Good morning,
This morning I want to share a birthday card with you that I made for my good friend and fellow DT-er on the simply stampin challenge Ruth, now Ruth's birthday was over Easter so I have been waiting an age to show you but I'm afraid as I'd used new products from the summer mini on it (yep, that's right us demo's get our hands on goodies a whole month early!) I had to wait to show you!
I used the brand new punch that co-ordinates with the mixed bunch stamps, isn't it yummy!? It's hard to see in this picture but I stamped in Pool Party with one of the flower stamps, I also stitched the card, I love doing this but rarely do as it's quite time consuming, but Ruth is definitely worth it.
Hope you like it as much a Ruth did.

Cupcakes For Maddy
Hello stampers,
If you saw my post on Sunday then you will already know that I was asked to make several cards for Maddy's 18th birthday last week. Today I'm sharing another one of these cards with you. I have mixed two DSP sets for this card, Everyday Enchantment and Spice Cake.
There are quite a few layers to this card, I started with Spice Cake paper in the background, I love the shape of the Top Note die, so I cut one in the retired Choc Chip DSP, cut it in half and placed it behind the central panels, next another layer of Spice Cake in the gorgeous Pool Party (I love this colour!!) on top of that is a strip of Everyday Enchantment. I couldn't resist adding some satin ribbon and a bow! I took the colours for the cupcakes from the DSP I'd used, so simple to make with a cupcake builder punch.
I'll have another card to show you tomorrow, hope to see you then, plus don't forget to check out this weeks Simply Stampin challenge, and Design Team call!! xx

Proud Peacock
Good Evening!
Some of you may have noticed a new badge on my side bar? Well I was super excited to find when I checked my emails the other day that I had been chosen for Artists Pick over at Hand Stamped Sentiments, I was so surprised to be chosen!
Now onto a card, I made this one for Saffron at wok to give to her mum for her birthday a little while ago. It uses a new stamp set in the mini called Proud Peacock.
I wanted to use peacock colours for the card and also managed to sneak in some of my new fav DSP Spice Cake too. The flowers around the sentiment are also in the Proud Peacock set, I just used my handy Stamp-a-ma-jig and got colouring.
Hope you like it! xx

Sketch Time At Simply Stampin'
Good morning,
Another freezing one, but I suppose we should be grateful that we don't have snow down here!
Anyway onto today's Simply Stampin' challenge, as the title says its another sketch, and it's a goody!
Another freezing one, but I suppose we should be grateful that we don't have snow down here!
Anyway onto today's Simply Stampin' challenge, as the title says its another sketch, and it's a goody!
I have been busy lately making commission cards for a friend, and this is another that I have made for her.
It uses my favourite DSP of the moment Spice Cake, and I combined it with the Lovely as a tree set for my image, here's a close up
I coloured onto stamp directly with my markers and then stamped the image, I water coloured the rest of the grass and then added a little more definition with the fine end of a marker over the top. To distress a little I used my Spritzer tool, a torn corner, which I stamped behind using A to Z, before sponging the edges of the whole panel.
I hope you can join me and the rest of the Design Team for this weeks challenge, I do love to see how everyone interprets the sketch differently.
Happy crafting, xx
