Winter's Reflection

With our first snowfall of the winter season yesterday, I thought that this Winter's Reflection image is perfect for today.  This stamp is a new from the Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Holiday release.  I love the images of other deer stamps that they carry and would be perfect along with it.  The papers are from Paper Loft and have the woodsy, masculine mood to them...perfect for this forest scene.  The sentiment was from a clear set and was cut out with an oval die.  The small pieces of holly were cut from a larger holly leaf die from Cheery Lynn.  Check out more holiday samples on the PPRS blog.  Keep warm and drive saftely...it's that time of year!

Black Capped Chickadees

Today I am using the Black Capped Chickadees stamp from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  This is the first time that I colored them as Chickadees.  I love to color them as some springy Blue Birds and that works good too.  My good friend Michelle and I had a stamping day last week and we got lots of cards made.  This was one of the cards that I did.  I have been using my new Brother Scan and Cut...and love it!!  These birds were cut out using the machine.  The dies that I used are all from Cheery Lynn Designs.  Then I stamped the Birthday Sentiment onto cream card stock.  Then I used the removeable tape to mask off the edges and sponged the banner with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Finally I used the Black Viva Pearls to add a bit of interest to the banner.  More creative ideas??  Check out the PPRS blog next!

Happy Spring

Hope you all enjoyed the hop last week.  A big congratulations goes out to the three blog hop winners!

Today we are looking for Spring and beautiful sunny days.  I used the Girl with Basket stamp from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  I colored her with Copic Markers.  Then I used vintage paper from the Paper Loft as my background.  Then I finished it off with the Picket fence and the Leaf flourish dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The Scatter Kindness Sentiment was taken from the Hibiscus 2 Clear set.

If you were inspired during our hop last week, we hope that you continue to follow us every Monday on the PPRS blog for lots more inspiration.

It's your day to Shine!

Here is the lighthouse from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  For the background accent, I used the gauze die from Cherry Lynn Designs.  The extra embellishments are flags made from Washi Tape and strung on a line of Divine Twine.  The sentiment is stamped onto a tag that was cut out with a MFT die.  The background paper is from Heartfelt Creations and Paper Loft.  Check out the PPRS blog for more ideas today!

Prickley Pear New Release Day 4

Today I am using the new HH0029 Tools ATC stamp for the background of my card.  I stamped the image with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.  Then I faux stitched around the edges with my ScorBuddy and ScorBug.  Finally, I sponged around the edges with the Pumice Stone Distress Ink again.  I used the FF0126 Vintage Cadillac as my focal piece.  I added some cut out letters for the "DAD" sentiment and some bronze Candi too.  The background paper is all Paper Loft Shades of Gray Collecton.  Check out more great ideas...

Explore!

This card is going to be my son's birthday card this year. He's a little outdoorsman when his nose isn't stuck in a book or when he's not off on an adventure with Reader Rabbit on the computer!

I colored the image from High Hopes with my Copics. I added faux stitching and some distressing to make it a bit more masculine. I love this ribbon that I picked up at The Stamp Shoppe. I was thinking for scrapbooking school photos....so now I might need to get some more!!

The designer Paper is by Paper Loft, if I remember right!

Penny Black Stickeroos!

Penny Black's Stickeroos are just the ticket for a very classy card done quick! I used two of the eight stickers on the sheet and came up with two nice cards. The designer paper is by The Paper Loft. Just Because is by A Muse and is stamped in black Stazon ink. I layered the stickers on cardstock and then added the glitter dots for a bit of pizazz! I will be back with some more of these quick cards soon....how fun for a change of pace! ~michelle~
