Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Love Is In The Air

Good morning,

Steph here with you today. Since we are on the cusp of the month of love (!) I have used this as my theme for my January Uniko Brand Ambassador Inspiration.

For this card I have used Uniko Big & Bold Love stamp set which includes the two large heart stamps. It’s quite hard to see but I embossed the middle white section using one of the Uniko Bokeh Layering Hearts stencil and stamped the purple hearts over the larger raised hearts before adding the fussy cut LOVE sentiment.

Continuing with the Uniko Bokeh Layering Hearts stencil I used the second stencil to create an offset design using Distress Oxides in Antique Linen and Speckled Egg.

My final card uses Uniko Scattered Polka Hearts stencil and a heat embossed sentiment from the Uniko Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

Not all my cards are for Valentine’s but hopefully they have given you some inspiration for Valentine’s or just for some birthday or even thank you cards full of love.

Much love

Steph x

Celebrating 12 Years - Another Grand Prize Giveaway 🎉

Hello & Happy Tuesday

I'm back today with Another Grand Prize Giveaway 🎉

Last year I added this prize to the giveaway line up and although I don't release as many stencils as I do stamps, I still think it's a pretty grand prize to win. Especially if you enjoyed the unique and innovative stencils that were released last year.

So who wouldn't LOVE to win this??

This is a BIG deal for myself & Uniko to offer another prize package like this to another one lucky winner, the last few years haven't been easy, BUT without YOU I wouldn't be celebrating 12 years of being in business.

So THANK YOU!

Thank you for supporting me, for supporting Uniko, for cheering me on, for purchasing the products I design, for sharing your purchases, wins & makes on social media and for simply being wonderful loyal customers.

Here's a little card I made in honour of todays giveaway using one of my favourite Uniko Stencil designs, MOD Background Builder.

I'm slowly getting better at this soft stencilling! I realised it's best to attempt it with blending brushes that have been heavily inked. That way I don't re-ink the brush and simply use what's left on it. This is what I did with a yellow brush and a pink brush, which created a lovely peachy colour in the middle.

I chose the sentiment from Big & Bold Love, one because it's almost Valentine's Day. But also because you can send a With Love card on someone's birthday. I would just stamp, on your birthday inside the card.

I used a mix of Hearts from Big & Bold Love and Background Builders Hearts and the with sentiment is a partial stamp from Everyday Love Sentiments.

Anyway, to be in the chance of winning this prize, simply add your name to the linky below. The link up will close at 23:59 Thursday 29th February 2024.

The winner will be announced on Monday 4th March 2024, along with all the other 12th Birthday Celebration Winners 🎉

One last thing before I go, how about a  fabulous discount code too! The code birthday12 is valid for the whole month of February 2024 and can be used on any order placed, even if you place multiple orders during the month!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Love Cards

Bonjour !

Izzy here today. January is almost finished and Valentine's Day is not far so I've created three Love Cards using, among others, the Big & Bold Love stamp set.

For my first card, I decided to pair it with the Beautiful Blooms I stamp set, recently revisited by all the Brand Ambassadors (see HERE), and with the Always and Forever stamp since one of the hearts in this set has the same bloom on.

I die cut a stitched rectangle in a white card stock and I stamped the blooms in soft pink and the leaves in soft green. I flat adhered this panel on a double white card. I stamped the heart with brighter pink ink on an heavier white card stock and I fussy cut it. Then I stamped the word LOVE and I also fussy cut it. To finish I foam mounted both the word and the heart.

For my next card, I paired the Big & Bold Love set together with the Large Background Scattered Polka Heart Stamp. By the way, if you are interested, this background stamp is on sale (-50%). It's time to treat yourself before it is retired from the website.

Here I simply stamped this background in red hues on a stitched white rectangle card stock and I flat adhered this panel on a double white card.

To finish I stamped and I black heat embossed the word Love, I fussy cut it and I foam mounted it on the card.

Finally I made a shaker card. This time the Big & Bold Love stamp set is combined with the Background Blocks Scattered Hearts set.

