evidence for Mossad, CIA and Zionist or dual Israeli citizen involvement in
9/11. It is possible of course that these dual citizens or hard core American

On February 25, in the small town of Horsham in the United Kingdom, there
will be a rare and potentially groundbreaking opportunity for the 9/11 truth
movement. Three hours of detailed 9/11 evidence is to be presented and considered
in a court of law where the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will be
challenged over the inaccurate and biased manner in which it has portrayed the
events and evidence of 9/11.
Over the last 16 months, BBC has been challenged strongly by individuals in
the UK over two documentaries that they showed in September 2011 as part of the
tenth anniversary of 9/11, namely ‘9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip’ and ‘The
Conspiracy Files: 9/11 Ten Years On’. Formal complaints were lodged with BBC
over the inaccuracy and bias of these documentaries, which, according to 9/11
activists, was in breach of the operating requirements of BBC through their
‘Royal Charter and Agreement’ with the British public. This document requires
BBC to show information that is both accurate and impartial. These complaints were supported
by the US-based educational charity Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth
(AE911Truth), which submitted detailed scientific evidence to BBC to buttress
the complaints. The evidence focuses in particular on the confirmed free-fall
of WTC 7 and NIST's 2008 admission of this fact. In addition, over 300
AE911Truth petition signers supported these complaints by sending letters to
BBC, requesting that BBC show this evidence to the public.
A new generation of al-Qaeda offshoots is forcing the Obama administration
to examine whether the legal basis for its targeted killing program can be
extended to militant groups with little or no connection to the organization
responsible for the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, U.S. officials said.
In other
words, Obama just potentially painted a target on the back of every single
America.
The number of
anti-government groups in the United States is at an all-time high and has
increased 800 percent since President Barack Obama took office, according to a
Southern Poverty Law Center report.
The SPLC identified 1,360 so-called
patriot groups on the “radical right” in 2012, compared with
only 149 in 2008. Much of the growth came in Obama’s first term, but there was
a 7 percent jump from 2011 to 2012. The group, in its report on Tuesday, said
it expects numbers to spike again in the wake of the Obama administration’s gun
control proposals, noting a similar spike after the passage of the assault
weapons ban in 1994.
The SPLC wrote a letter to
the departments of Justice and Homeland Security asking for the creation of a
task force to examine the resources devoted to battling domestic terrorism.

wolves” into carrying out small-scale terrorist attacks inside the United
States and other Western countries, using materials as easily obtainable as
motor or cooking oil, sugar and matches to trigger massive traffic accidents,

Video demonstrates clearly how agent provocateur-police officers frame
peaceful demonstrators to get them arrested. On this video, an undercover cop
pushes a non-violent bystander (a journalist according to the video) against
uniformed police officers to get him arrested, and then the masked provocateur

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has customized its
Predator drones, originally built for overseas military operations, to carry
out at-home surveillance tasks that have civil libertarians worried:
identifying civilians carrying guns and tracking their cell phones, government
documents show.
The documents provide more details about the surveillance capabilities of
the department's unmanned Predator B drones, which are primarily used to patrol
the United States' northern and southern borders but have been pressed into
service on behalf of a growing number of law enforcement agencies including the
FBI, the Secret Service, the Texas Rangers, and local police.
I have warned our readers frequently that the
extrajudicial assassinations greatly favored by this administration as its
favored method of war are not going to stay in places like Pakistan, Yemen,
Somalia, or Afghanistan.
It is not too far a leap of
"logic" from believing that the President has the right to
extrajudicially assassinate Americans abroad to doing the same thing right here
in the USA.

