Hello and welcome!! I am excited to share this super colorful birthday card with you that has a rainbow fringe with some yummy solid bakers twine from The Twinery.
I created this card for my daughter who's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day. She loves to celebrate her birthday on that day and welcomes anything that has to do with the holiday for her birthday.....I knew that a rainbow card would be prefect for her.
If you want to see how I created the fringe, hop on over to The Twinery blog to see how I made it. Here is a closer look at the fringe......
I used a star embossing folder in my Cuttlebug for the embossing and finished it off with a Fancy Sentiment from SRM Stickers. So, do you like rainbow patterns?? Do you use them on your craft projects??
Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Amy

Home Sweet Home
Hello friends!! I know it has been a while since you have seen a post from me.....I am so very sorry for that. I do have a card to share with you today that uses the super cute Home Sweet Home stamp set from Jane's Doodles.
I colored in the images with my Copic markers and then cut them out. I mounted them onto this fun textured background that I created with a chevron embossing folder and then added a little bit of ink to the edges. I added some die cut grass pieces and then tied it up with some yummy Marigold bakers twine from The Twinery. I mounted it all onto a white cardstock base and added the sentiment and a little line of pink sticker dots from the Valentine Sticker Stitches. Take a closer look.....
I think that this will be a perfect card to give to someone who just moved into a new home, don't you?? This card was posted over on the SRM Stickers blog last week. I would love it if you would hop on over HERE and give me a little comment love there and here. Thanks so much!!
I do want to thank you for visiting my blog and for sticking with me over the last several months as I have battled with some health issues.....which probably led to me losing a bit of my crafting mojo as well. I can say that I have got back into my crafting room to start creating again and it feel so good. I do have a couple of new projects going up on the blog this next week.....so don't miss them!!
Hugs,
Amy

Need a Hug? : Poppy Sketch #9
Hi everyone!! I am finally getting things unpacked and organized in my scrapbook room, but I *think* there may be a stray box or two in the garage with some of my crafting supplies in them. Hopefully I can get most of everything unpacked in the next few days so that I can get back to crafting when I want to. ;)
I was able to pull together this card for Poppy Sketch #9 that is up today......
The sponsor for this sketch/challenge is Jane's Doodles. I love this fun little stamp set that I got to work with...it is called Nuts about You. The colors for this challenge are Violet, Seashell Pink, and Gold. The woodgrain is stamped in the Violet color (purple shades don't photograph well for me). I added the cute little heart image to the otter by cutting around the arm with a blade and then gluing the heart in the slit. Here is a closer look at my card.....
For the Gold, I stamped the leaves with embossing ink and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I finished off the card with a bit of Gold Shimmer bakers twine from The Twinery.
I just love this sketch!! Hop on over and join us at Poppy Sketches for this great challenge and then don't forget to check out the other FABULOUS cards by the other design team members.
Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Amy

Happy Summer : Poppy Sketch #7
Hey everyone!! I don't know about you, but I am happy to have summer here, finally. I am not a fan of when it gets really hot, but I love to be able to do lots of summer activities, like hiking, fishing, camping, picnics, wearing sandals, and going to the beach....just like on this card I made with the newest Poppy Sketches challenge that starts today.
I used my Cricut to cut out the flip-flops and my Cuttlebug to add the Swiss Dots and D'vine Swirls embossing. The sentiment and stitching are SRM Stickers. I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, too. Here is a closer look at my card.
The touch of glitter on the flip-flops is Stickles glitter glue and I also added a bit of Solid Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery under the sentiment.
Did you know that there is a fun twist with every sketch challenge over on the Poppy Sketches blog? Can you tell what the twist is by looking at my card? Here is the challenge photo to help you see it:
Hop on over to the Poppy Sketches blog to play along and see what the other designers have created to help inspire you, too.

Thanks : Poppy Sketch #6
Hello friends!! Today there is a new sketch up over on the Poppy Sketches blog. This one is a new one that has a bit of a different twist to it. Instead of colors, we are going to challenge you to use a harlequin pattern somewhere on you card. I was sent this lovely orange satin ribbon with a knotted edge from May Arts to use on this project. Check it out.....
I used the Coffee Background stamp and Chunky Jar Accessories from My Creative Time on my card, as well as the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I finished it off with a bit of machine stitching and a yellow button.
Hop on over to the Poppy Sketches blog to join us for this great new challenge.

