INSTANT OATS DOSA

Oats dosa is super crispy and healthy which can be preparated in Jiffy using simple ingredients. The onion bite with a flavour of ginger and green chilli is soo yum. Guys, dont go with the looks of my dosa ๐Ÿ˜› because the method of pouring batter on the tawa am learning still ๐Ÿ˜hehe. I served this crispy dosa with green chutney and sambar.

 INGREDIENTS

3/4 Cup Roasted and Powdered Oats

1/2 Cup Rice flour

1/2 Cup Wheat flour or Rava

1 tsp Grated Ginger

2 Chopped Green chilly

1 Chopped Onion

Few Chopped Curry leaves

Few Chopped Coriander leaves (optional)

Salt to taste.

2 1/2 Cup Water nearly ( Batter should be watery )

METHOD

In a bowl, Add all the ingredients one by one and mix well. Dilute with water and allow to rest for half an hour. Heat a nonstick taw. Give the batter a quick mix and then pour it on the tawa to make a dosa. Sprinkle oil and let it cook under medium flame. When the dosa becomes golden brown, do a fold and transfer it on a serving plate. Enjoy having with ur favourite dip :)

BANANA OATS SMOOTHIE

Start your day having a quick and healthy smoothy made from banana, oats and milk. Its a perfect way of health boosting add - ins. Its rich and creamy and has a beautiful pleasant colour.
INGREDIENTS

1 Ripe Banana

1 Cup Chilled Slimmed Milk

2 tbsp Roasted oats

1 tsp Dates syrup

Pinch of Vanilla essence (optional)

METHOD

Grind all the ingredients into the mixer and blend for about a min.

Pour into a serving glass and Serve cold

INSTANT OATS IDLY

I got this interesting recipe which is just perfect to have for breakfast from Raks kitchen. No doubt shez an amazing blogger. I have tried so many of her recipe which were all outstanding and upto mark. Thank you so much Raks for sharing the recipe. BARLEY OATS IDLY

Barley is a delicious whole grain that can be used in number of ways like in soups, porridge, salads idly or dosa..Drinking barley water on regular basis helps keep away many health issues and nourishes our body. Its also supports in weight loss, lower cholesterol and controls diabetes. Now coming back with recipe, barley oats idly is one of the healthy breakfast for people who look of weight loss. You can also poha in this recipe to make the idly super soft. My family just love this and I make sure monthly thrice I do this :)

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Barley.

3/4 Cup Idly rice.

1/4 Cup Urad dal.

1/2 tsp Methi seeds.

1/2 Cup Oats

Salt to taste.

Method.
Soak barley, idly rice and urad dal separately for about 6 hours. Make sure you rinse the barley minimum 3 times. Grind urad dal first followed by rice. Just as the way you make for normal dosa or idly batter. Then grind barley and oats adding required amount of water in mixer. Combine the grind ed batter and mix well adding salt.  Let it ferment for 10 hour. After that its ready to make idlies by steaming in idly maker for about 15 min. Serve hot with ur favourite chutney or sambar.
With the same batter you can also make cute little paniyarams :)