New
evidence has emerged that all Guantanamo Bay detainees, including David Hicks,
were drugged involuntarily with a substance that has a long history as a truth
serum.
Recently
declassified US documents revealing medical procedures have shown that
scopolamine was administered to all detainees taken to the Cuban detention
centre.
The
documents, which were standard operating procedures for nursing staff, were
obtained by the independent US news outlet Truthout, and reveal that the
rationale for the drug's use on all detainees was to prevent motion sickness.
However,
US military experts have said that scopolamine is not recommended for motion
sickness because of its severe side effects.
Drone aircraft are used heavily by the military in countries such as
Afghanistan, but their usefulness for monitoring large areas from the air have
also seen them considered for service closer to home. The dangers of drones
regularly flying across our skies aren’t limited to privacy concerns, though.
Evidence of that can be seen in New York, where an unidentified drone came
dangerously close to a passenger aircraft as it was coming in to land.
This near miss underscores why drones are a
failure for any purposes of law enforcement. A single aircraft crash linked to
collision with a drone will create a public outcry demanding all drones be
scrapped, or severely limited to cases of demonstrated need, such as a hostage
situation. Random flights around the skies peeking in windows in the hopes of
catching someone doing something bad will not be tolerated.

Pyongyang announced Friday that it is nullifying non-aggression pacts with
South Korea and cutting the hotline with its neighbor. It comes after the UN
Security Council adopted a resolution expanding sanctions against North Korea.
North Korea “abrogates all agreements on non-aggression reached between the
North and the South,” the state-run Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of
Korea said in a statement.
“It notifies the South side that it will immediately cut off the North-South
hotline,” said the statement, which was carried by the official Korean Central
News Agency. They are also closing the main Panmunjom border crossing inside
the Demilitarized Zone
The Russian Defense Ministry sources said Saturday, the Russian military is
discussed in June this year, the Russian Pacific Fleet and Beihai fleet at sea
the Chinese naval real live-fire exercises, exercise locations in Japan
Haidabide Bay; in addition, the Russian " peace mission in -2013 "
air army joint military exercises are high-level multiple round
Russian nuclear forces conducted a major exercise last month that tested the
transport of both strategic and tactical nuclear weapons near Europe, according
to United States officials.
The exercise raised concerns inside the Pentagon and with the U.S. European
Command because it was the largest exercise of its kind in 20 years and
involved heightened alert status of Russian nuclear forces.
The nuclear drills were part of other military maneuvers in Russia carried
out between Feb. 17 and Feb. 21.
Some 4,000 Soldiers of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division,
out of Fort Riley, Kan., are training for realignment to U.S. Africa Command,
expected later this year.
The 2nd BCT, or “Dagger” Brigade as it is known, will be the first brigade
to be regionally aligned to U.S. Africa Command, or AFRICOM.
U.S. Pacific Command has had units regionally align to its area of
responsibility with similar training at Fort Irwin earlier this year.
Translation: the US government is going into Africa to martial Africa's
resources for the US, and keep them away from China.
Chavez also made the hemisphere much more dangerous by making Iran an ally
and allowing Hezbollah to operate inside Venezuela.
FOX News is pounding on this issue of Hezbollah
being inside Venezuela, which signals that the US is going to invade Venezuela
"To Fight Terror" but to actually gain control of the oil, the gold,
and the uranium, and to get rid of Chavez' silly notion that the wealth of the
nation belongs to the people of the nation.

