Cheery Lynn - French Flair Easel Card

Hello all you Cheery Lynn Fans and welcome again to your Sunday inspiration.  This week I have a Shaped Easel card to show you made using Cheery Lynn French Flair Stackers.  For the card and the base I used the biggest stacker then went down two sizes to create the layered effect.

I used the scalloped circles to make this cheesecloth flower.. The stamp is a new one from Lilly of the valley and the sentiment is from Whimsy stamps..

Here is a close up of the mini and medium roses that I have shaped using an big balled embossing tool the centres are Candi (legless brads). Around the edges I used the wreath leaves.

The inside view, using the scalloped circle  and silver classic circle stackers using them together they create the prefect layer effect.

Here's a closer look at the cheesecloth flower

The flower in the background you can see the flower that I created using the build a flower stamens..
Don't forget to check out Cheery Lynn's Challenge blog where there is a new challenge very Monday.

All Coved Up!! - Coved Rectangle Easel Creation

Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening Cheery Lynn fans and welcome to Thursday.  Very nearly the weekend and only 5 more days until the exciting May Release Day (Tuesday 15th May).  Sshhh... I'll let you into a little secret.. all the new dies are simply gorgeous!!! Can't wait for you to see them..

Making shape easels are so easy using Cheery Lynn Dies they are always so effective.  This week is a first for me a Coved Rectangle Easel card. It turned out so well don't know why I haven't made one before...

Cheery Lynn Dies I used
I was so happy with the way this card turned out and with the colours that I used.  I think the
greens and pinks go really well with the touch of brown.

I have carried the checked paper through to the flowers and added a sprinkle of glitter.  Just peeping out from behind the flowers is that gorgeous Lace Rose and Flourishes die.  I cut the rose off and just used the flourishes.  I really wanted to used the rose so I placed it peeping out from  behind the image.  So I got two dies for the price of one.. lol

This flower I have teamed it up with the Judy's Blooms die and the Roses sprinkled with glitter.

The inside of the easel card, love how this all came together..

Thanks for visiting me today hope you liked the coved easel card.  Don't forget to visit and enter into our challenge this week over on the Challenge Blog.  Our theme is "Shades of Purple" with a chance to win a $20 Coupon to shop in the Cheery Lynn Store.  Also remember to check out the Inspirations blog every day as one of the design team will have a new project to show you with new ways to use Cheery Lynn's fantastic Dies

Other Craft Items

Oooo La La, Have you got the French Flair?

Morning peeps, my inspiration for you on this Sunday morning is another shaped easel card.  This time I have gone for a new design - The French Flair.  It just seemed fitting as I used some new papers "En Francais" from Prima. I teamed up with some exciting dies from the one and only Cheery Lynn...
Cheery Lynn Dies used to create this card
XL - 12 French Flair Classic Stackers These dies come in a set of 6 with a clear plastic backing making it easier to view what you are cutting.

Other Crafting Supplies
Magnolia Stamps, Lilly of the Valley Circle Sentiments, Tim Holtz - Film Strip, Scrim, Lace, Jute, Velvet Ribbon and Ribbon Slider.  Copic's and Distress Inks

The sentiment has been stamped using Vintage Photo DI's, the smallest French Flair die was used to create a small tab.

Here's a close up of the roses that I created. I stamped a small swirl onto the front. Used oodles of distress inks to create a darker colour, folded the petals in half to achieve a more pointed petal.

Join us over on  Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge Blog tomorrow (Monday 16th April 2012) for the start of a brand new challenge and theme - Birthday.
