Feel Better Soon

I've gotta tell you, on days when you have NO MOJO, the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoast is a good way to get going!

Today's featured stamper is sumtoy . The card from her gallery that I chose to case is HERE . I used the same stamp set, which is the Dr. Pea-Nut clear stamp set from Our Craft Lounge. I changed the color scheme and parts of the layout.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with detail clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored with Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush.

The border on the top and bottom of the card front was made with a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice punch. The designer paper is from the Basic Grey Ambrosia paper pad.

I added Mini Flower Rhinestones on the panel to the right of the stamped image using my Quickie Glue Pen for adhesive. I hope that didn't make this card too feminine. I was going my best to keep it gender neutral.

The sentiment on the inside is also from the Dr. Pea-Nut stamp set. It was cut and embossed using my Labels Four Nestabilities .

The cardstock is Desert Coral Prismatics medium and Gray Prismatics .

I hope you're all enjoying your weekend. As for me...I'm off to try to find Mo & Jo. They are obviously missing.

Thanks for stopping by!

Life Is Sweet - FS122

I made just a little time this morning to play along with the SCS Featured Stamper challenge. This week's featured stamper is Kisa . I hadn't been to her gallery before, and I so enjoyed cruising around looking at all her fabulous cards!

The card I chose to case can be seen HERE . I used the same stamp and layout, but changed the colors, ribbon and patterned paper.

The stamp is from the Life Is Sweet cling stamp set by Our Craft Lounge. AND...all Our Craft Loungs stamps are on sale for 25% off at Stamper's Dream !

I stamped the image on watercolor paper, then colored with Tombow (water based) markers. I put a thin layer of Diamond Glaze on the sundae glass to make it glass-like. The sprinkles are mini rhinestones applied with a touch of Mono Multi Liquid Glue .

The cherry on top is from the Bling Cherries embellishments by Heidi Swapp.

The sentiment is also in the stamp set. I stamped and cut it out using my petite oval nesties. The ribbon is Rose 5/8" Sheer by May Arts.

The designer paper is from the Breaking Free paper kit by My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is Baby Pink Prismatics light and Frosted Teal Prismatics.

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday afternoon! I will be back tomorrow with a BIG announcement, and a full week packed full of new things! I hope to see you here then. :-)

SNAIL-abrate!

This card is for the Featured Stamper challenge today on SCS. You all know how much I LOVE to play along when I can find the time. Today's featured stamper is Mercy Kerin. You can find her SCS gallery here . I had not been there before, and it was such a treat. She has so many gorgeous cards and layouts, so be sure to go see for yourself!

You can see the card I chose to case HERE . I changed the stamps and paper, but kept the same general layout.

The main image and sentiments are from the Our Craft Lounge Snail Mail cling stamp set. The grass and flower stamps are from the Dr. Pea-Nut clear stamp set. Oh yeah...and you need to know that ALL Our Craft Lounge stamp sets are on sale in the store for 25% off!

The designer paper is Girl Friday from Cosmo Cricket. The paper pieced snail shell and pink polka dot strip down the side are the reverse side of the striped paper you see.

The cardstock is Island Mist Prismatics and Pink Prismatics .

The three dots on the bottom right are Baby Pink Candy Dots .

I hope you are all having a great holiday weekend, and have lots of fun plans. As for me, I'm going to be stamping...AFTER I clean out the garage. Yuk! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by. I will be back tomorrow with something new.

Dylan's Doodles

Last Christmas, Dylan (my 9 year old grandson) asked for note pads on his Christmas list. When I asked him what kind of note pads he wanted, he said, "Mimi, I just love to doodle and draw. So any kind will work." Needless to say, he received a plethora of note pads for Christmas from me, among other things! LOL!

Since then I've thought of Dylan's doodling, and decided to make him this special notebook using my new JustRite Stamper products!

First, I used my Harmony Rectangular Stamper and the Times Roman Font upper case and Times Roman Font Lowercase to write the word Dylan's. I stamped it on Neenah Classic Natural White using Jumbo Java VersaMagic ink.

I then used my Vertical Stamper (the narrow one) and the Times Roman uppercase and lowercase fonts to write the word Doodles. I stamped on my Acrylic Stamp Positioner . Then I removed the "D" from Doodles, inked the stamp and using the stamp positioner I stamped on the paper under Dylan's. Make sense? Perfect alignment...and so easy!