You are Sweet : Peachy Keen Stamps June Release {Day 4}
Hello and welcome back for Day 4 of sneak peeks of the Peachy Keen Stamps June release. There are three new sets that we are showcasing today...they are Little Peanut and the new Clowning Around Face sets.
I used the Clowning Around 1 1/8 inch faces on this Popsicle card that I cut with my Cricut. I also added a sentiment from the new Circus Treats stamp set and also added a stamped background on it with the new Chinese Swirls A2 background stamp.
Here is a peek at how it opens.
I added some embossing with a wood-grain Sizzix embossing folder in my Cuttlebug and then tied some of the Cool Caribbean bakers twine from The Twinery around the popsicle sticks. I finished it off with a button.

Oh Snap! : Poppy Sketch #5
Hello!! I am excited to share my card today using Poppy Sketch #5. We go to design with files from The Cutting Cafe for this challenge and I just ADORE the fun camera images I was sent, including this fun Polaroid.
I cut this camera image with my Silhouette Cameo machine and then assembled it....I really love the fun look of the lens with all the layered circles. On the top circle and the viewfinder, I added some glossy accents to make it appear as glass. The white photo frame around the camera is also from the set and cut with my Silhouette Cameo. Take a closer look.......
For the banner at the bottom, I just cut some diamonds on my Silhouette Cameo and then used my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss it.
Here is a peek at the sketch challenge with a POP of color that you will find over at the Poppy Sketches blog:
I hope you can hop on over to the Poppy Sketches blog and join us for this awesome challenge.

Blog Hop with The Twinery and Top Dog Dies
Hello and welcome to my stop on this super fun blog hop with The Twinery and Top Dog Dies!! If you have come from Monika Wright's Blog, you are in the right spot. If this is your first stop and would like to join us for inspiring projects and a chance to win some fabulous prizes, hop on back to the Top Dog Dies blog to get started today.
For my project, I got to work with the Pretty Petals and Vintage Alphabet die sets from Top Dog Dies along with some of the beautiful Solid Strawberry and Solid Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery.
I used the Vintage Alphabet die and ran it through my Cuttlebug machine. I carefully removed the die from my cardstock piece and then carefully took out the H and I pieces. I then cut another piece of white cardstock, just smaller than the one I die cut with the letters and added some strong adhesive all over the front of it.
I then laid some of the Solid Strawberry and Solid Honeydew bakers twine where I knew the H and I would be. I then carefully placed the whole sheet of die cut letters over the top of it (lining up the H and I over the twine). Two of the letters fell out (O and B), but I just carefully put them back where they were and the adhesive that I had on the back cardstock piece held it in really well.
I then cut out the Pretty Petal flowers and then distressed them a bit, then layered them on top of the die cut letters in the bottom right corner with rhinestone centers and some looped Solid Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery.
Here is how you can win:
It is now time to hop on over to Suzanna Lee's blog to see what wonderful project she is sharing with us today. Here is the complete blog hop line-up for today:

Peachy Keen Stamps May Release Blog Hop
Hello and welcome my stop on the Peachy Keen Stamps May Release Blog Hop!! I am so in LOVE with this month's release....our family is really into camping, hiking, and fishing. If your family enjoys these things, too, then these are the stamps for you!! If you have arrived from Emily Kluender's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened upon this post and would like to join us, hop on back to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to get started and to check out the whole release and hop details.
For my blog hop project, I created a 12x12 layout with the new May Stamp of the Month, Up a Creek and Camper, and the Camping Pine sets. Take a look.....
I don't have photos printed for my layout, but I used 3x4 place holders for my photo of the layout. For the camper, I paper pieced and also used come Copics as well as a silver paint pen around the frames of the windows and on the wheel and hitch. Take a closer look......
On the fun little raccoon and campfire, I used my Copic markers to color them in and a little bit of white pen accents. Here is a closer look at them.....
I cut the Happy Camper with my Cricut and the Outdoor Man cartridge. I also added some embossing with my Cuttlebug on the green cardstock and added some chalk ink.
It is now time to hop on over to Gigi McKellips' blog to see what wonderful project she is sharing with us today. Have fun and Good Luck!!

Hello and welcome!! Today I am sharing a card that I created for Poppy Sketch #2 that just went up today. I am so glad to see that many of you participated in the last Poppy Sketch....I hope that you will also find time to join us for the second one as well.
I got to work with some fun stamps from Stampendous! Here is my take on the sketch with a POP of color added for the challenge........
I stamped the image in London Fog ink from Memento. I added some pencil coloring to the silverware in the middle of the image and also a little bit of Copic to the little pepper in the bottom corner. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the white and red cardstock for added texture. I finished off the image with some brads and some stitched ribbon.
Take a look at the sketch from Laura for this challenge......
I hope you can hop on over to the Poppy Sketches blog to join us for this fab challenge....I can't wait to see what you create.

