Winter Birdhouse

Hi everyone! I'm so excited about my card today, because it was a pure joy to make.
The stamp I used is Stampavie's Winter Birdhouse by Tina Wenke! Isn't that the sweetest image? And I just LOVED coloring it with my Tombow Markers! I used White Opal Liquid Pearls for the snow, and sprinkled Ultrafine Transparent Glitter on it while it was still wet.

The image was cut with Spellbinders Labels Eighteen . The designer paper is from the Prima Marketing North Country 6 x 6 Paper Pad . The bow was made with May Arts 1" Teal Sheer ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic week!

Autumn Fun!

I hope you're all having a great holiday weekend! Mine has been awesome so far...and I have one more day off tomorrow! Gotta LOVE those days off...KWIM?

My card today features Stampavie's new Autumn Fun clear stamp by Laurence Designs. Since I think it's pretty self explanatory I'm just going to hit the high spots! But as always, if you have questions please feel free to email me.

The designer paper is from the new Prima Marketing Londonerry 6 x 6 paper pad . The bow was made with May Arts Brown Burlap String . The green flower is from the Prima Reflections Sugar Blooms collection.

The image was watercolored using the Tombow Markers pictured above. Yes, I got a little carried away with all those colors! LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a fabulous Labor Day holiday!

Blossom Birds

I know...this isn't my typical style. But I was in a "vintage" kind of mood when I created this card. I'm really anxious to use this stamp again to see what I can do with vibrant colors.

The stamp is Blossom Birds by Penny Johnson for Stampavie . Instead of using my usual Tombow Markers to color, I decided to use Prismacolor pencils with Gamsol to obtain a lighter and more muted look.

The sentiment is from the JustRite Stampers Friendship Blooms cling mounted stamp set.

The designer paper is from Melissa Frances . I added lots of distressing using Tim Holtz Distress Inks . The flowers were made with Martha Stewart Hydrangea punches. I added Mini Pearls to the center of each flower.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great week!

Bird and Bear Sweetness

What do you do when you have NO MOJO? Nada...none! Beats me! So I decided just to try putting together some pretty things and hope they help me to get back in the groove! :)

This adorable stamp is called Bird and Bear and it's from Penny Johnson designed for Stampavie. When I don't know what else to do, I just color! And I will tell you this WAS a fun stamp to color!

First I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The stamped image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush to blend.

I cut and embossed the image with oval Nestabilities, then cut and embossed the Majestic Purple Light layer with the NEW Spellbinders Big Scalloped Oval . Just for fun I added a scalloped oval layer behind that using Majestic Purple Dark Prismatics cardstock.

The designer paper is Basic Grey's Kioshi . The ribbon is May Arts Purple 5/8" Sheer . The buttons are from my stash, and they are threaded with May Arts Burlap String in pink , ivory and purple burlap string.

Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back when my mojo returns. Until then...
