Di's Digi Design Challenge: Fall/Autumn

 

I'm joining the current Fall/Autumn challenge at Di's Digi Designs with the new Autumn Fox digital image.

The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto papers from my stash.  I am getting a head start on my Thanksgiving cards this year.  I love the Fall colors!

Gecko Galz Stamp Challenge - September

 

I very recently came across the Gecko Galz vintage printables. Such fun stuff!  They are also hosting a stamp challenge on their blog featuring this fun pumpkin digital image.  I couldn't pass up the challenge!

The pumpkin was colored with Prismacolor pencil and blended.  I used alcohol markers for the leaves and acorns.  Pattern paper is from my stash.

Gerda Steiner Share Your Designs Challenge - September

 

I'm playing along with Gerda Steiner's Anything Goes challenge this morning.  My card features one of Gerda's retired digital images called Warm Fuzzies Bear.  I thought he worked great for this little Fall scene.

The cute bear and mug were colored with Prismacolor pencils and alcohol markers then fussy cut.  The scene was created with the Spring Scene Builder die from SugarPea Designs.  I added a pumpkin and mushrooms from Unity Stamp Company.

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is currently hosting an optional monochromatic challenge.  Of course, I had to give it a try!  I really like how this turned out ... 

All papers are retired from Stampin' Up's In-Color series.  Love this yummy Peach Parfait.  The mousey from Stampendous was embossed and colored with Copic Markers.  I finished the card with a small piece of lace and a retired (2001) Thanksgiving sentiment from Stampin' Up.

The current challenge at Art Impressions is Fall.  I love the adorable critters in the AI Full of Thanks set.  This turkey incognito cracks me up! 

I kept the design clean and simple.  The turkey was colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Power Poppy Blossom Challenge - Sentimental

 

I'm sharing a birthday card with Power Poppy's Sentimental Challenge.  My card features the Power Poppy Digital Bird in Berries image.  The birthday sentiment is an older unmounted image which was stamped in VersaClaire.

The image was colored with Copic Markers and layered onto papers from Stampin' Up!

Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge - It's Hip to be Square

 

I'm joining the current challenge at Hero Arts with a fun mixed media mini slimline design card.   I was going through my Hero Arts products and found this 2002 wood mounted stamp - H2496 Evening Dress - that worked perfectly.  

The base panel was inked with a sponge then square dies were used to trace the square pattern.  Finally, black acrylic ink was splattered and gems adhered.

I heat embossed, colored and fussy cut the vintage lady image.  It was popped up with dimension tape.  The birthday sentiment is from Crafty Secrets (retired).