Amy

Congrats! New Color Challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps
Hey there!! Today I have a sweet little card to share that will hopefully help inspire you for the new Peachy Keen Stamps color challenge that is up today.
For my card, I used the sweet little baby girl image from the Life Is Good Babies stamp set. I colored her in with my Copic markers and added some white pen details. The sentiment is stamped from the Honey Sentiments set. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the blue background and cut the white layered piece with some Quickutz dies. To finish off my card, I added some ribbon, stitching (pen and machine), along with a little brad on the sentiment piece. Here is a closer look at that sweet baby image.....
Here is a look at the new challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps.....

I am also hopping a little bit later today with the Peachy Keen Stamps and Kadoodle Bug Designs teams over on facebook as we celebrate Kadoodle Bug Design's 3rd birthday. Hop on over and check out my project over there and join us for a chance to win some wonderful prizes CLICK HERE to join us. Here is a little peek at my project......(oh and it also could be inspiration for the new Peachy color challenge).
I hope you have a great weekend!!
Hugs,
Amy

Rainbow Birthday + Exciting Announcement!!
Hello everyone!! Today I have a fun rainbow birthday card to share with you that I plan on giving my sweet little girl on her 10th birthday next week. I thought it was only appropriate that I make her a rainbow since she was born on St. Patrick's Day.....
I used some of the solid bakers twine colors from The Twinery to create the rainbow. First I stamped the rainbow image from the February 2012 SOTM at Peachy Keen Stamps onto the background paper piece that I cut with rectangle die from Spellbinder's. While it was in the die, I inked the inside edges with a sponge and ink pad. I then put on some strong adhesive (like Scor-tape) over the stamped image and then adhered the bakers twine in the rainbow image. Here is a closer look......
For the clouds, I stamped them from the same stamp set and then added some chunky glitter to them with a clear adhesive. To finish off my card, I added a sentiment from the same set and tied up the card with more solid bakers twine from The Twinery. The embossing on the background is done with the Cuttlebug and the patterned paper is from the Simple Stories I {heart} Summer 6x6 paper pack.
Ok, on with my exciting news. I have been invited to stay on with The Twinery design team for my 3rd term. YAY!! I am so happy to be staying along with some other design team members and so happy to see these new names joining us this year as well.......

Hello : March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions
Hello friends!! Today is the March Stamp of the Month blog hop with Taylored Expressions. I have a fun little card to share with you that uses the March Key Ingredients kit along with the Stamp of the Month called Take A Spin.......
I love how fun these papers in the Key Ingredients kit are. They form the perfect backdrop for the fun Take A Spin stamp of the month set for March. I also used the Spin it to Win it coordinating die set to cut the circles around the stamped images. Take a closer look at my card......
The fun wood accent is also included in the March Key Ingredients kit. To finish off my card, I added a little embossing with my Cuttlebug, some Solid Natural bakers twine from The Twinery and stitching with my sewing machine.
Take a peek at this months Key Ingredients kit and the Stamp of the Month.......
Did you know that you can combine the Key Ingredients kit and the Stamp of the Month into one big kit?? It is called the Deluxe Subscription. There are some special advantages to combining them both, like one low price compared to getting them separately and an exclusive coupon each month that you are a subscriber for 10% off your orders from Taylored Expressions all month long. It is now time to hop on over to Cassie's blog to see what wonderful project she is sharing with us today. Here is the blog hop line-up for this month:

Peachy Keen Stamps March Release Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to my stop on the Peachy Keen Stamps March Release blog hop. If you have come from Emily's blog, you are in the right spot. If you have just happened upon this post and want to check out all the wonderful Peachy stamps that are being released today, hop on back to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to get started.
Today I am using the new March 2014 Stamp of the Month set on my card. I just love this adorable wedding car......
You have the choice of a couple of different sentiments to put in the sign on the back of the car. I colored the image with Copic markers and added some Solid Natural bakers twine from The Twinery to tie some cans to the back of the car. The "Congratulations!" sentiment comes from the December 2012 SKOTM.
Here is a closer look at that super cute car......
Take a peek at the complete Stamp of the Month set for March:

Amy