Russian Communist Party head Gennady Zyuganov today demanded an
international investigation into the death of Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, claiming
it was “far from a coincidence” that six leaders of Latin-American countries
who had criticized the U.S. simultaneously fell ill with cancer.
“How did it happen that six leaders of Latin American countries which had
criticized US policies and tried to create an influential alliance in order to
be independent and sovereign states, fell ill simultaneously with the same
disease?” Zyuganov
told Russian state television, urging an investigation under
“international control” into Chavez’s death.
Zyuganov is accurate so far as his claim that six Latin-American leaders
were diagnosed with cancer within a relatively close period of time, most
notably Argentina’s President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who was diagnosed
with thyroid cancer in December 2012, although later
analysis proved that she had never actually suffered from the
illness.
Current Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Paraguay’s Fernando Lugo, and
the former Brazilian leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, have all been hit with
cancer in the last few years. In 2006 it
was also reported that retired Cuban leader Fidel Castro was
also diagnosed with cancer.
Zyuganov’s comments follow similar
rhetoric by Venezuelan Vice President Madurs, who in the hours
before the announcement of Chavez’ death accused “the historical enemies of our
homeland” of being responsible for Chavez’ cancer, claiming that Yasser Arafat
had also been “inoculated with an illness.”
Hugo Chavez himself once speculated that the United States had a cancer
weapon after being diagnosed with the disease in 2011. “Would it be so strange
that they’ve invented the technology to spread cancer and we won’t know about
it for 50 years?” he stated.
“Fidel [Castro] always told me, ‘Chávez take care. These people have
developed technology. You are very careless. Take care what you eat, what they
give you to eat … a little needle and they inject you with I don’t know what,’
Chavez added.
The fact that Chavez was almost certainly the target of numerous CIA
assassination plots has bolstered the belief amongst some that
his cancer could have been surreptitiously induced as a means of unseating
Chavez from power, successfully achieving what a 2002
coup failed to accomplish.
US corporate-financier funded think-tank, the American Enterprise Institute
(AEI), declared in its "post-Chávez checklist for US policymakers,"
that the US must move quickly to reorganize Venezuela according to US
interests. Upon its checklist were "key demands":

that outlines how Argentine president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner
diplomatically warned how a terrorist attack in Argentina could be be the world
of Israel. Kirchner made the remarks while in a confrontation with pro-Israel

espionage agency that knows of a new terror attack planned against Argentina.”
What Kirchner meant by “foreign espionage agency” was none other than the

Thousands of Haitian victims of a cholera epidemic widely believed to have
been caused by United Nations peacekeepers vowed to continue their fight to
hold the UN to account after it rejected their claims for compensation, citing
diplomatic immunity.
More than 8,000 Haitians have died from the epidemic and 500,000 people,
some 5 per cent of the population, have fallen sick since the disease entered
the impoverished Caribbean nation’s water system in October 2010.
Although Haiti has suffered from disasters and epidemics of many varieties,
it had been spared cholera for more than 200 years until the arrival of
Nepalese peacekeepers in the Mirebalais region, north of Port-au-Prince, in
2010.
As successive investigations have concluded, the peacekeepers’
base was not provided with efficient sanitation, and soon contaminated waste
began flowing into the Meille river, the main source of drinking water for
nearby villagers.

Not too long ago the new department of homeland security armored vehicles
hit the streets of America. The vehicles are massive and are built for nothing
short of all out war.
Now the RCMP is rolling out their new armored personnel carriers according
to a Navistar Defense Canada press release.
The models being employed by the RCMP will look more like this one.
The RCMP version comes with multiple gun ports, and can carry a full
tactical team.
As we watch countless police forces around our nation and even our national
police force the RCMP totally militarizing, we must stop. Take a step back and
ask is this really necessary? Do we need or want military vehicles in the hands
of local police? And most of all. When do we start calling Canada a total
police state?
Former high-level Greek diplomat Leonidas Chrysanthopoulos told the UK’s New
Statesman last week that discussions had taken place between senior Greek
politicians and the armed forces on the military’s response to what
Chrysanthopoulos described as an “explosion of social unrest” expected to occur
“quite soon.”
Chrysanthopoulos said that in the coming months, “There will be further
increases in armed actions. There will be bloody demonstrations.”
Without giving details, he said, “There are contacts by
certain politicians with elements in the armed forces to guarantee that in the
event of major social unrest, the army will not intervene.”
What the article fails to mention here is that
the Greek government has hired the notorious private military firm Academi
(formerly known as Blackwater) to protect themselves from a furious Greek

activities in Iraq, which now goes by the name 'Academi', along with five other
international for-profit security outfits. Explaining why this has happened, he

Coming soon to the US?
President Barack Obama has the authority to use an unmanned drone strike to
kill US citizens on American soil, his attorney general has said.
Eric Holder argued that using lethal military force against an American in
his home country would be legal and justified in an "extraordinary
circumstance" comparable to the September 11 terrorist attacks.
"The president could conceivably have no choice but to authorise the
military to use such force if necessary to protect the homeland," Mr
Holder said.
His statement was described as "more than frightening" by Senator
Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, who had demanded to know the Obama
administration's position on the subject.
"It is an affront the constitutional due process rights of all
Americans," said Mr Paul, a 50-year-old favourite of the anti-government
Tea Party movement, who is expected to run for president in 2016.

