I've been tagged by two different people…Connie and Heidi. The name of this game is to answer the following 10 questions and then tag 4 other friends or so to do the same on their blog pages
*Best thing you cooked last week?
Chicken parmesan, I had my parents over and I know how well they cook so I had to show them up which by the way I think I did because they kept commenting on how good it was. I have the best husband ever, he thinks that everything I cook is good even when I’m trying new things!
*If money, time and babysitting were no object, where would you go and with who?
There are so many places I would love to go. First of all I would take Adam to Alaska, he was going to go there a few years ago but he married me instead :) Then I would drag him along with me and go to a beautiful beach in Hawaii and just lay in the warm sand. I think I’m missing summer maybe just a little bit. And last of all, I would go to the mall all by myself. I know it sounds crazy but with a baby who doesn’t like the stroller, let’s just say it’s a little more difficult browsing.
*When was the last time you cried?
When my little boy was sick a few weeks ago…he wouldn’t sleep, he didn’t want to be held, he wouldn’t eat, he didn’t want anything and I just wanted him to feel better. It just broke my heart, and I think some of it had to do with being so sleep deprived for days.
*Five things you were doing 10 years ago:
1. I was 15 at the time so I was having fun being a kid, I loved being a kid, no stress.

*Five things you were doing 1 year ago:

2. We were finishing up with Brody’s room.
3. I was working at Discover Card full time, hoping to be home so I could clean, clean and do some more cleaning, I guess you’re never really ready for a new addition!
4. I was hoping my Doctor would approve me to be done with work early. I got a week and a half what more could you ask for…
5. I had a couple different showers that were thrown for little Brody. Thanks to my family and Connie (my sister in law).
*Seven of your favorite hobbies:
1. I love blogging, I would have to say that this is my new favorite hobby I guess I can count it right! Although Adam wishes it weren't at the top of my list, he thinks it takes away time from him. But now that my blog is fixed, he can have all of my attention.
2. I love to read when I have a good book and can find some time to myself to read.
3. I love going on dates with my husband
4. I love playing with Brody
5. I like to make jewelry, this is my newest hobby (I’m getting better over time, you should’ve seen my first necklace…scary)

7. Cuddling with Brody in the morning, he used to hate cuddling and now when he wakes up if I put him down at all he cries, he just wants to be held. I’m so glad he learned to cuddle, Adam and I both love it!
*Five favorite foods:

3. Picking raspberries at my grandma and grandpa Johnson’s and then playing on the mountain that was their backyard.
4. Taking a drive in Adam’s jeep up to Bear Lake, we were dating at the time. We stopped on the side of the road and Adam got out and wrote Adam + Bri in the snow…how cute! We walked around the dock’s it was so chill! It was the best date ever!
5. Traveling during my childhood. My family did a lot of camping and boating growing up. I remember one time where the music was playing and we were driving through some trees and the music just went to the bumps on the road and the swaying of the trees. I know it sounds crazy but it was such a fun time with my family!

Brody helping with the dishes!
Brody is always taking his left sock off, we just can't seem to keep it on. Oh well, maybe someday I will get some new socks that suction to his little legs.

My blog is fixed!
After a long time of trying to figure out how to have the date with each posting, it finally worked. Thanks to my friend Nikki and her patience, we figured it out! I'm so excited that I now have my blog working the way I want it to. Thanks Nikki!

Our fun visit!
My sister Tarasha and my niece came to visit yesterday. It was lots of fun watching our kids interact. Now that Brody is getting older, he and Taya like to play more. In fact Brody is Taya's little shadow and Taya loves to give Brody hugs!

Hockey Time
Adam and I got invited to go play hockey with some friends last Friday. Boy was that a fun and exciting experience. Needless to say, Adam nor I have been ice skating in who knows how long so we were a little rough on the ice at first but then we felt that we got pretty comfortable...maybe too comfortable. Adam was going fast, very fast trying to get the hockey puck and boom he fell flat on his face and nose and passed out for a moment or two. Talk about scary but he got up, sat down for a minute and was ready to go again. That's my husband for you, doesn't want to stop having fun even despite the pain he is in. I on the other hand was wearing knee pads and fell but of course missed the knee pad so I have a good bruise to remember our fun times. We are a bit sore today but you bet we will do it again!
