CREATIVE CORNERS

Hi everyone

Today I have a card to share which I made to the theme of 'Creative Corners'  I opted to make another Easel Card, and I must say I loved making this.   I am really enjoying playing with my dies, especially the Cheery Lynn dies which are so pretty. You may have noticed that for a while I have not been using many dies.  Well this was because I have had a problem shoulder.  Anyhow, this seems to be a whole load better, BUT because I have a rather special birthday coming up next week (a zero one) I have invested in an eBosser, and this has helped me enormously.  What a treat!  So, this is why the dies have come out again!  I wonder what you think to the homemade flowers with the Cheery Lynn dies?

Cheery Lynn Dies:  A mixture of doily dies, snowflake dies, Border die, flower and leaf dies, and of course corner dies.  Yes, all can be found here at Cheery Lynn
I would have liked to list them all for you but have run short of time today.

and a few close ups:

ITS ROSES AT CHEERY LYNN

Hi again,

I am back with a card to share which I made for the Cheery Lynn Challenge where the theme is entitled 'Roses'  Well I love flowery cards, so what better theme to have a try at.

I decided to try making an easel card with the Cheery Lynn dies, and also to try out my Flower dies too, and opted to go for something quite simple for starters.  So, on this card the Flower has been made by myself instead of my usual bought ones.  I just love the leaf dies, OMG!  I am thrilled to bits with those.  It was my friend Joann who inspired me into trying these dies, and I love them!  I can see this flower making thing turning into something really lovely for me, but I do need to put a bit of tinkering, and playing in to get the effects I want to achieve.  I have been looking at the Tutorials on the Cheery Lynn website and they are absolutely brilliant!  I guess I just need to set some time aside really.  Makes sense doesn't it!

I am adding a couple of close up photos:

I must admit I am chuffed with this!