I stamped the background in soft grey on a square of white card stock and I opened a heart window with a die. On the back I adhered a piece of clear acetate.

I stamped and I black heat embossed the word love and I fussy cut it.

To finish, I put some red sequins on a double white card, I foam mounted the panel and the word Love on top.

Et voilà ! Thanks for joining me today and hopefully I've given you some inspiration for your Valentine's cards.

Have a lovely week-end and thank you so much for stopping by.

PEACE, LOVE, JOY

Hello & Happy Monday!

I'm starting the week off with another festive card and one that uses and combines non-traditional Christmas products.

I love alphabet stamps and of course our Alphabet Outlined, but it is often a clear stamp set I easily forget about and neglect. But it's such a versatile stamp set and one maybe I should keep in mind more often. I was thinking about how I could incorporate the alphabet on my card and as I often do, I started browsing through Christmas cards I've made previously to spark inspiration.

I came across this one using Festive Sentiments Outlined and Peace on Earth HERE and seen below.

And this is how I took the inspiration and came up with something new...

A colourful and eclectic mix of Uniko products! With the alphabet stamps being a larger scale I first needed to change the orientation of my card from portrait to landscape. I then divided my card panel into 3, lightly drawing lines with a pencil to keep my stamping as straight as possible!

Once I'd stamped the words, I set the panel aside to dry while I stamped the dove from Peace on Earth and the heart from BIG & BOLD Love. I fussy cut them both out and added some glitter using a glue pen.

I then went back to my words, used an eraser to remove the pencil lines and coloured the letters with Stampin' Up! Blend Markers. Before assembling my card I stamped the tiny string of lights from BIG & BOLD Merry on the ends of JOY.

I then adhered the panel to my base card using foam tape and added the dove and heart with foam tape as well. To finish I added some colourful Nuvo Drops to the Christmas lights.

This was a fun to make and was a great way of stretching some non-Christmas products. Now I am thinking about other words and combinations! What words would you choose for a Christmas card using this layout/style?

Hope your week has started well.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - One Layer Love

Good morning

Anita here and today I have a trio of clean and simple, one layer cards, all with a love theme and using a selection of products.  Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I hope I can inspire you with these.

Ok, here's my first card...

I began by stamping the heart from the Always and Forever clear stamp set and then I stamped the same heart on a mask and covered up the image.  I then blended two shades of pink ink through the Scattered Polka Hearts stencil, fading it out.  To finished I stamped the sentiment in black, also from the Always and Forever stamp set, manipulating the stamp slightly to follow the curve of the heart.

My second card...

I chose a hammered card base for this one and began by stamping a selection of hearts from the Always and Forever and Big & Bold - Love stamp sets in Versamark before heat embossing in white.  I then used a technique I've not used in years, I blended the pink background against a piece of torn paper.  I then stamped more hearts in red, pink and grey and the sentiment in black, which is from the Always and Forever set.

And my final make...

I stamped the floral heart from the Always and Forever stamp set in black and then masked it off with the same mask I used for the first card.  Next I positioned the Background Blocks Scattered Hearts stamp to the top right but masked off a few of the hearts before inking and stamping.  I then repeated this in the bottom left so the hearts flowed down across the card diagonally.  The card was finished with a sentiment from the Always and Forever set.

So the above are all completely flat with just a little masking involved to create them.  Thanks for taking a look, Happy Monday and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - BIG & BOLD Love & Paw Print Hearts

Bonjour !

It's Izzy here. I echo Steph's post (see HERE) with her Love cards but this time for another loved one...your four-legged fellow.

So I made 3 cards using the Paw Print Hearts and the BIG & BOLD Love stamp sets where I show you how versatile but also complementary both sets are.

For my first card I wanted something bold and bright so I stamped the paw prints in different colours all over the double white card and I stamped in a very light grey an outline heart from the BIG & BOLD set between the paw prints.

Then, I stamped the word LOVE from the Big & bold set, on a piece of Vellum and I heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

To finish, I fussy cut the word LOVE, I foam mounted it on the card and I stamped in black the rest of the sentiment.

