Christmas Card No 6 - Christmas Pudding

This is a really old stamp, one of the first ones I bought off Ebay in my early crafting days.  I think it's Anita's and today I've coloured it with Promarkers and combined it with LOTV papers.

This is my 6th Christmas card so far, not a huge start, but as they say at Tesco - Every Little Helps!

Challenges;

Grumpy Robin

For all the Christmas stamps out there, there is a distinct lack of robin's in my mind. I have a couple of Penny Black stamps with robins on them, but this is the only stamp I have to just feature a robin on his own-e-oh! Sadly he doesn't look that happy either - think his best friend is Mr Turkey!

Anyway, my card uses this Anita's stamp & the lovely papers called St Nick by Fancypants.

& I'm entering him into the Winter Wonderland challenge of robins, Jx

Christmas Pudding

This is one of the first Christmas stamps I bought several years ago, probably from Ebay, but I can't remember. The label is off, but I seem to think it was an Anita's stamp - could be wrong. The papers though are Dovecraft.

To add a bit of dimension to my card I've raised the creamy topping & holly onto pads.

This card is for both the Winter Wonderland Challenge which this week is set on Christmas Food as well as the Bah Humbug Challenge which is our pick. Jx

PS Thanks again Kate for the blog candy!

Crazy 4 Catz!

It has to be said, I'm a bit daft on cats. I love them all, which is probably why our house always seems to have at least one on the go. There's Femo our own cat, Tommy the stray who I now like to call mine also. But then there's Huntleigh & Slick - both neighbouring cats who hav found our cat flap & food! Even my husband's initials spell CAT!

Anyway, enough rambling & onto the CAS card. Image, Cat Blocks by Inca Stamps; Coloured with Promarkers & backed onto Cuttlebug embossed panels.

The card is made using the layout in the Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge. Jx

"I" for Indigo & Ice

Thought I'd better do another Christmas card to keep up with the 1 a week challenge over on Do Crafts along with the ABC Christmas Blog Challenge

This week it's letter "i" for Indigo & Ice - think my card's more ice than indigo, but it's so hard doing Christmas cards when the weather is so sunny. Infact it's very hard doing anything indoors at the moment. You've got to make the most of the sunshine, we don't often get it so good - so today I was gardening then I went for another run. Then the day was rounded off with a BBQ.

I'll also enter this one into CHNN - Use Diecuts - Round & Scalloped nesties used.

Wedding Acceptance

Well my acceptance card is all ready to be posted, but Wills & Kate need to hurry up with my invite, they're cutting it a bit fine now & for all they know I might have something else planned!

So, my card - normally when I do a wedding card, I personalise it with the date & couples names, so as this one isn't for a specific wedding, I made it an acceptance card instead.

I've used my very old (2002 Anita's stamp) & a new piece of ribbon as my something old something new, sorry no borrowed or blue this time & I'm entering the following challenges;

Sketch n Stash
- Sketch + old stamp, new ribbon.
My Partner in Crafting Crime - image inspiration - Pink & Cream wedding flowers.

Holly

H is for Hot Spot over on this weeks ABC Christmas Challenge, but it's also H for Holly on my card. Can't decide if I like this one or not. I think the black circle should be thinner, but I used the consecutive sized nesties which I had & couldn't really justify buying another set! (Or could I!)

I also followed the Sketch Saturday layout so I'll enter that challenge too.

Monochrome Sun Flowers

Thought I'd try something a bit different this time - has it worked...you tell me? I really want to learn more about Promarkers, and after reading bits on Debbi's blog, I thought this would be worth trying. So my card is made using my Anita's stamp, Doodlebug papers, & obviously my Promarkers - Warm Grey Shades. I've finished the card off with the palest of pink hearts & a ribbon.

I'm entering this card into a couple of challenges, namely, Moving Along With the Times as I used their great sketch, & The Crafty Cardmakers Challenge which is Floral.

Rudolph

I struggled with this card 2 nights ago when I tried to do the corner diagonals in paper. With a change of plan and a raid on the ribbon box my card eventually came together!

I followed the sketch on Sketch Saturday, so I'll enter my card in that one. I also used a reindeer, which was this weeks Bah Humbug Challenge.

I also added distressing which was last weeks Oldie But Goodie Challenge - missed that one, but luckily for me, this weeks challenge is glitter so hey ho, it can do that one as well!

Finally, the ABC Christmas Challenge is X for Christmas with the optional added extra of flowers, so I popped one onto my snowflake.

My stamp is Anitas & the paper Dovecraft from a coulpe of years back.
