Loving my wall hangings at the moment.  The main part of my project is a recycled cardboard box, the idea came from a very talented lady Hels Sheridan.  Thanks for the inspiration Hels..
The mount board has been painted with Acrylic paints and then lightly painted with Creative Inspirations paints to give it a wonderful sheen (which unfortunately can't be seen in the photos :0(
I have used treasure gold to give the cardboard and edge of the mount board an aged look.

The Christmas tree has been distressed using Distress inks and Fine Detail White Embossing powders..

Christmas Time Decoration

Hello all you Cheery Lynn fans and welcome to Sunday, I would like to show you what I have been up to over the week and as its very nearly Christmas I have made another Christmas decoration using Cheery Lynn Dies
Dies used for this project

If you are just starting your collection of cheery lynn dies you can still create something wonderful with a little imagination.. The rolled flowers have been created using the Classic Circle purple series stacker dies, I used No 2 die (1 being the smallest and 6 the largest) for the rolled flowers.  No: 4 for the base and the corresponding silver series die to create a layer effect..  I have inked the edges and the leaves in walnut satin distress inks and coloured in copics.
Don't forget we have two blogs this one which is our inspiration blog and our challenge blog, where we have a new challenge for you each week starting on Monday's and the prize is $20 voucher to spend in the Cheery Lynn Store.  You must use at least one Cheery Lynn Die to enter..

Christmas Decoration - Cheery Lynn

Morning all, not long until Christmas, it my most favourite time of year. I just love getting the decorations out and up, this a big family affair and takes us over a couple of days to get them all up and working..
Anyway, I want to show you a Christmas decoration I make using Cheery Lynn Dies.  Why not head on over to Cheery Lynn Challenge blog and enter into our weekly challenges.

Cheery Lynn Dies that you will need for this creations are:

I started with the largest doily Stacker and added the two circles to it.  I decorated with Distress inks and copics the stamps are Magnolia and Lilly of the valley details can be found on my blog.

All the stacker series of dies can be used together, but to create that layer effect use the purple stacker as the base and the silver stacker as the top layer as these are slightly smaller.

Thanks for viewing today and don't forget to pop back every day to see up the other ladies in the design team have for your viewing pleasure..
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