On Thursday we learned that the U.S. trade deficit widened in January by a
surprising 16 percent, to $44.4 billion. The $6.3 billion increase was almost
entirely the result of a sudden spike in oil imports. Excluding crude, the
deficit was basically flat at around $20 billion, according to Bloomberg.
What makes this so odd is that the U.S. is in the midst of a long-term trend
of reducing its dependance on foreign oil. By the end of 2012, the U.S. was
importing just over 8 million barrels of crude per day, about 25 percent below
the peak in August 2006 of 10.7 million. Yet, in January, the U.S. imported
$24.5 billion worth of oil, up from $21.2 billion in December
The number of Americans designated as “not in the labor force” in February
was 89,304,000, a record high, up from 89,008,000 in January, according to the
Department of Labor. This means that the number of Americans not in the labor
force increased 296,000 between January and February.
The increase marks the second month in a row, after rising in January from
88.8 million in December. Those not in the labor force had declined in December
from 88.9 million in November.

economy, it most likely is going to get worse, until we are looking at either a
world war, or a total collapse of the US economy.

Economic statistics released this week reflect a further weakening of the
world economy and a further fall in the living standards of the international
working class.
Reports on unemployment, manufacturing activity, economic growth and
personal income in Europe, China and the United States point to an overall
slowdown in economic growth and a rise in unemployment and poverty.
It’s a place where angels fear to tread; where criminals, frauds and
mysterious corpses turn up as regularly as rats in the metro. The Institute for
Works of Religion, commonly known as the Vatican bank, was set up in 1942 by
Pope Pius XII to manage the vast Vatican finances. Often referred to as the
world’s most secret bank, the operation is run by a CEO and overseen by five
cardinals who report directly to the Pope.
The bank’s official role is to safeguard and administer property intended
for works of religion or charity. The actual activities of the bank are
somewhat different. They include money laundering for narcotics traffickers,
bribery, skimming charitable funds to enrich priests, and tax evasion for
wealthy Italians.
Finance, Vatican-Style
The scandals associated with the Vatican bank, particularly over the last
four decades, are so sordid and improbable as to strain the creativity of a
supermarket tabloid. The Church’s past offenses of selling indulgences and
charging fees for sacraments have been updated for the world of modern finance,
complete with shell companies, speculation and secret transfers. (For more on
the antecedents of the current bank, see Betty Clermont’s handy
synopsis at Daily Kos.) Last year, Italian journalist Gianluigi
Nuzzi published
a book delving into the intrigue and corruption swirling in a bank
that has been answerable to no one. It was an eye-opener.
In May 2012, Pope Benedict XVI’s butler was arrested for leaking documents
bristling with claims of financial corruption and criminal activity involving
major Italian companies. The last Vatican bank chairman, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi,
was shown the door when it was revealed that the bank was running afoul of international
money-laundering standards. Leaked material and reporting reveals a bank that
appears to be a kind of rogue offshore vehicle favored by various kinds of
miscreants, including right-wing politicians, mafia types and tax evaders who
wish to hide their financial transactions. Kind of like HSBC, only with God’s
imprimatur.
Subsequent investigations have resulted in a shutdown of credit card
transactions at all Vatican venues; right now, God can only take cash. In an
attempt to restore relations with the international financial community,
outgoing Pope Benedict appointed
a new director of the bank, German lawyer Ernst von Freyberg, as one of his
final acts. So far that’s not looking so good, as Freyberg has been revealed to
have unfortunate
links with a company with a history of making warships, including
those produced for Nazi Germany.
British workers have seen their wages plummet faster than any other
workforce in a developed economy, a new study reveals today.
Real wages dropped by 4.5 per cent between 2007 and 2011, leaving workers
with smaller incomes at a time of rising costs for basic necessities such as
food, fuel, gas and electricity - not to mention housing costs.
This marks a considerably sharper squeeze than the 2.7 per cent fall in
Italy or 0.7 per cent drop in Japan, according to the report from the TUC.
Today John Embry told King World News that in the silver market there will
be a force majeure on the COMEX because of the massive short positions held by
JP Morgan. But first, here is what Embry, who is chief investment strategist at
Sprott Asset Management, had to say regarding gold: “I’ve been following the
