There was a little boy who swallowed a screw. I don't know why he swallowed a screw, perhaps he'll learn. Brody learned to put screws in between his lips because that's what his dad does when he's working on things but somehow this particular screw went down his throat. To top it all off the screw is 1 1/2" long, you might ask how does a little boy swallow a screw that long? It's possible and here's his evidence. The hospital isn't such a scary place especially when you get two popsicles and a teddy bear. Hopefully Brody doesn't think it's a happy place to go to :)

Widowmaker
We went to the motorcycle hill climb up in Croyden, UT. We convinced our friends Joe, Claudia and Adam to come at the last minute which we were so glad they came. They are such great friends to us and our little boys are the same age which is even better. We had a great time and hope to do it again next year.

Happy Father's Day!
First of all I just want to tell my cute husband Happy Father's Day, he is such a wonderful father to our two boys I seriously couldn't have asked for better. He is so patient with Brody especially when he is working on something. He is so willing to teach instead of get frustrated when there's too much help. Brody knows he has a fun dad because the second Adam walks in that door, Brody doesn't want to have anything to do with me. And of course he is wonderful with Cooper, he is so willing to help and wants to make sure he has his play time with Cooper as well. I love you so much!
Also a Happy Father's Day to my dad and father in law. They are also such wonderful men in our life. I appreciate all that they have taught me and Adam through our years of growing up. We can't wait for many more years to come. We love you!
I know it's been awhile since I updated so here's a few things that have been going on in our house...
My little helper
Setting the table for breakfast (we were having french toast, but he knows we usually have hot sauces with our eggs, and gotta love the fruit loops)
Apparently Cooper had a little hanger :)
Cooking dinner with mom (I was going to use these spices until...)
Brody's new big boy bed
He has been sleeping in the converted part of the crib for awhile now but we decided it was time to put the bed together and let Cooper have the crib.
Putting on "shoes" to go outside (pretty good he remembered the socks with the tennis shoes huh?)
The other day I was cleaning the bathtub and somehow I got completely soaked maybe because I have a little helper. Brody went in my room and got some pajama bottoms and said "here Mom". He truly is my little helper, I love him so much!
Cooper, Coopy, Coop
He is just being the cutest, sweetest, happy baby ever. We have the best baby , we never knew what it was like to have a baby not cry unless there was a real reason. He is smiling all the time. He just started cooing and there are a few giggles. He is so fun. He is in such a routine right now...eat, wake time, sleep time. He loves to be bundled tight and sang to and instantly he is asleep. When we talk to him he just kick his little legs so fast. He sleeps about 7- 7 1/2 hours most nights. We are so blessed to have him in our family, we love him so much especially Brody, he wants to kiss him all the time. Brody will say Mom, watch then he gives Cooper a kiss.

Cooper's Blessing Day
It's been two months since Cooper came into our home, even though it's difficult to have children sometimes it's so worth it. His little smiles and his tolerance of Brody pushing and pulling him around by his feet and arms make him a great child! We love him so much, he has been the best baby ever. After having a challenging baby the first time, Heavenly Father knew we needed a calm baby that was easy and not colicky. What a wonderful day it was yesterday to have Cooper blessed by his dad. We love you Cooper and are so grateful for the spirit you bring into our home.
