme is Happy Birthday and Lili's Little Fairies challenge 2 is Your Favourite LOTV Stamp. I love this image of the little boy playing on his bike. It reminds me of my son, Tim, when he used to do wheelies on his bike. His dog, Danny (named after John Travolta in Grease), was a Cairn Terrier though so it didn't look quite like this one. Happy days.
I used a small 6x6 card blank by Craft UK. The red card and green card used for the die cuts and the matting is by Papermill and the green checked distressed backing paper is from a small pad by Serif. The LOTV stamp was coloured with Promarkers and a Sakura Gelly roll pen in stardust for the chrome bits. The baker's twine is from Creative Expressions and the buttons from Create and Craft. Of course the die cuts were made with my favourite Spellbinders nesties.

Grow your own thank you
I'm combining two challenges again so we have 'grow your own thank you'. I've used a Craft UK small square card and the backing paper is from a freebie Serif pad that I got in a magazine. The red card is by Papermill. The LOTV image is coloured with Promarkers and cut with Spellbinders nesties. I made the flowers with Create and Craft punches - a heart and a sun, the centres are Create and Craft brads. The little cupcake brad is by Dovecraft and I made the thank you sentiment, edging it with a Versacolor ink pad.
The two challenges I'm entering are:

Crafting for all Seasons
The CFAS Challenge 5 theme is Furry Friends. I wouldn't go so far as to say these mice are my friends but they are furry! It's a Craft UK card blank in 6x6 size and the backing paper is from the freebie pack, Serif's Picnic in the Park. I stamped and inked two of Joanna Sheen's House Mouse mice :) in Memento ink and coloured them with Promarkers. The sentiment is also from Joanna Sheen. They've been cut with Spellbinders nestie dies and backed with the scalloped nesties. The Mirri board is also from Joanna Sheen. The brads are from Dovecraft.

Papertake Weekly
The Papertake Weekly Challenge theme is Hot, Hot, Hot. My card blank is by Craft UK. Two of the backing papers are from the Desert Blooms pad and the bright orange one is from the freebie Serif pad Picnic in the Park that I got with one of the magazines. The orange card is from Papermill. The digi is from Stitchybear and is coloured with Promarkers and cut with a Spellbinders rectangle nestie. The sentiment was generated on the PC and cut with a nestie. The digi and the sentiment were both backed with scalloped nesties in orange. I bought the satin ribbon in Australia. The flowers are from WOC and the leaves are cut using a Marianne die.

CD Challenge
The CD Sunday challenge - Handbags! I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy this challenge one bit! I'm not keen on making handbag type cards and I've made a right pig's ear of this challenge. I used a small Craft UK card blank and backing paper from Serif's pad of Picnic in the Park. The bags are from Joanna Sheen's Fashion Boutique CD on CD2, page of embellishments. The ribbons and raffia are from Hobbycraft. The tag for the peel off sentiment :( is also from the Serif pad.

Stitchybear
OSAAT Challenge 70 is Anything goes. I've used a small square Craft UK card with backing paper from a Serif pad that was a freebie in a magazine. The Stitchybear digi is coloured with Promarkers and cut with a Spellbinders oval nestie and backed with a scalloped nestie in Papermill red pearlescent card. The LOTV sentiment has been stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento ink and cut with a label nestie. The leaves are cut with a Crealies die and the three hearts are from my stash.

Anything Goes
The Papertake Weekly challenge this week is Anything Goes with the option of using buttons. I decided I would use buttons because I've got hundreds of them! The card blank is a small square by Craft UK. The backing paper is a sheet from a freebie pack by Serif called Paper in the Park. I'm sure I got it in a magazine but can't remember which one. I've also used a freebie stamp, it's a Ladybug Crafts Ink clear stamp and that came in a Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine. The buttons are from Create and Craft, the ribbon and the coloured cord is from Hobbycraft and the image is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment came with the clear stamp set and they were both cut with Spellbinders nesties and edged with Distress Ink in Peeled Paint.

Papertake Weekly Challenge
The Papertake Weekly Challenge this week is Dads and Lads. This is my card, a small square blank from Craft UK. The checked distressed backing paper is from a freebie Serif paperstack from a magazine. The LOTV image is stamped on to a Spellbinders label nestie with Memento ink and coloured with Promarkers. The edges of the label were distressed with Distress Ink. The mirror board is from Papermill and one is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and the red one is embossed using my Martha Stewart Scorepal. The sentiment was generated on my computer and the buttons are from Create and Craft.

I'm on a roll!
After finishing my very pink card earlier this afternoon I've actually made another one, how about that? I decided to make a challenge card and I'm entering it in to Crafty Sentiments Challenge which is 'Flowers' and Simon Says Stamp Challenge which has the theme 'Paper Piecing' and I've incorporated both in the one card. The card blank is a small square Craft UK card and the distressed backing paper is from a freebie Serif paper pack from Simply Cards & Papercraft. The Magnolia stamp was inked with a Memento ink pad and her sweater and socks are pieced from the Serif paper pad in yellow and her dungarees are also from that pad in the orangey red flowered paper. (The rest of her is coloured with Promarkers.) This pad is going to be useful, the colours are lovely. The corner is cut with a Spellbinders die Parisian Accents Shapeability - I love these already! The roses are from WOC and the paper flowers are cut from the Desert Blooms glittery pad. These were much more difficult to cut than I imagined and I was pleased when I'd finished - the paper is very thick. The orange 'wall' is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. It's a funny sort of card but Eric liked it!