gold scene for 30 years, and I believe it’s been subject to a suppression
scheme for probably the last 25 years. But I have never seen anything quite
like what’s gone on lately.”
John Embry continues:
“The question I ask myself is, ‘What is going
on?’ The very same factors that have driven the Dow to all-time highs,
which is basically just excess liquidity in the system, should, in a real
world, have driven gold and silver to record highs.
Instead they are both under enormous downside pressure
in the paper markets, despite the fact that the physical markets remain very
firm....
“Then the question I ask myself is, ‘What is bothering
the powers that be to the extent that they would do this, and become so blatant
that anybody with an IQ over (that of) a geranium can see what’s going on?”
Eric King: “John, what do you
think that reason is?”
Embry: “I think there
are one of two reasons really. The pat reason is that the system is in
such tough shape, and they are trying to sell the public on the fact that it
isn’t. Therefore, the canaries in the coal mine, gold and silver, which
basically tip the public off that things are bad if they are rising, they have
to be kept under control.
But I think there is another factor: I do
believe the powers that be are clever enough to know what’s coming and that is
going to be a massive explosion in the gold and silver prices before this is
over. And probably sooner rather than later.
So the people that have been front and center in the
suppression, the bullion banks, I think are trying to position themselves
differently so they are not going to be terribly vulnerable when the price
explodes. And it’s working. You see the amazing shift in the
Commitment of Traders Report, where more and more of the speculators are going
short, and the commercials are getting the opportunity to cover. So I
think that might be a motivation too.”
When asked about silver
specifically, Embry responded, “I think silver is one of the most
mispriced assets in the history of mankind. The very fact that it’s $29,
given all of the fundamentals surrounding it, and it’s down $5 or $6 in the
last couple of months is ridiculous.
The physical offtake in silver is enormous.
Inventories in the world are minimal. This is all being done with paper,
and the main culprit is JP Morgan with their massive short position. I
don’t know how that’s going to work out, but I honestly think there is a very
strong probability of some sort of force majeure on the COMEX before this is
over.”

A record-high Dow Jones industrial average and an upbeat hiring report
propelled global markets higher Wednesday.
This is a classic
bubble pattern. Analysts outside Wall Street, DC, and the corporate media are
all waving red flags.
An influential group of leading world banks warned Thursday that central
banks are pumping out too much easy money and markets risk becoming dangerously
addicted to ultra-low interest rates.
The Institute of International Finance, which groups 450 banks, said that if
central banks continue to flood money into the global economy, then any future
bid to get it under control could itself destabilize the financial system.
The number of homeless people sleeping in New York City shelters has risen
to a record of more than 50,000 people a night, according to a new report.
State and local governments nationwide have struggled to accommodate a
homeless population that has changed in recent years - now including large
numbers of families with young children. As the WSJ reports,
more than 21,000 children - an unprecedented 1% of the city's youth - slept
each night in a city shelter in January, an increase of 22% in the past year;
as homeless families now spend more than a year in a shelter, on average, for
the first time since 1987. New York City has seen one of the steepest increases
in homeless families in the past decade, advocates said, growing 73% since
2002, and "is facing a homeless crisis worse than any time since the Great
Depression."
Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel met with Israeli Defense Minister Ehud
Barak on Tuesday at the Pentagon to reassure him that the diplomatic window on
Iran is closing and that, despite tough fiscal times in Washington, exorbitant
amounts of aid to Israel would not be affected.
According to the Pentagon, “Secretary Hagel expressed his strong commitment
to Israel’s security, including maintaining Israel’s qualitative military edge
and continued US support for missile and rocket defense systems in spite of
fiscal constraints.”
At a time when sequestration is about to take a big bite out of the Pentagon
budget, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) will be sending
thousands of its citizen lobbyists to Capitol Hill next week to make sure
Israel is exempted from any spending cuts.
This could prove a very risky strategy at a time when millions of Americans
will be feeling the bite of the sequestration debacle, from the defense budget
to the school lunch program.
But not aid to Israel, which will be untouched if AIPAC gets its way.

