Braided pigtails
Everybody in our house is getting sick! Oh, no! This is why Her eyes are so red. She will be sick by tomorrow.
Now for hair. Start by parting a "box" in the front. And another part straight down the middle of the back. Put the back sections into ponytails.
Part the front section again into 2 equal sections. Braid each of the two sections.
Pull braids back into the ponytail on the same side.
Braid 3 braids into each ponytail.
Now take the braids and flip them up. Secure them with an extra elastic. I put bows to cover the elastics. Then I used molding wax and ratting on the hairs above the bows.

braided piggies
Today I realized I was out of detangler. So I wanted to share a tip with you. I put a small amount of conditioner into a spray bottle full of water. Shook it up and sprayed it on her head. It works very well.
This one is pretty self-explanatory. I first put the front of her hair into 2 ponytails.
I put the back into 2 ponytails as well.
I used the 1st two ponytails to make a braid and then separated them at the bottom to put into my big pigtails.
Braid the back pigtails and that is it!!!!!! Very fast, but cute.

an easy tiara do
She is still in her pajamas, but we did get dressed right after this.
First make a part down the middle of her head. Then make another part horizontally kindof far back on her head.
Now put another part right down the middle of the part you already sectioned off. Separate the back section into two again. Now pin back all sections besides the back 2 on each side.
Make 4 small ponies on the right side. Take the ponies and separate into 2 pieces each. Make another row of 3 ponytails, Adding the top ponies to them.
Repeat with the other side.
Now bring all of the hair back into 2 messy buns. Sorry about the part. She was having a wierd day, she just wanted to be moving I guess! LOL!
Here is the side view with the hair pulled back into the messy buns. Add bows. I really couldn't figure out how to explain this so I hope with the pictures too, you will understand it.

2 braided hearts for valentines day.
My house is very busy this week. Even more than usual. In my house we have 3 kids, my husband and I, my mother, 3 dogs and 4 cats. Plus my husband has 2 friends that think they live here. I threw this one together because I had very little time.
Firtst part the hair straight down the middle. Put into 2 pigtails.
Put each pigtail into 3 braids. Don't put the elastic at the ends too tight, you will be taking them out again soon.
Take the two outside braids and secure them at the top with an elastic. Shape them into a heart shape. Secure them with an elastic at the bottom, putting the 3rd braid right down the middle.
Now, take out the elastics holding the bottom of the braids. Her hair is still wet in this picture, but when it dried I curled the bottoms. You could even weave ribbon threw the braids for a little something extra.

A commercial style
I saw this on a commercial last night. So we sat down and did it today. This is the first time she peeled an orange by herself! :(
Separate the hair into 3 sections. The one in the front will be the headband.
Put the 2 larger back sections into messy buns.
Part the front section with a diagonal part. Smooth each side of the part back behind the ear on that side. I used gel and a small comb. Secure the hair with a clip.
She has those darn hairs in the front that just won't stay up.

knotted ponytails
This is something easy, quick, and fun. I first put her hair in 2 pigtails. I made them a little high up on the head and toward the outside of the head.
I then put a knot in each ponytail. Going from the under side of the ponytail.
I pulled the pontails tight and spread them to cover the elastic. I added bows. I got these bows from www.bows4my4girls.com.
She has a little rash on her cheeks from the cold. We still have about 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. It melted a lot. We did have around 6 feet!!!! In this next picture she looks like she doesn't have any front teeth (she does) LOL!

Fairy Princess Crown
I haven't had anytime lately to post anything. All of a sudden my daughter and I have gotten really busy. So now that it is Sunday I finally had time for a post. Anyways, Julia decided to call this one her fairy princess crown. I know her face is dirty in this picture. She was eating chocolate while I was doing her hair. LOL.
First of all I started by hot gluing these cute little puffballs (which I got from Wal-Mart) to the tips of bobby pins. While those were drying I started on her hair.
First I put 4 ponytails along the front of her head. Easy enough!
Next, I used a pipe cleaner to pull the ponytails threw themselves to make knots in each one. I just ran the pipe cleaner under the elastic in the middle of each ponytail, wrapped the front of it around the ponytail itself and pulled it threw from the back.
Ok I hope I explain this part in a way everyone can understand. Here it goes....
I then made a second row of 5 ponytails. Seperating the ponytails in the first row into two peices each and connecting them to the adjacent ponytails in the second row. Pull the second row into knots just like the first row.
I then made a second row of 5 ponytails. Seperating the ponytails in the first row into two peices each and connecting them to the adjacent ponytails in the second row. Pull the second row into knots just like the first row.
Seperate the back into 2 sections. Put into ponytails. Twist each ponytail into a bun, leaving a little on the ends out.
Curl the tops of the buns (the parts you left out). Spray with hair spray. Next take the dried bobby pins and insert into the middle two ponytails in the front row and the middle 3 ponytails in the second row. The balls themselves should be in a kind of cradle from where you knotted the hair. All finished!

railroad crossing
I took each side and put them in connecting ponytails. Right about to the middle of her head.
This is about where I stopped.
Then I took it and did the same thing but going up from the back of her head.
Repeat with the other side.
Now I took all 4 ponytails and tied them just as I would tie for the first part of tieing a shoe. I then clipped it with these pretty purple butterfly clips. You could curl the ends. I didn't because my daughter's hair is already curly.
Isn't my baby girl beautiful?
