She who leaves a trail of glitter

This month at Path of Positivity Challenge, the optional twist is "Inspired by Texture".   I love the texture of glitter, so I used this as my inspiration for the start of the challenge.

I have used a faux glitter digital paper for the background.  The images are from Cuddlebug, Digital Doodling and May Brit.  The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added Kindy Glitz (glitter) to the wings and Wink of Stella to the dresses.  I also added some tiny glitter domes.

Merry Christmas

This week at CHNC, our optional twist is For A Lady or a Girl

I have used a paper from a paper pad.  The image is from May Brit and the sentiment is from a Kaisercraft paper pad.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some pre-made flower embellishments.

I would like to enter:

All Wrapped Up for Christmas Carolling

I've matched the carols on the DP to the image of a Christmas carolling bear:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Christmas Cards All Year Round
http://christmascardsallyearround.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/july-challenge.html

I have used a paper from MME that is covered with Christmas carols and other Christmassy words.  The bear is a digital image from May Brit which I coloured with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  The red mesh ribbon is some that I bought on holiday in April.  I had been wishing that I had bought more as I'm really enjoying using it - today I was filling in a bit of time and walked into a shop that had lots of colours of it in two different widths.  I bought some more today but I'm sure I'll be back there to get some other colours!!  I got some black today and some narrower cream and white.

Back to the card!  I added a bell embellishment which I further embellished with a red pearl then added another two red pearls to the base of the card.

This nice cheerful image comes from May Brit.  I have coloured the snowman in copic markers and then used C1 to outline the image.  The papers are from a paper pad called Christmas Collection.  The grosgrain ribbon is from American crafts.  The sentiment is from Folded Paper and Printed Pixels and has been die-cut with a Spellbinders Banner die.

Christmas Stocking

I let the image dominate this card!

The card is for the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Christmas Stockings
http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/04/christmas-stockings.html
CHNC - Anything Christmas
http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2.blogspot.co.uk/

The card uses background papers from a christmas paper pad by MME.  I think the image is from May Brit but can't be 100 per cent sure.  I am currently away from home without my computer files.  I printed out and die-cut a few images that I thought I might want to work with while I was away.  The sensible thing would have been to write the sources on the back - however, I didn't think of that then!!!

The image is coloured with copic markers BV02, BV000, R27, G17, G14 and has been die-cut using a Spellbinders die-cut.  The sentiment is from Netty's Cards.

The background paper comes from a paper pack by Rosies Studio.  The image is from May Brit.  I have coloured the image using copic markers and kindy glitz.  The die is from Spellbinders.  I have embossed the die and then added Distress Ink to the beads using a Tim Holtz Blending Tool.  The Beary Christmas sentiment comes from GTC Crafty Corner.  The music clef die is a Memory Box one.  Both the matting and music clef are cut from glitter cardstock by DCWV.

Mistletoe or Holly

I have gone with the holly in the card:

The challenge can be found at Incy Wincy:

The image is from May Brit and has been coloured with copics, highlighted with crystallina Kindy Glitz and then die-cut using Spellbinders Labels die.  The background paper is from Beary Merry Christmas paper pack.  Lots of holly there as well as the bit on the image!

I added some gold glitter tape from American Crafts and also a constructed flower using a flower part and a rhinestone.

http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/santa-claus-is-coming-to-town.html

The card:

I have created a background using an acrylic stamp and some Barn Door Distress Ink.  The background paper is from Merry Berry Christmas paper pack.  I have also added some christmas ribbon from American Crafts.  The image is from May Brit.  The flower has been built up using three layers with a green rhinestone from Kaisercraft in the centre.  I have also used three of the smaller Kaisercraft rhinestones in the upper corner of the card.

Christmas Teddy card

The challenge at Winter Wonderland is Christmas Teddy:
http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2012/06/christmas-teddy.html

I love working with teddy images and this is the card that I created:
The image is one from May Brit - she has a lot of Christmas teddy images so I might end up doing a second entry yet!

I have coloured teddy using copic markers and adding some glitter to his fur.  The image and matt have been cut using a Spellbinders Label die.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp that came from a set with Cardmaking in Easy Steps magazine.

The background paper is from Craftybitz.