Since I was little, I have always had a cat at home. Currently we have three! Most of my friends also have a cat or a dog. We know very well that they are not eternal and that it is always very painful when they leave us. A card does not replace them but it brings a little comfort in these painful moments.

For my second card I also uses the Scattered Polka Hearts stencil to make the background with a light pink ink. On white card stock I stamped two hearts in pink from the BIG & BOLD set and the heart from the Paw Prints set in red.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Paw Print Hearts set, I fussy cut the hearts and I foam mounted them on the card.

For my last card I wanted to use the cat from the recent Uniko January release:  Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day and I combined it with the other two sets.

It's a One Layer card since I directly stamped all the elements on the card base. I started by stamping the paw prints in grey as well as the silhouette of the cat. Then I stamped the little hearts in red.

For the sentiment I used some masking tape. I first stamped the heart in red, I masked it and I stamped the "L" of the word. Then I shifted a bit the stamp to finally stamped the rest of the word.

And that's all for me today. I really enjoyed making these cards and I hope I inspired you to use and combine your Uniko's products. You will be surprised how versatile they all are !

Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Even more love...

 Bonjour !

Izzy here. First I wish you all a very Happy New Year full of love, happiness, health and a lot of craft !

To echo Steph's post (see HERE) and her cards full of love, today it's my turn to show you two cards.  They can be used for Valentine's Day, for a loved one or for a friend.

The first uses again the Always and Forever set that I associated here with the Beautiful Blooms I set and its matching dies.

I stamped the heart on a scrap of white card stock, I coloured the flower with a colour pencil and I fussy cut it.

I die cut the small flower of the set 4 times then I stamped the flower in two colours using the second generation stamping technique.

I adhered the flowers and the heart on the double white card with glue dots and to finish I stamped a sentiment from the Simply Said Blocks III set that I foam mounted.

For my second card, I used the Big & Bold Love set together with the Background Blocks Nautical Stripes and the Background Blocks Scattered Hearts sets.

First I scored two lines on the double white card and I used the Background Blocks Scattered Hearts set on the left part of the scored lines.

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the striped heart and I fussy cut it. Then, on another piece of card stock I stamped the Background Blocks Nautical Stripes that I die cut with a heart shape.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment and some tiny hearts on the double card and I adhered the two striped hearts with glue dots.

That's all for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Take care and give your Uniko's products some love !

Brand Ambassador Inspiration - Happy Valentine's Day

 Bonjour !

Izzy here with two cards for this Valentine's Day.

For my first card I combined the following products ...

I got inspired by the colours of the Colour Throwdown challenge and by the Time Out challenge photo inspiration.

First I stamped the background stripes block in black ink on a white card stock. I cut it and I foam mounted it on a white double card.

Then I decided to make a gradient from pink to red when stamping the hearts. I fussy cut them and I glued them on the striped background.

I finished by stamping the sentiment the same way, I fussy cut it and I glued it.

For my second card I used :

For this card I got inspired by the sketch of A Place to Start challenge. I started with the background, using the stencil over a white card stock and blending distress inks. I flat adhered it to the fuchsia card base.

For the heart, I used a leftover of an alcohol ink panel that was still on my desk from a previous card. I stamped the heart with Versamark and I heat embossed it with Silver Pearl powder. I love how it lets see through the alcohol ink mouvement.

I die cut a label that I glued onto the stencilled background. Then I fussy cut the heart and I foam mounted it.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment in black and I glued some tiny hearts die cuts coming from the same Alcohol ink panel.

And since it's Uniko's birthday too, I couldn't finish this post without a birthday card ! For that I had fun using on the same card the products of the February releases of the last three years.

I kept the same shades of colour for this card. I placed the stencil on a double white card and I coloured with Distress inks.

Then I stamped the flowers silhouette in black and I heat embossed with glitter powder. I also stamped the sentiment the same way and I cut it with the matching die. I used the sentiment die background on Vellum paper.

On this picture it is easier to see the shimmery of the black silhouette and sentiment.

To finish I glued the sentiment on the card and I added three sequins.

That's all from me today. I wish you all a lovely day !

Thank you for stopping by.
