Here, there and everywhere!

Stick with me, thesephotos are not in chronological order, but believe me if I arranged them all correctly I would lose a whole day!

These are the photos from Saturday.
We had to go to Blaydon, famous for it's song "The Blaydon Races"
If you click here you are in for a treat!

We travelled up on the A1 so we passed the Angel of the North.

We spent a little while in Newcastle and on the way home we passed Lumley Castle.

It really is a lovely castle and Jon & I spent a night there in 2005 when we were invited to the Wedding Evening Reception of one of my clients.

We came home via the coast.

We made the mistake of having fish and chips in Seaten Carew.....we weren't hungry later so the special meal in was postponed until Sunday!

Talking of Sunday..........

We went to Stokesley - Helmsley then onto a lovely village between Helmsley and Scarborough called Thornton-le-Dale.

We had an icecream..Jon had vanilla I had lemon sorbet!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

We had a walk round and I took a pic of the odd door here and there.

There was lots of bikes out on Sunday, it was a lovely day!

One parked up from us was a Fireblade.

Exactly the same colours as our first Fireblade.

We had some fun on that bike! LOL!

We did not give in!

This is the main street, notice the gift shops!

We had a look in the garage specialising in vintage and classic cars.

After Thornton -le - Dale we went onto Scarborough, then home via Whitby!

I cooked a lovely meal of cod fillet in a lemon zest & pepper breadcrumb crust and jerusalem artichoke, parsnip & potato chips!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I bought the fish on Friday when Enid & I went to Whitby!

Check out this shop's website for some amazing recipes!

You will recognise the owner from the pictures on the website.

The fish is amazing!

Watch the TV for future features involving this shop!

The reason we went to Whitby was to collect my new glasses.

I went to Specsavers and was served by this chap!

Dikki you were a star!

He should really be on the TV!

What fantastic service, I will certainly go there again!

A quick snap of St. Hilda's church and Whitby Abbey!

Remember I said no particular order?

So here for the Heartbeat fans a few pictures of Aidensfield or Goathland as it is called.

The Garage!

We were so lucky....this is the actual car used in the filming of the series.

So at last a proper update of our weekend.

Looking back what a fantastic 3 days.

Hopefully many more to follow now the weather is having a couple of good showings.