Last year it was announced the U.S. was looking to build a secret
underground complex in Israel. On February 13 a contract was awarded to Conti
Corp Federal Services in Edison, NJ to complete the project.
Their bid of almost $63 million came in well below the possible $100 million
set aside for the project.
Warning: Forget the cuts, your brain is sequestered. That’s the real
problem: Your brain. That’s why the economy and markets will crash, a new Dow
high notwithstanding. Why it’s inevitable. Bigger crash than 2008. Longer
afterwards. No bank bailouts. Austerity worse than the Great Depression. Hunker

“to remove, isolate, set apart, retire, withdraw into solitude.” Think
post-trauma stress, paralysis, amnesia, lobotomized, entranced, just plain

The Fed balance sheet will likely be $5 trillion in toxic assets by the end
of 2014.”

of corruption and deceit was really taking place. . . . It’s a trillion times

The 17-nation eurozone sank further into recession in the last three months
of 2012 as the debt crisis continued to exact a heavy price, official data
showed Wednesday.
The eurozone economy shrank 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012
compared with the third quarter when it contracted 0.1 percent, the Eurostat
data agency said, confirming initial estimates given in February.
For the full 27-member European Union, the economy was 0.5 percent smaller
in the fourth quarter after a marginal gain of 0.1 percent in the third,
Eurostat said.
A recession is counted as two consecutive quarterly economic contractions.
IF any EU member nations skid out of control and
the Euro fails as a currency, it will
take the US right along with it.
If you had kept $20,000 in a bank savings account since 1913, you would
still only have $20,000 dollars in your bank account. But remember that in
1913, one would have been able to buy a very large house with $20,000 whereas
today, one can not even buy a decent new car with $20,000. Obviously, the
nominal amount of dollars has no meaning and accumulating significantly more
dollars does not make one richer as many American foolishly believe today. To
buy the same $20,000 house one could buy in 1913, since bankers have destroyed
98% of the purchasing power of the 1913 dollar with their counterfeiting
efforts over the last 100 years, one would now need 50X the amount of 1913
$20,000 dollars today, or a whopping $1,000,000 2013 dollars just to buy the
same house that $20,000 could have afforded you in 1913.
Another way of stating that is even if you had $999,999 2013 dollars versus
only $20,000 1913 dollars, you would still be poorer today than you were in
1913, an astounding fact.
Now imagine you had converted your $20,000 into gold
in 1913. In 1913, gold was priced at $18.92 an ounce. Therefore $20,000 would
have bought 1,057 ounces of gold. Instead of holding $20,000 in the bank since
1913, had you converted this COUNTERFEIT money in the form of US dollars into
the REAL money of gold and simply held 1,057 ounces of gold in a vault (granted
one outside of the US) since 1913, your 1,057 ounces of vaulted gold would now
be worth 1,057 ounces * 1,580 an ounce = $1,670,060 2013 dollars. And when gold
reaches $5,000 an ounce, these 1,057 ounces will increase from $1,670,060 2013
dollars to $5,285,000 future-year dollars.
It’s an odd question, we know – especially ahead of today’s Stress Tests,
but given today’s testimony on assessing the bank secrecy act, apparent
trouble-maker Elizabeth Warren pokes and prods (correctly we would add) at the
surreality that exists between the Department of Justice, The Treasury, and the
financial system. David Cohen, Tom Curry, and Jerome Powell dodged bullets and
blame, “does that mean essentially we have a prosecution-free zone for large banks
in America?”
But Warren wasn’t going to be fobbed off with useless banter as she pointed
out, “if you’re caught with an ounce of cocaine, the chances are good you’re
going to go to jail… for the rest of your life. But evidently, if you launder
nearly a billion dollars for drug cartels and violate our international
sanctions, your company pays a fine and you go home and sleep in your own bed
at night - I think that’s fundamentally wrong.” Indeed Ms. Warren.
Banks facing a barrage of lawsuits from customers accusing them of
interest-rate rigging argued on Tuesday that the cases should be dismissed,
saying there is no evidence of antitrust or other violations.
"The lending of
Western States and banks and the multilateral banks they control (importantly
including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Inter-American
Development Bank) was an important element in sustaining the long period of
military rule which followed the coup against President (Jacobo) Arbenz in
1954," the report states. "Particularly worrying, however, is the
very dramatic increase in lending that coincided with the highest waves of
terror, which reached genocidal proportions in the late 1970s and early
1980s."

