Beautiful Bunch Swap.

A swap card I revived from the lovely Miranda.

Using the Beautiful Bunch stamp set.

The simplicity of the background makes the flower really standout, with a great colour combination of Blackberry Bliss and Wild Wasabi.

Just Beautiful! Thank you Miranda.

Christmas Swaps.

Hi, I finally got some computer time, with the kids home I don't get on it as much a I would like. We are counting down the days till Christmas, Zach is very excited, he even spoke to Santa but he is still not sure about sitting on his knee. If I'm really lucky I'll get a photo of him with Santa later this week.

We had a really fun night at our Passion 4 Paper group meeting recently, thank you Angie for hosting it. So here are the Christmas swap cards we swapped. I'm really looking forward to our next meeting, it's so good to get together.

Just in case I don't get back on here before Christmas I want to wish you all a fantastic Christmas with lots of Love, Peace & Joy.

Merry Christmas.

Passion 4 Paper Swaps

Hi, today I have the swap cards from our recent Passion 4 Paper team meeting to show you. The theme of the swap was to use scraps with a new stamp set from the new catalogue. This was harder for some of us than others (me) but everyone has done a fantastic job.
This first card was made by Angie using the Morning Cup stamp set, using up left over punched shapes.
Christine used the level 1 hostess set Because I Care, using left over strips of card for the background.

Julie made this cute little pillow box using up scraps of DSP and ribbon. With the greeting from the Perfect Punches stamp set.

Teressa made this peek a boo owl card with the Woodgrain background stamp using scraps of card to make the owl.

Here is a close up of the owl.And for my swap I made a Christmas card using the scrap bits of card that I had punched the ornaments out of, used as a template and spritzed over. Stamp set is Contempo Christmas.

So we hope this gives you some ideas with using your scraps and left over bits.
Have a great day.

Swaps.

Hi, I am currently at Brisbane Stampin' Up! Regional's. I really love attending Stampin' Up! events where I get to meet and catch up with other demonstrator friends, learn new techniques and have lots of fun. I also love to swap cards and ideas with other demonstrators. I made three different cards to swap all using the same technique, Shadow Dancing, but with different stamp sets.
Shadow Dancing is where you first stamp an image in Craft Whisper White ink, let dry, then using a stamp a ma jig stamp again but slightly over to one side, in the same colour ink as the card. It gives a really cool 3D effect.

On my Friends card I have used the Friends Never Fade stamp set in Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White. Adding a couple of black brads, black ribbon and Black scallop square punched out shapes. I have also ruffed up the Melon Mambo edges with the cutter kit. Hard to see in this photo but I have added a bit of dazzling diamonds to the centre of the flower.

On my Merry Christmas card I have used the Contempo Christmas stamp set in Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White. Adding silver brads and Old Olive ribbon. The greeting is on a die shape from the Lots of Tags die then layered on a wide oval punched out shape. Again I have ruffed up the Real Red edges with the cutter kit.

My Party card is great for teenage boys. Using the Extreme Guitar and Extreme Elements stamp sets on Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White card. The greeting and Party this way arrow are from the Party this Way stamp set.

I'll have lots of great swaps to show you next week.

Another Swap.

I forgot to show you the swap I made for the Passion 4 Paper swap challenge. It's a cute gift box made out of the scallop envelope die. I joined 4 together to form the box and decorated it with the Vintage Vogue stamp set in Melon Mambo ink.

Can you see the dazzling diamonds on the flower?

I made an extra one to give as a thank you, filled with chocolates, for a very special Mum from playgroup. I hope she likes it.

Swaps

Good Morning Stampers, last week the Passion 4 Paper girls got together for some stampin fun. Each time we get together we have a swap challenge. This time we had to make something using a stamp set out of the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue using one or more of the new colours. Rich Razzelberry, Melon Mambo, Soft Suede. Well the girls certainly came up with fabulous cards and all completely different, using different stamp set.

Christine used All a Flutter.

Julie used Tote-ally Tess and Cottage Garden.

Teressa used Pony Party.

Angie used Cottage Garden and Heard from the Heart with the Extra-Large Two-Step Bird punch.

We always have a great time when we get together and I can't wait until our next time.
Have a great day.

So I have my Swaps I made for Convention to show you. Then in my next post I have all the highlights for you. Convention was awesome!

My first swap, I only made 5 of these as they were taking too long to make.

My second swap I made 40 of these. It's a single layer card using the reverse masking technique.
I received so many fantastic swaps which I'll show you soon.
