Hairdo for short or long hair

Today Julia had a friend over to play. I had the chance to do short hair, so I took it!!
This is basically the same hair do just a little modified for the length of each girls' hair. Also, there is a giveaway at Oh So Girly. Please mention That I sent you.

This, of course, is Julia. First part the hair straight down the middle. Start on one side at the bottom. Make puff braids going up her head. I made 3 sections. Repeat on other side.

Now take the rest of the hair and make a horizontal part ending at the temple area on each side. Put the back sections into ponytails, remember to bring your puff braid into each ponytail.

Take the front sections and cross them into the ponytails on the opposite side.

This is how the crossed over hair will look.

Put each ponytail into a messy bun.

Here's the back. Okay, now for the short hair.

Do puffy braids up the back, same as above on Julia. Instead of crossing over the front pull all hair into the ponytail on it's own side. Rat the ponytails and hairspray.

They had a lot of fun showing off their hair together.

an easy tiara do

She is still in her pajamas, but we did get dressed right after this.

First make a part down the middle of her head. Then make another part horizontally kindof far back on her head.

Now put another part right down the middle of the part you already sectioned off. Separate the back section into two again. Now pin back all sections besides the back 2 on each side.

Make 4 small ponies on the right side. Take the ponies and separate into 2 pieces each. Make another row of 3 ponytails, Adding the top ponies to them.

Repeat with the other side.

Now bring all of the hair back into 2 messy buns. Sorry about the part. She was having a wierd day, she just wanted to be moving I guess! LOL!

Here is the side view with the hair pulled back into the messy buns. Add bows. I really couldn't figure out how to explain this so I hope with the pictures too, you will understand it.

A commercial style

I saw this on a commercial last night. So we sat down and did it today. This is the first time she peeled an orange by herself! :(

Separate the hair into 3 sections. The one in the front will be the headband.

Put the 2 larger back sections into messy buns.

Part the front section with a diagonal part. Smooth each side of the part back behind the ear on that side. I used gel and a small comb. Secure the hair with a clip.

Curl the ends that are hanging behind the ears.
She has those darn hairs in the front that just won't stay up.

Three messy buns

I did this one the other day and thought it turned out great! I started by making 2 small ponytails. Right up in the front.

Take the rest of the hair and divide into 3 sections.

Take the 2 front ponytails and divide them into 2 pieces each. Take the middle pieces and put them into the ponytails oppisite of them. The outside pieces just go into the middle ponytail.

put the 3 large sections into messy buns.

I decided to use 3 bows. I got these bows from Bows 4 my 4 girls. Do you see that little dog in the picture above? That is my baby, Theodore Bear. Teddy for short. He is a Pomeranian. He will soon be a first time daddy.

She decided to stay in her pajamas all day. It was a cold and boring day.
