Sweet Treats!

This card is taking an idea that was shown in our Stamp Club. This is a tri-fold card with a twist. I used a Halloween theme. The papers are from Making Memories. The Scary Fence and Spider web punches are Martha Stewart. Franke is a Whippersnapper stamp. The Sentiment is from Northwoods and Bats are stamps from Amuse. The cut out is a die-namics die from My Favorite Things. The Spider gem is from Memory Box. The fence and papers were distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Below is a look at the inside:
Happy Stamping!!

When you're Hot, You're Hot!

This HOT fireman is from Whippersnapper. The image was colored again with Copic markers. The smoke was airbrushed with the Copic airbrushing system and a template. The fire die cut was made from my swirl sizzix die and airbrushed with a lipstick red copic marker. Notice I use some more metal embellishments from Memory Makers for this card, using the red ribbon to hold the washer on. This fireman can be a cute birthday card, an anniversary card for your sweetie or just a note of encouragement, like this sentiment suggest. Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Little Dude

Here's another stamp from High Hopes. The amuse saying "Happy Birthday, Little Dude" is perfect with this image. The hardware of the tabs and label plates, made this a more boyish feel. I love to use embellishments on my cards, but it is harder to find the right embellishments for the boy cards. Flowers don't work, ribbons are okay but sometimes have too much of a feminine feel. These metal embellishments work great! I used the Nestabilities Label 3 on this card too. Add a little faux stitching with the ScorBug and the card is done! Yee Haw!!

Congrats!

I had the occasion to make a baby card...and I'm about 4 months late....so I decide to go for more of a *boy* card!
This little image is by High Hopes, colored with Copics and I highlighted the buckles and glass with Spica Glitter Pens. Designer Paper is by Cosmo Cricket....perfect with it's subtle woodgraining and distressing for a little boy...just ask me how I know!!
I'm not sure the company on the ribbon...but I know I got it at the Stamp Shoppe, and I need to get some more, I love it for little boy projects! The Rub-ons are by Making Memories, the brads by Dress It Up!

Just for You!

Just had to love those temperatures yesterday....SPRING is coming, I'm sure of it!!

This little ladybug from Whippersnapper designs was just begging to hop on this card! I colored her with Copic Markers and highlighted her with Spica Glitter Pens.

She is layered on two panels that have been cut with the Nestablilities Labels Two dies. I loved the shape, it gave little Miss Lady a place to stand!

The designer paper is by Cosmo Cricket and makes for a cheery card. I used some Conchos from Scrapworks to surround my gems for a fun and different looking embellishment. They are easy to use...just place your gem and then pop a concho over the top and flatten the little legs on the back with your piercing tool or bone folder.

I framed my ribbon with Fiskars Threading Water edge punch...love the lacey look it gives the card and the interest it adds to the ribbon.

Just for you is by Printworks. The card is finished off with faux stitching and distressing done with Making Memories scuffer.

Celebrate Life!

Hee hee! I thought you needed to see another one of these sweeties!

I colored her with Copics and the Spica Glitter Pens. Glitter paper is by Doodlebug.

Hint: Use glue dots to attach your image to glitter paper if your normal adhesive won't stick.

Flowers are by Prima, tag is by Making Memories.

Hint: Use wide ricrac to *frame* your image for a fun look. ~michelle~
