I thoroughly enjoyed the organic nature of how this one evolved. The basis was a satellite view of some fields in France, but it soon took a life of its own. This one is heavy, painted on 1/2" plywood.

Winter Light

Happy New Year! I painted outside today, which is always a good thing. The paintings don't always turn out good, but the act of doing it is invaluable. I'm pretty happy with this one. Pushing myself by painting in an unfamiliar way today.