And of course, the bankers making those loans, knowing what the cost was going to be in terms of human
suffering and death, went to bed each night with an absolutely clear
conscience.
The Dow is at a record high and so are corporate profits – so why does it
feel like most of the country is deeply suffering right now? Real household
income is the lowest that it has been in a decade, poverty is absolutely
soaring,47 million Americans are on food stamps and the middle class is being
systematically destroyed. How can big corporations be doing so well while most
American families are having such a hard time? Isn’t their wealth supposed to “trickle down” to the
rest of us? Unfortunately, that is not how the real world works. Today,
most big corporations are trying to minimize the number of “expensive” American
workers on their payrolls as much as they can. If the big corporation that is
employing you can figure out a way to replace you with a worker in China or
with a robot, it will probably do it.

The Nato-led Isaf force has apologised for the
deaths of two Afghan boys, killed when a helicopter fired on them, mistaking
them for insurgents.
The boys, aged under seven, were killed last month
in rural Uruzgan province.
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- An autopsy has revealed that Arafat Jaradat died of
extreme torture in Israeli custody and did not have a cardiac arrest, the PA
Minister of Detainee Affairs said Sunday.
At a news conference in Ramallah, Issa Qaraqe said an autopsy conducted in
Israel in the presence of Palestinian officials revealed that 30-year-old
Jaradat had six broken bones in his neck, spine, arms and legs.
"The information we have received so far is shocking and painful. The
evidence corroborates our suspicion that Mr. Jaradat died as a result of
torture, especially since the autopsy clearly proved that the victim's heart
was healthy, which disproves the initial alleged account presented by
occupation authorities that he died of a heart attack," Qaraqe said..

