The next day.....
Remember this hair do from the other day? Well, She went to bed with her hair still up. Thanks to Daddy! The next morning the braids were still perfect.
So, I just took them and did a simple weave into twisted buns.
I left a little extra hair out of each bun and ratted it. Then I spread it out so it went all around the bun.

Two types of braids
I just love this picture of her. She hasn't been in the best of moods lately(because she was sick), so seeing her smile is great.
I started off by parting her hair across from ear to ear. I put eight ponytails along the front of her head.
I rotated putting each ponytail into a regular braid, twist braid, regular braid, twist braid and so on......
I pulled it all back into a low side pony. added a bow and all done.

A down-do and bow holder
The kids are starting to feel better!!!! So Julia asked me to do her hair, I was thrilled! OK, I first parted the hair Straight across from ear to ear.
Then I made another part diagonally.
Working to the right of the diagnol part, I put in 3 rows of french braids, following the part. Then I went to the other side and did 3 more rows of french braids starting at the part and going down.
I twisted the 3 left braids together, and the 3 right ones together.
I twisted the 2 twists together on the left side. Add a small bow.
This is my first attemp at making a bow holder. I just bought the pre made wood princess sign, and an acrylic paint set from the dollar store. Then I hot glued the ribbon to it. Having somewhere to put all of her bows is GREAT!

Braided pigtails
Everybody in our house is getting sick! Oh, no! This is why Her eyes are so red. She will be sick by tomorrow.
Now for hair. Start by parting a "box" in the front. And another part straight down the middle of the back. Put the back sections into ponytails.
Part the front section again into 2 equal sections. Braid each of the two sections.
Pull braids back into the ponytail on the same side.
Braid 3 braids into each ponytail.
Now take the braids and flip them up. Secure them with an extra elastic. I put bows to cover the elastics. Then I used molding wax and ratting on the hairs above the bows.

A pretty flower do
I didn't really have anytime to take pictures this morning. So you get to read how to do this one. Julia asked for a flower, so this is what I came up with.
First put all of the hair back into one ponytail. Braid the ponytail into 5 braids. I ran some pomade through each section of hair before I braided it.
Flip each braid over and secure into the ponytails elastic. Move braids to where you want them. I threw in the pretty hair accessory (for lack of a better name).

braided piggies
Today I realized I was out of detangler. So I wanted to share a tip with you. I put a small amount of conditioner into a spray bottle full of water. Shook it up and sprayed it on her head. It works very well.
This one is pretty self-explanatory. I first put the front of her hair into 2 ponytails.
I put the back into 2 ponytails as well.
I used the 1st two ponytails to make a braid and then separated them at the bottom to put into my big pigtails.
Braid the back pigtails and that is it!!!!!! Very fast, but cute.

2 braided hearts for valentines day.
My house is very busy this week. Even more than usual. In my house we have 3 kids, my husband and I, my mother, 3 dogs and 4 cats. Plus my husband has 2 friends that think they live here. I threw this one together because I had very little time.
Firtst part the hair straight down the middle. Put into 2 pigtails.
Put each pigtail into 3 braids. Don't put the elastic at the ends too tight, you will be taking them out again soon.
Take the two outside braids and secure them at the top with an elastic. Shape them into a heart shape. Secure them with an elastic at the bottom, putting the 3rd braid right down the middle.
Now, take out the elastics holding the bottom of the braids. Her hair is still wet in this picture, but when it dried I curled the bottoms. You could even weave ribbon threw the braids for a little something extra.