The notebook is one I found at Michael's for 66 cents! Don't you love a great deal? I covered it using Penny Lane Freebird paper from My Mind's Eye. I used my all time favorite Mono Multi Adhesive to glue all the paper down.

The stamps I used to embellish are from the Our Craft Lounge stamp set called Just Bugz . Aren't they adorable? I added some googly eyes and a little Stardust Stickles to the wings of the bug. I was doing my darndest not to make this girly. Do you think I succeeded? I can't wait to give it to him!!!

Just a reminder that we will have the Dreamy Treats giveaway going on. Be sure to see yesterday's post just below my Spellbinders post. You can win the JustRite product of your dreams if you're the lucky winner!

Ohhhhhh...I see that I just passed 150,000 hits on my blog counter yesterday. We must might have to do something to celebrate that tomorrow! :-)

Please be sure to visit Charmaine's blog to see what an awesome JustRite project she has for you today!!!

Thanks for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with something new.

Some bunny loves you

Before I get to today's card, I wanted to tell you that today is my Blogoversary! Woo hoo! And we will be celebrating next week with some fabulous Dreamy Treats. Also, next week the entire Dream Team will be posting along with me for a whole week of projects using the NEWLY RELEASED JustRite Stampers products! You won't want to miss it!

Okay...on to the card. All stamps are from the Our Craft Lounge Pea-Nut Bunny clear stamp set! I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow (water based) markers and a damp paint brush.

The stamps used for the inside are also in the set. I think what did here is really pretty self explanatory.

The designer paper is Penny Lane Tiny Dancer by My Mind's Eye. The cardstock is Pink Prismatics medium and intense, and Vibrant Pink Prismatics .

It's time to announce the winner of this month's Stamper's Dream Dreamy Challenge! I numbered each entry in the order they were posted, and this is the result:

Stamper's Dream Dreamy Challenge

This month the Stamper's Dream Dreamy Challenge is for each of the Dream Team members to CASE another DT member! Tosha drew names and gave us the assignment as to who could case whom, and my assignment was to case Tosh! Geez.....is it any wonder I was skeered? I mean, really!!!

The card I chose to case is her Tree-mendous Love card. I have been drawn to the fabulous design of that card since the first moment I saw it. Even though I have the Tree-mendous Love stamp set in stock, I decided to change it up a bit by using a different OCL set called Life is Sweet !

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow markers.

I added Heidi Swapp Bling Cherries to embellish.

The designer paper is Waterberry by Kaiser Craft . I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the punched lace border, and the sprinkles on the ice cream. The ribbon is by American Crafts. The cardstock is Blush Red Prismatics light and medium.

We would love for all of you to play along with this month's challenge! In fact, I have this prize for the lucky winner of the random drawing. All you have to do is case ANY of the Dream Team members and link your card in this post. Be sure to also include a link to the card you cased. If you post to the SCS gallery please use SDDC6 in the keywords so we can find it. I will announce the winner in my regular post on Thursday evening, March 26.

Check out what the rest of the Dream Team has come up with for the challenge! Charmaine , Cindy , Denise , Kimberly , Laurie , and Tosha

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm Nuts About You

This is the first chance I've had to play with the Our Craft Lounge stamp sets, and oh my gosh...they ARE fun!!!

The set I used is called Dr. Pea-Nut . I wanted this set from the first moment I saw it. It's very cool because you can make all different kinds of cards with it...Get Well, Valentines, or a card for the grandkids like the one I made.

I stamped my images on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored with Tombow (water based) markers then blended with a damp paint brush.

There is no need for a stamp positioner since these are clear stamps, so you can see where you're stamping. I love that!

The main image was cut with my Spellbinders Curved Rectangle Nestabilities.

The designer paper is from the My Mind's Eye Penny Lane collection called Tiny Dancer . The cardstock is Vibrant Pink Prismatics , Teal Prismatics medium, and Spring Willow Prismatics medium.

So...I'll bet you want to know who won the Dreamy Treats for the Stamper's Dream Dreamy Challenge? Do ya? Well I numbered each of the entries in the order they linked to my blog post, and this is what I got:
