How would it be being a kid and having a birthday all month long? We started Brody's Birthday off by going to the Living Planet Aquarium. We had a good time other than the fact that there were trillions of kids there for a field trip and Brody wanted to try out our new double jogging stroller so he stayed in it almost the whole time. But at the same time I would be scared of all those kids too three times my size. Brody loves the movie "Cars". So he got Mater sheets and a Lightning McQueen chair and helmet to go with his new blue bike which he absolutely loves!
That night we took him to Chuck e Cheese for the first time and boy that was a hit. We ended up buying another trailer the night of his Birthday so we drove up to Layton to pick it up so we asked my family if they wanted to meet us at Chuck E Cheese in Layton and they all came and our friends Becky and Blake and Tori met us all there. It was a blast! Brody and Taya couldn't get enough of all the fun games.
Last Sunday we officially celebrated with the whole family. We are so grateful for how close our families are so then we can do these fun parties for our little man. Brody and I went and chose a birthday cake for the family party at the store and he spotted the tractor cake and wanted to take it home right then with us. That cake got a little scuffed up but oh well. He didn't quite understand that we couldn't buy it right then and that we had to wait to pick it up in a few days. The cake turned out cute and Brody just wanted that tractor on top he didn't care about the rest.
I love this picture because not only did Brody have lots of help opening a present but Jack even got a hammer to help open it, so cute!
What kid gets excited about clothes, apparently my kid does!
St. Patrick's Day
Brody woke up to a huge mess with cookie cutters all over the place. I told him that the Leprechaun came and did it. He looked at me like he couldn't believe it. I told him that the Leprechaun must've wanted him to make some clover cookies. So we decided to invite our friends Trisha, Lexi and McKenzie over to help make some cookies. I forgot to take a picture with them there but we have the end result with the cookies all done.
For breakfast I made pancakes and of course Mickey Mouse pancakes for Brody. But some how the pancake batter turned green, that little Leprechaun was on one. So we had green pancakes besides Brody's Mickey Mouse pancake, even Cooper had green pancakes.
Music Makers
In Brody's and Cooper's grandma's ward there's an activity every Tuesday called Music Makers of which she takes the boys to. Brody gets so excited for it. There's a bunch of kids that come and dance and sing. Brody comes home and sings some of the different songs. Cooper even loves it and gets in on the action. Here's just a couple pictures.

Brody's 1st Friend Birthday Party
All week the weather said it was going to be a nice day but then of course things changed and it started raining and then snowing really hard. So the morning of Brody's birthday party I was a little panicked because how could we have an outside birthday party with jump houses in the snow? After making a few calls we found out we could use the gym at our church. Hallelujah! The party turned out great, we had some of Brody's friends and his two cousins come and a few extra people came to witness Brody's first Birthday party! I kept debating if we should have the party and I'm so glad we did, it was lots of fun! I made a motorcycle cake of which Brody wanted for breakfast the day of his party...too cute! He also wanted the motorcycle on top of the cake which was really hard to resist playing with until after the party and he still hasn't put the thing down. Brody's 3rd birthday is this Friday and I can't believe my baby is going to be three. He is growing up so fast and is learning so much! I sure love him!

We have the internet again!
It's amazing how much you depend on the internet for everything these days. Our computer and our laptop crashed we think we got a virus. But thankfully it's with this amazing guy who is brilliant with computers and we are forever grateful to him for helping us out. We have been without for about a month and I think we were about to go crazy. We just got a netbook and we are back to reality again :) At the same time it was kind of nice not having the internet because we focused more on our family and each other. So now I can finally do a post on my blog...woo hoo!
Here's just a few things we have been up to this last month.
Boy do we love the rain! Brody is able to wear his rain coat and daddy can throw him as high as he wants outside.
We planned on visiting our friends Kamey and Fletcher and their family last weekend in Spring City but after discussing how we all wanted a get away vacation we decided to go to St. George. After shopping, golfing, swimming, playing and just being it was time to turn around and come home. Although it was a quick trip, it was a fun trip and we had a great time!
We definately have spring fever in our home. It's been great having nice weather this last few days. We went to the park with our friends Trisha, Lexi and Mckenzie. The kids had a blast and Brody and Cooper could've stayed on the swings all day.
Last but not least...Look who's crawling!