The US is sending the
artilleries, armored vehicles and different weapons systems of its troops
pulled out from Afghanistan to the rebel groups in Syria, a ranking US military
source disclosed on Saturday.
This, military experts say, has apparently made the US change the war
strategy in Syria and open new fronts in the country.
The US and its allies have been sending most of their arms cargos to the rebels
through Turkey, which neighbors Northern Syria. Just last week a Libyan member
of the al-Qaeda disclosed that France has supplied the rebel and terrorist
groups in Syria with Russian Igla anti-air missiles and even trained them how
to use these systems.
"Qaddafi's regime had good relations with the Russians and purchased
various weapons from them, including Igla anti-air missiles, which are similar
to the US Stinger anti-air shoulder-launched missiles," Othman Trablosi
said on Wednesday.
He said that after Qaddafi's regime collapsed and rebels came to conquer its army's
weapons and ammo caches, the French army which supported the Libyan rebels with
logistical and intelligence backups, collected 232 Igla missiles which were in
the hands of the Libyan fighters who were busy with fighting Qaddafi's
supporters.
"After that the French found some of the Libyan army officers who had been
trained to use Igla missiles and in September 2012 they used these offers for
training a number of al-Qaeda terrorists who ran operations in Syria,"
Trablosi explained.
"Then" he said "the French transited these al-Qaeda members and
the Igla anti-air systems from Benghazi to the Southern provinces of Turkey on
a Bulgarian cargo plane and then ferried them across the border into
Syria."
But after the US witnessed that the Northern front has failed to overpower the
Syrian Army, it has now changed strategy to intensify arms aid to different
rebel groups across the country to open new front, specially in the South.
Liz Sly and Karen DeYoung in an article in Washington Post in late February
reported an influx of heavy weaponry by outside powers to Southern Syria to arm
the Free Syrian Army.
"The new armaments, including anti-tank weapons and recoilless rifles,
have been sent across the Jordanian border into the province of Daraa in Southern
Syria in recent weeks," the Washington Post article quoted Arab officials
as saying.
The article quoted the same officials as saying that the arms include
"heavy weapons supplied by outside powers to the rebels battling to topple
President Bashar al-Assad".
The officials declined to identify the source of the newly provided weapons,
but they noted that the countries are those which are "most closely
involved in supporting the rebels' campaign to oust Assad".
"They include the United States and its major European allies, along with
Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the two
countries most directly involved in supplying the rebels. Security officials
from those nations have formed a security coordination committee that consults
regularly on events in Syria," the Washington Post article quoted the
officials as saying.
"The idea was to get heavier stuff and intensify supply" said an Arab
official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of
the operation, according to Washington Post.
Louay al-Mokdad, the political and media coordinator for the Free Syrian Army,
confirmed that the rebels have procured new weapons donated from outside Syria,
rather than bought on the black market or seized during the capture of
government facilities. But he declined to say who was behind the effort.
Another coordinator for the Free Syrian Army, whose units have received several
cargos of these new arms supplies since in mid-February, said "the goal of
the supplies also is to shift the focus of the war away from the North toward
the South and the capital, Assad's stronghold."

MOSCOW, March 2 (RIA Novosti) – Russia is facing a ‘real war’ aimed at
hampering the country’s legal deliveries of weapons to Syria, the head of the
Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation has said.
“A real war has been declared against us,” Alexander Fomin told Ekho Moskvy
radio on Friday without specifying who has declared the war.
The number of Syrians who have fled the civil war and urgently need help has
now topped one million, the United Nations' refugee agency said today.
The figure is based on reports from the agency's field offices in
neighboring countries that have provided refuge for families fleeing the
conflict between forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad and the Free
Syrian Army, said Antonio Guterres, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
'With a million people in flight, millions more displaced internally, and
thousands of people continuing to cross the border every day, Syria is
spiraling towards full-scale disaster,' Guterres said.
American, French and British instructors are providing training to Syrian
rebels at a camp in the Jordanian desert. Observers say that this camp can be
used as a bridgehead for the activities of US special troops in Syria, if
Washington finds that Bashar Assad is going to use chemical weapons.
(Sigh). Could the US government
and military possibly telegraph any more loudly that a false chemical attack is
coming to be blamed on the Al-Assad government as an excuse for an outright
invasion?!?
Probably
not.
The ill-treatment of
Palestinian minors held within the Israeli military detention system is
“widespread, systematic and institutionalised,” a report Wednesday by the UN
children’s fund found.
UNICEF in the 22-page report that examined the Israeli military court system
for holding Palestinian children found evidence of practices it said were
“cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment.”
“Ill-treatment of Palestinian children in the Israeli military detention
system appears to be widespread, systematic and institutionalised,” it
concluded, outlining 38 recommendations to improve the protection of children
in custody.
Over the past decade, Israeli forces have arrested, interrogated and
prosecuted around 7,000 Palestinian children aged between between 12 and 17,
most of them boys, the report said, noting the rate was equivalent to “an
average of two children each day.
The Israeli government and IDF will simply throw
this report into the garbage, and
nothing will be done to improve the lot of these imprisoned children.
